Let your culinary skills shine in the stunning kitchen, equipped with sleek stone countertops, stainless steel appliances, and helpful gadgets. While dinner simmers, perch at the island bar with seating for three. Then, gather for fresh meals around the formal six-person dining table. Or, keep mealtime simple with a cookout on the backyard gas grill. Then, dine alfresco amidst the serene surroundings on your deck, featuring a picnic table that seats six comfortably. Unwind into vacation mode in the open living area, featuring natural woods, gleaming floors, and upscale decor. In the evening, light the wood-burning fireplace, relax on the sofa and armchairs, and settle in to stream a movie on the smart TV. Take in the delightful scenery from the two rockers on the balcony. Drive 5 minutes to the public boat ramp. A grocery store and Canyon Lake Marina - offering boat and jet ski rentals - are mere minutes away. Additional nearby outdoor venues and activities include river tubing on the Guadalupe, hiking, and swimming at Canyon Park, live music at Whitewater Amphitheater or Gruene Hall, as well as Schlitterbahn Waterpark.

Due to severe drought conditions as of November 1, 2024, all public boat ramps to Canyon Lake are closed. No refunds or discounts will be given for water levels. For the most current information on the lake water levels and boat access please visit the Canyon Lake Website.
Due to the Hill Country location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis, BUT this does not guarantee pests/bugs/critters will not be visible.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Rustic Getaway!

The home was spotless. The fenced in backyard was ideal for my fur babies. Game room was a nice added touch. Would be a great place for a big group to hang out and enjoy all the Hill Country has to offer.

Family holiday getaway

This was a beautiful home and lovely property. Very cozy and spacious. Would def come back.A few things that were a little annoying. The refrigerator water and ice dispenser was not working. The manager told me to try checking lines and what not. We didn’t have time to do that on our vacation. Nor did we want to. We felt the refrigerator should have been checked for proper working prior to our stay. The same thing with the dishwasher. It was really hard to get it to work. Sometimes it worked and other times we saw that the dishwasher had not started after a couple of hours. Again, something that should be maintained and ready to go for the guests. We were really excited about the ping pong table and pool table. One of the reasons we even booked. We wanted to have family game nights. The pool sticks are almost completely worn down. The pung pong table was hard to put together and there were like 10 balls, but only 2 that weren’t bent and dented. We just think that when you pay to stay at a home for vacation, the home should be ready to be stayed in and used. This home was nice, but those things were not ready for us.

Property is located in a safe, quiet rural neighborhood. House is well equipped. Has lots of room and seating for all. Fenced backyard was perfect for our schnauzer. We’ll book stay again if opportunity arises.

Great stay!

This house met out needs and then some. The house is a beautiful house set in a neighborhood made up of large lots (about one acre each) with beautiful homes. The neighborhood was quiet. The location was great and was about ten minutes from A nice grocery store (Brookshire Brothers). The house was about twenty minutes from Rio Resort, which was a nice place on the Guadalupe where we went and relaxed in the river. They house had a great kitchen which was good because we cooked all our meals while there. The house has a nice fenced in back yard which was great for letting our dogs out to go to the bathroom. There were a few small negatives, some of which could be fixed. The back sliding glass door was difficult to open and close. The house had one AC unit which meant that the upper rooms were much warmer than the downstairs areas. The master bedroom was also warmer than the other downstairs areas. The thermostat was set to 78 when we got there and since it was 95 degrees outside, it took well into the night to cool the house off.

Quick trip to san antonio. Close enough to city but great country atmosphere! Fishing close by and dog friendly, which is very important for us and so appreciated!!

Great House for Family or Friends

Great for our group of 7. Plenty of space and as long as one of the group ok in the loft then 3 other bedrooms for 3 couples. Master downstairs' is much nicer than the other two upstairs

Lovely rustic weekend

We rented this charming place for my daughter's commencement weekend. Lovely, plenty of space for everyone to spread out, plenty of room to set up snack and meals, the soaker tub is beautiful, and we had everything we needed. Awesome!

Cabin was first class. Need more vents in down stairs. I had lots of firewood and a portable propane heater or else we would have frozen. Yes we did have major cold front but still needs fixing. Also screen on fireplace needs replacing as it is getting too old. Really enjoyed our stay

Amazing Hill Country Home

The home and property are amazing. Perfect for 3 couples. The grill is charcoal, not gas…but I like charcoal better. There were deer that would walk up fairly close to us. Would definitely recommend it.

Great place in a beautiful location

Gorgeous, clean log cabin just a few minutes drive from several parks, beaches, and lake attractions. You can see Canyon Lake from the second floor. Had a 4-day stay here with the family - it had everything we needed. Grill, washer/dryer, two big TVs. A surprising amount of wildlife, too - deer, raptors, lizards, roadrunners! Awesome place!

Overpriced and not well managed

The location and curb appeal were nice. The septic system is not being maintained. Tanks were overflowing and backyard smelled like sewage. We were told to strip the beds before we left and found that most mattresses did not have covers and noticed we slept on a stained mattress. Out of the 3 bathrooms, only 1 had toilet paper (about a third of a roll). There were no more rolls in the house. Same for paper towels. For the price and photos on the listing, we were expecting much better.

Cleaning needed, but there is potential

First off, the place is very nice and in a great area. However, after moving rental companies 3 times and having the price change, we expected more. The place had not been vacuumed or swept. There was dog hair on many things and the blankets did not smell pleasant. The heating in the house is 5 degrees or more different from upstairs to downstairs. There were spiderwebs, a stray sock, and moldy coffee in the coffee maker. Overall, the place has great potential, but it was not the greatest experience.

Great house
