Waterfront oasis awaits. 2 Decks! Minutes to LBI

Welcome to “The SunBerner,” your waterfront oasis, right over the bridge from Long Beach Island in Beach Haven West. Wake up and enjoy your mornings with coffee and a view, a nice book, the sound of seagulls flying overhead, a slight breeze, and the warm sun. A tree in the back to provide you some shade, with a few hanging chairs to sit and sway from with a cocktail in hand. The sea calling your name? Feel free to float in the lagoon or paddle out to the bay. Short drive to the LBI beaches.

What is a "SunBerner," you ask? A Bernese Mountain Dog who loves the beach, of course! We named our home after our lovable companion, Bear, who very much loves the beach. Follow us on Instagram @The.SunBerner (*Not a pet-friendly rental; however, we do have dogs that are at the house when guests are not. If you have allergies please be aware of this.)

The space
This 3-bedroom (2 bedrooms with a queen in each, 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds), 2.5-bathroom home boasts new and updated finishes, a washer and dryer, both an upper and a lower deck, two floating docks you can fish off of, float off of, or jump into the lagoon from, plus a state-of-the-art Weber Genesis II propane gas grill for BBQ-ing to perfection. Waterfront shore home close to all the action of Manahawkin and Long Beach Island. Additional amenities include access to swimming, a bicycle, kayaks, inflatable tubes, and a paddleboard. Separate fridge/freezer in the garage (“Beer Fridge!”)

Any and all use of the amenities (access to swimming, bicycle, kayaks, and paddleboard) will be at the guest(s) own risk. It is assumed that they will be used properly and safely (and carefully, as if they were a tenant’s own property).

We are not responsible for any accidents that occur or happen near the water or on the premises. Life jackets are provided (3 adult sized medium, 1 infant).

There is a fence with a spring lock and latch between the deck and the water. There are no lifeguards on duty at any time. Be safe and never swim or use the amenities alone.

The backyard is fenced in.

Coffee and tea provided. Drip coffee maker and Nespresso machine available for your use. Only coffee and tea provided; breakfast is not provided.

Access to the TV includes Roku sticks in each of the 3 bedrooms (set to guest mode, so you can use your own logins) and cable TV in the living room. (If you rent a movie, we will charge you for this; please let us know ahead of time if you do so that we don’t have to track you down!)

A Weber Genesis II grill is provided for use. Please replace cover once cooled down after use as to protect it from the elements. Please use foil and clean after using. Grilling utensils are in the drawer in the kitchen located under the coffee machine.

2 beach chairs are available for use (hung in garage). We also have 4 beach tags available for your use at Surf City Beach (6 minute drive).

Feel free to use the 1 women’s bike hung in garage during your stay.

Paper products are supplied upon arrival. Once depleted, guests are expected to supply any additional needed for their stay.

NOTE: There is a fireplace in the living room, but it is not a working fireplace. Only for aesthetics. Do not try to use.

The home is located on a quiet street and is great for kids. We are friends with our neighbors, many of whom have young families. No loud noise/music after 10 PM. No setting off fireworks on/near our property/street. No parties. No fires/firepits.
