I will start off with I will never stay at this property again.
The bad - Pool was filthy when we arrived. The spa does not have jets that are different than the pool...very low water movement. The spa also does not get more than warm. This is not a hot tub. As a result of the jets issue, the property manager did give us a discount on the heating of the pool. That was nice. Besides the pool being dirty, it had zero chlorine in it and smelled bad. I went to store, bought test strips, and found zero chlorine in the pool. Pool maintenance guy came out after 2 days and had to put chlorine in pool and clean it. Pool guy said that in order to have jets in the spa, they would have to be overridden, but he was not going to do that as it could have started a fire. I was happy with the warmth of the pool though.
Next major issue - 4 days into the stay the air conditioner stopped working. The property manager was able to get someone to come out the next day to inspect it. The AC unit went bad and needed to be replaced. We went 5 days with NO air conditioning. BRUTAL. The only fan in the house is in the living room. So 90 degree weather with no air conditioning made sleeping impossible. When I asked the property manager for a discount for this inconvenience, he replied that if I wanted to rent again, he may give a discount. This is UNSATISFACTORY AND UNACCEPTABLE.
The back door barely could be opened and the handle was close to falling off. The property manger told me to just use two hands to open door. I inspected door and noticed that someone tried to grease the track. While this may have worked for them, the grease they used collected dirt, so that is why the door could not be opened easily. I went to the store and bought cleaner and tools to fix the issue. I spent 2 hours cleaning the track and fixing the door handle. The door works much better now. No compensation form the property manager for buying cleaning supplies and tools and cleaning.
The good - house was very clean inside. Very spacious. Rooms were nice to sleep in (when we had AC). Property manager was in fairly timely communication with us through the issues I noted above.
