No hotel or any other type of short term rentals will give you the luxury and security that my property will give you and I mean NO WHERE for the price and central location to Manhattan or American Dream Mall which both are very close
The apartment was good and comfortable. Only one of the TVs had a remote but was not a big problem for us. Would have preferred more cooking items to use the kitchen more. Neighborhood was a bit uneasy and friends did not feel safe walking around in the evening
The place was really nice and very comfortable. The host was lovely and was really helpful. The grocery stores are close and everything is very convenient and the beds were very very comfortable!
The pictures of this house are very deceiving. The house is sitting next to piles and piles of garbage. The neighborhood is VERY UNSAFE. 2 of my cars were vandalized (broken windows) right in front of the house. The property owner Burnie did nothing about it, even though there are cameras. The house has roaches and ants in it as well! The hallways are disgusting. Just please skip this listing and find something with the best reviews because this family trip was a nightmare for my family! I slept in my car the whole weekend because I didnât want my car to be vandalized again. Adding pictures of my car window busted out and a roach that was on the only extra roll of toilet paper in the house.
Burnell is an excellent host and he is understanding. Check-in was easy, and so was communication with the host. The apartment was well kept and clean! For a large group everyone had their own bed. There was plenty of parking off-street and felt very safe inside the apartment.
We will definitely stay again!
The host was very nice. He met us at check in to show us how to get in and leave. We were there to sleep pretty much. We went into the city each day. There wouldnt of been enough dishes to feed everyone if we did cook in. We were only given 1 towel per bedroom. We had 10 people. We did find hand towels to use. We did not contact the host as we were rushing to get to the city. Floors were sticky in some areas. The neighborhood is a little rough but we felt safe in the apartment. All of the gaming units were broken.
We did not make our flight to check in the first night. I tried to communicate with owner but NEVER got a response. Then when we did make it into town we drove to the property and quickly turned around and booked a new place. This house is the only decent thing on the block. It is in the hood and not safe for families to stay if you are not from the area or if you plan on going outside the house at all. I lost $ on this trip for not using the house but it was well worth the safety and comfort I felt for my family. I canât tell you what the inside looked like but I can suggest that you GOOGLE map this please before you book. This is just my experience and my opinion.
The Apartment is cute but very MISLEADING!!!!!! PLEASE READ
MY stay was upsetting at first. here's what happened:
1. I asked owner was it close to where I needed to stay which was (Edison/Weehawken/Hoboken) he said 15-20mins that's a lie it was 40 mins from where I needed to be for business & I had to re-arrange all plans for entertainment for business associates.
2. THIS PLACE IS IN THE HOOD!!!! THE neighborhood is not nice. the apartment is nice inside but stay inside.
3. Its a grumpy neighbor downstairs because the apartment is on the 3rd floor & as we were talking & getting dress for dinner she kept banging on her ceiling which is the floor of the apartment. When we left to walk down the stairs she opened her down & went off on us. Saying a lot of mean things to us asking why we rent the place don't we see the neighborhood etc. its rats in the apartment & ppl slash tires outside etc she held us up for 10mins with her complaints about being a tenet.
4. There is no nice places to eat or anything to do near by even if you drive 15mins out.
5. Last only reason why we stayed was because we couldn't get our money back because short booking & the owner is nice. It was only 1 night stay but if it was any more days then that I would of drove back to Edison/Weehawken & booked a hotel.
hope this can help
