Sprawl our with a book on a gravel-blue sofa amid electric artworks and hip furnishing in a vividly-attired living room. Individually-decorated bedrooms flow with serene pastel color palettes. Located in the heart of Elmwood Village, our place is perfect example where old meets new, or modern commingle with retro. Just a short block away from the best part of Elmwood Avenue with everything Elmwood Village has to offer: local shops, restaurants, coffee shops, local supermarket and more! Take a walk to Delaware Park, Art Gallery or farmers market in the summer. Niagara Falls just 25 min drive and Buffalo Waterfront and sports arena is only 5 min away!
When we arrived, we couldnât get in @ 6pm. Then when the cleaning crew put the keys back, we got in! Wished we hadnât and went somewhere else. Back door could not be locked and stairs were blocked with air conditioners. Went to have tea, and all the cups were dirty!
I recently stayed at both of Irinaâs properties, Richmond Ave and Ashland Ave with a grandchild, one/one with me/a grand. Being a vacay rental owner myself, I have more of a critical eye than most, my standards are high, both of these were disappointingly low. Safety is always my first concern and both properties lacked greatly. No fire extinguisher, (stumbled upon one at Richmond but only because it was tucked under the kitchen sink and I found it while looking for something else. There was NOT one at Ashland at all) no emergency escape plans, no way to quickly contact Irina. Ashland was on the second floor with only one entrance, if a fire broke out, weâre screwed.
On less-than-impressed side, neither address had working clocks. There were clocks, all batteries dead. Neither address had icemaker or ice trays. Ashland, the bed was a mattress only and SQUEEKED even when I breathed! A video to prove the annoying, all-night-long challenge. Sleep was impossible.
RichmondâŠbathroom shelf was falling off the wall when I arrived and I shared immediate pics with Irina so as not to be held responsible. She thanked me but two days later, the shelf did actually fall off the wall as well as a towel hook. Ashland, door lock is INCREDIBLY difficult to use, also a video to show the challenge and yet another impediment to an emergency situation.
Irina knew about my first visitâs concerns. TVâs were confusing. Yea to hot water!
$$$ better spent at a Hampton Inn.
Didnât realize when we booked here how conveniently located this place is! Loved the neighborhood and surrounding shops and restaurants. The apartment itself was perfect too. Really cute placeâweâll be staying here again for our next trip to Buffalo!
Quaint apartment in a quiet neighborhood. The apartment was clean and comfortable. My sons enjoyed having toys and games to play. We loved being near shops and restaurants.
The apartment is in a beautiful neighborhood.
