Classic Vintage Log Cabin is on 2.5 acres right on the shores of Lake Superior! A cozy step back in time. 250 ft. of private bedrock shoreline. 3 BR, sleeps up to 6 guests, 3-season porch with pub table & children's play area, large updated 3/4 bath, full kitchen, and a large stone woodburning fireplace.
Outdoors: Charcoal grill, firepit, free outdoor firewood, new Adirondack chairs, swing and large picnic table. Birds visiting the birdseed area right outside your window, plus plenty of deer and eagles right out the front window. The bedrock shore is amazing for jumping into the lake or just watching the waves when they're calm or crashing onto the rocks.. Just about every guest comments that they're blown away when they see the property in person. We'd love to have you join us!

Just Beautiful!

We had an amazing & relaxing long weekend. The cabin was immaculate clean, comfortable, and right on the lake. It is just minutes from Two Harbors and close to State Parks. Lots of things to do in the area. Everything about this accommodation was top notch.

Love Love Love

This is such a beautiful and tranquil property. Spent the weekend with my sister and disabled father (everything you need is on one floor).We absolutely loved our stay here- it was on a gorgeous inlet, with beautiful views for Lake Superior. House was extremely cozy with a lovely wood stove. Beds were comfortable and relaxing. We cooked several meals in the kitchen, which had everything we need.Would definitely stay again without question- already looking for dates to bring my kids when the weather is warmer!

Perfection

Classic Vintage Log Cabin is perfect for us. We are hiking sections of the Superior Hiking Trail, and right now we are near Two Harbors, so the fact that this place is in Two Harbors, it is perfect. We need 3 bedrooms - again perfect. The hosts are great people!! Perfect. The weather this year couldn't have been any nicer. Perfect. Lake Superior was like glass one of the days - perfect! We love exploring the lakeshore, and there is much to explore - perfect. Even the Harris' Sparrows in the yard was a surprise! And we're already booked for next year. Perfect!!!

Fall Hike and Bike

Exceeded our expectations on all counts. So quiet and beautiful. It felt like we were at our own lake cabin. Great location to head up the North Shore to explore and then return for a good sleep and start over again the next day.

End of summer Lake Superior getaway

This property and cabin had everything we wanted and needed. The ledge rock overlooking Lake Superior was spectacular. The cabin was spotless and had all we needed to cook, grill, and sit around the fire pit overlooking Lake Superior. It had vintage charm and lots of updated amenities. The location was private, yet close to town if we needed anything. Beds were comfy and loved listening to the lake. We certainly hope to return!!

What a place. If you're into Lake Superior, and quiet, this cannot be beat. I hesitate to review it, because it is getting difficult to book, ha ha!

Quintessential Cabin on the Lake!

Great cabin filled with home-like amenities and comfort inside and outdoors. The beautiful views of the lake and rocky shoreline are why we keep coming back to the lovely North Shore!

Family Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The scenery was beautiful and Sandra was great to work with. We stayed with family and visited a few parks in the area. We would definitely stay again at the cabin.

Unmatched views and lake access

The cabin is situated perfectly on Lake Superior, offering views and rock ledges to climb. The location is a short trip to Two Harbors, beaches, and waterfall hikes. We had a great stay.

Absolutely beautiful

The views were stunning and the cabin was exactly as described. We had everything we needed. The location is perfect. I recommend making the scenic 2 hour drive to Grand Portage state park. There are also several state parks within a half hour drive. Local restaurants were excellent as well.

This is a wonderful cabin on a beautiful property. Sandra is a fabulous host and responds immediately to your questions. This was the second year we’ve stayed here and we will certainly be back.

Perfect family getaway

We loved the property! Kids had so much fun playing down on the rocks by the water. Loved the location as it wasnt right by the busy road and how close it was to town.

Gorgeous retreat

This property was outstanding!!! Not only is it a beautiful location, but the cabin was so clean and completely stocked with everything we needed. Sandy and Tim's care of the property made it a very enjoyable experience.

Super Cozy!

Our family had a great time in the cozy cabin! We had to hunker down due to a snowstorm, but what a great place to be stuck! We loved the fire place, and our kids had fun with the frisbee golf in the front yard. The views were beautiful, and the hosts were kind and helpful! Would definitely recommend!

Cozy Cabin

This cabin was super cute and cozy. The check in and out process was incredibly easy and the property was extremely clean and had everything we could have needed. Kitchen came fully equipped and bonus there were board games available! It was a great place to spend a weekend!

We are four people, needing 3 bedrooms. Check. We like to be on the lake. Check. We like to have a fireplace fire. Check. We need to be close to our Superior Hiking Trails. Check. The hosts were very friendly and accomodating. Check. What else do you need to know?

Fall Get Away

Very lovely 3 night get away with friends. Great area, historical and great hiking! Our cabin was very clean. Great for 2 couples or small family. Spectacular view.
