A very special combination of a historical Spanish adobe house, some victorian era qualities combined with modern upgrades. You will feel like you stepped back in time with old Spanish colonial style windowpane and bathroom carvings, Spanish retablos build into upstairs closet doors. Build-in cabinets with special hand made carvings in the upstairs bathroom. A beautifully landscaped yard in a great neighborhood just a short walk to the famous Plaza Park. You won't want to leave.
The space A beautiful cast-iron woodstove will set the ambiance in the wintertime to your "never want to leave" vacation home. A beautiful house in a historic neighborhood just minutes from the plaza park. A short drive down the same street will take you to the United World College of the American West and the world-famous "Castle" which was once one of the two Harvey Houses in the original Las Vegas. This is an artist getaway with inspiration in every direction once inside this humble artistic abode.
Guest access Parking is in the front of the house just off the main street. There is an access driveway inside the curve that allows you to keep your vehicle off the main street and in the front of the house.
The house is nice, you can tell they have been doing some upgrades. The host was super nice and really helpful. We were only in town for the balloon festival in Albuquerque, so it was a short stay for us.
This home was well located: easy to get to from the freeway, and close to the town square. The home was clean and had many recent updates that were appreciated. Bottled water was provided as well.
A Lovely old house, large rooms, tall ceilings with modern kitchen and bathrooms. Many hand carved details that gave added historic Mexican flavor to this sweet house. Loved the privacy, large front porch and gorgeous peony's in the front yard. We just didn't get to stay long enough.
Nice older home near the main street of town. The loft upstairs was perfect for our 4 kids. We stayed downstairs for some much needed privacy. Covered laundry room right off the kitchen was convenient for our family. Nice part of neighborhood. We will be looking forward to another stay next time we go to new mexico.
The property was clean and ready for use. Dish TV worked great and all the appliances seemed to work.... Although we were out much of the time and didn't really need the kitchen or WiFi.... It's located close to the university and the surrounding locations frequented by college students and staff, which made our visit much more enjoyable.
Property was tucked deep into a very unfriendly neighborhood, cop sirens all night. I took 3 children under 12... Highly recommend against staying with kids in this town. Either stay strapped while staying here or drive on thru to Santa Rosa.
Home had missing light fixtures, floors were extremely creaky, walls plaster was falling off in dining room, none of which was shown in pictures of property. MISQUITOS ATE US APART, INSIDE THE HOUSE AND OUTSIDE THE HOUSE.
Living areas were clean, and beds were nice.
Enjoyed our stay and worked perfectly for our family. The home was welcoming and even had the small things you wouldn't remember to bring with. Having the family of 6, I really enjoyed the laundry room and having the full kitchen supplied. All windows are screened and despite high temperatures, we were comfortable. There is a small window unit downstair and upstairs that helped keep temps manageable. Mr. Lujan responded quickly to questions and we would definitely stay again!
Stayed for just one night. Way better than being cooped up in a hotel. It was nice to have a kitchen and it is a short walk to the plaza, which is adorable and has a great pizza place. Joseph was responsive when I reached out to him and very kind.
First, and this was my error for not catching this detail in the description, this house does not have A/C. So if you need a cool environment to sleep comfortably, I donât recommend staying here in the warmer months. You can open the windows at night but the temperature never got to a cool level.
House is conveniently located and a cute/cozy atmosphere. Plenty of space to spread out. Kitchen was well appointed and it was nice to have a full size laundry room available.
We were visiting family in Las Vegas NM and this was a great little house for the $$. We were at the house to sleep & eat breakfast and then over at familyâs. Totally would stay here again. Just have to wait for my husband to b ok with a 14hr+ road trip with 3 kids again lol.
We stayed here during a family ski trip to Sipapu, and the house was perfect for what we needed. Our only question was that the owner wasnât super quick to respond and did not leave check in or check out instructions. We did our best based on what we had been expected to do in previous VRBO stays. Other than that though, this was a great stay.
