Nestled in the Brainerd Lakes Area, our cabin offers the perfect mix of relaxation and convenience—just 5 minutes from Cub Foods, Costco, Target, local bars, and Madden’s Resort.

A water softener is the only thing the cabin could use. Lake has good fishing a lil shallow but good none the less.

The property was even better than expected and in 10 years of renting a family summer cabin at various VRBO’s , the host was the best by far. Best communication, best check in /check out instructions and timely responses. The layout worked well for our multi generational family( keep in mind there are stairs up and down /split level if anyone I. Your party can’t do stairs) , having 3 bathrooms was a huge plus, beds were comfortable and very well stocked kitchen. We usually bring water toys, life jackets, tubes, etc and this year they never left the car because they supplied everything !!! The close fire pit was a great benefit and the sandy beach ( along with even sand toys!) was great for the kids. The lake was extremely low so unfortunately no swimming but the fishing was excellent and the 3 kayaks was great fun. Highly recommend the property!

The house has everything that you need for a fun family vacation. The beds are extremely comfortable, a table everyone can fit around, and a peaceful lake.

Our family had a very nice stay at this cabin. We had plenty of space for our four families, beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the utensils we needed, and more! The owner was very responsive to questions. Check in and out was easy.

The house was a great size for two small families (4 adults and 4 kids under the age of 8). Honestly, probably could have fit 4 more but 8 was great. The lake is quiet with not a lot of other boaters and it is peaceful. We didn’t boat but there is a boat slip 2 houses down. Fishing off the dock was fantastic - the kids caught so many. The beach/sandy area was great for the kids and also felt very private. The kayaks were fun. The garage had all sorts of other fun yard games and stuff to use beyond what the listing or pictures had. Very convenient. Lots of yard space as well. The kitchen and outdoor areas where everyone gathered were spacious. The overall house was very private but also only a couple miles from any store you could possible need. The propane grill was clean compared to other rentals. The house was very clean with lots of games, toys, books and other items that make your stay nicer. The neighbors were nice and harmless with younger kids. No late night shenanigans during our stay. Although some people like the shenanigans, we are just older now, not for us! Lastly, the host TJ was great. Very communicative on the check in and out and you can tell he genuinely cared that we enjoyed the stay. One of our faves we’ve ever stayed at!!!

Friends and Family trip 2025

12 of us stayed ages 13-48. Something fun for everyone to enjoy and plenty of space to hang out even on a rainy day. Felt away from everything but so convenient to town.

Lots of room for everyone to have space, close to town, but quiet on the lake. Check in was simple, very prompt and easy communication, and we had no issues during our stay. The kitchen is fairly well stocked and the filtered water at the sink was nice. We had fun on rainy days with the games, the ping pong in the garage and also enjoyed the fire pit and lily pad.

Family reunion

We had an amazing time at the house! It was clean, beds were very comfortable, all the amenities of home, the views of the lake were beautiful, and couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay for our family reunion. We will be back next year!

Fit our needs

Property worked well for two families (all adults) for a new years weekend. Booked property cause it was close to town which was nice. House was nice and has had some nice updates.

Wedding close by

Extended family stay for wedding weekend. Very comfy beds! Great campfire wood supply and beautiful views. Used the oversized dining room table frequently, great set up for us. Good communication and great location to Baxter.

Great summer vacation

We had a great time at our getaway and TJ was awesome! We had enough bedrooms and beds for our family; it was comfy and had everything we needed. We had bonfires, fished in the lake from our boat and off the dock. Went boating in Gull Lake that is very close, went go karting, and much more. Great location!

Great Stay!

Great cabin. Was very clean and spacious. We stayed in winter so didn't get to enjoy the lovely lake but still had a fantastic stay. The cabin accommodated 9 of us perfectly. Owner was very responsive to questions. I would recommend this beautiful cabin especially for those with larger groups! Thank you, TJ!

Great location. Great host. We had a wonderful time. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone! We were here for powercruise at brainerd international speedway. So we had a lot of cars. The garage here was spacious enough to hold two of them and then the long driveway held the remaining ones. It was also only a 5 minute drive from the house to the track!

Big table was perfect for 8 adults to gather and catch up! Lots of counter space. Fully stocked kitchen. Some VRBOs have limited serving or cooking dishes. This one had lots to choose from.Neighborhood was quiet. Enough parking, we had 4 vehicles. Loved that they provided firewood. Fire pit was big enough for 8 adults to stay warm on a chilly night! Linens were soft and no one complained about the beds. Overall, the group was happy and would stay there again.

Family Lake House Vacation

We enjoyed our 7 day family vacation. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Our host was very nice and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed trying our luck fishing from the dock, using the kayaks, the wild flowers, watching the birds like loons, osprey, blue jays and orioles to name a few, toasting marshmallows around the fire pit, and playing board games with our grandchildren. I will recommend this beautiful place to friends and family, and would gladly come back to stay!
