Conveniently located, this fully updated 2BR/2BA one-level second-floor condo is just one block from the beach and only 5 miles from historic downtown Galveston. Enjoy a private balcony with a peekaboo Gulf view. Guest amenities include access to a resort-style swimming pool and hot tub. Complimentary WiFi, cable TV, and a washer/dryer round out your home's essentials. Family-friendly amenities include a Pack ‘n Play, an umbrella stroller, and beach toys. THINGS TO KNOW
The parking rate for 1-3 days is $36.70 plus tax ($3.30), a total rate of $40.00. The parking rate for 3 or more days is $45.88 plus tax ($4.12), a total rate of $50.00.
As part of the Extended Stay Program, this property is eligible for a discount on bookings of 30 nights or more.

Great Stay!

This was our second time staying at the Dawn Condominiums, a different unit though. Location is great! It's right across the seawall, a short walk to the beach.. the 2 pools are great and pretty much always maintained. The condo was very clean, but did notice the a/c vents need to be cleaned, as well as a stand alone fan in the master closet. Everything was provided, but depending on the length of your .stay, you will need to buy additional paper towels, toilet paper, etc... My family of 4 was very happy with our trip .We would love to stay Anson!againarmed getaway. c........vent

Great time

Cannot say enough about how wonderful this condo was!! It was so clean when we arrived and they provided so many basic items to use! We were able to set the temperature to what we wanted which was great! Many condos lock it to a set temperature. Both showers were wonderful and huge!! The condo had a great view of the pool and the ocean! It is on the second floor, the description was confusing on this. We will always stay at The Dawn. The grounds are so well kept and the pools are awesome. The parking for this condo was easy as well!! No complaints at all!!

Nice condo but has some opportunities

When we stayed, the property manager was extremely unresponsive. We tried to submit requests for a couple of work orders, including the master bathroom toilet not working and the back door not locking. It took over 12 hours for a generic response to come back and that was only after I followed up. Disappointed in Vacasa. additionally there were some cleanliness opportunities. The kitchen was extremely disorganized and cabinets were dirty. The home was decorated nicely and definitely has potential but seems like it isn’t being cared for. Additionally, one of the pools was extremely cloudy and dirty and had algae growing on the side. The other pool seemed to be better kept.

Just about everything was perfect at this property. Easy to get in and out. Plenty of space and clean conditions. Only complaint is a number of entry way and living room overhead lights and some bedroom lamps didn’t work properly.

Great condo

The property was amazing and had great amenities that we really enjoyed. The condo was comfortable and had great space to fit 5 guests. We had a few issues with the checki-in. We arrived a little early and asked if we could just hang out by the pool until our room was ready. The woman at The desk said we could go ahead and go into our room if we were sent the code which we did have. We Carried all of our stuff from the car and went up to our room. When we unlocked the room it was clear that they had not cleaned our room. So We had to take all our luggage back down to the car. A few dishes were dirty in the cabinets and we only received 2 wash clothes and 4 towels for 5 people. The only other thing that was not positive was that prior to our trip I had contacted Vacasa asking about a hair dryer and some other things and I just got canned responses that were already on the website. I thoroughly read the site so I knew it didn’t say hair dryer so we packed one then they ended up having it. I also asked what kind of grill and they just restated the information. It would be helpful if customer reach out to receive more additional information.

Lovely home away from home

This was one of the most comfortable homes I’ve been in yet. They had almost everything we needed in the home. We were close to the beach and everything else we wanted to do. The swimming pools were amazing.

Very clean Beautiful furnishings 2 br plus sofa bed Nice master bathroom Enough linens for 3 beds Ample cooking stock in the kitchen It has a vacuum- Thank God ! Unlike other condos we have rented, it had a vacuum for any residual sand!!! Streaming is available on the living room tv, cable in master bedroom Close to condo pool & ocean *Master bath needs a sink stopper. That was my least favorite thing, looking directly into the sink drain. It also needs some draino. *Air fresheners would help with the normal natural beach mustiness *Bring beach towels *This condo is located right across the street from the Galveston Walmart and sits just off of Seawall with a gas station on the corner. It is a gated community and we did not have any issues at all while we visited. We have stayed at the Dawn twice now, this is the first time in this particular unit.

Comfortable condo in convenient location.

Condo was very nice in a gated secure property across from the ocean and next to the highway. We had a view of the pool and the ocean from our balcony. The place is on the second floor which is nice for the view but tricky getting large suitcases up the stairs.
