Located just steps from the shoreline, this 2BR/2BA condo features Gulf views, a private balcony, and an extremely walkable locale. Take advantage of amazing amenities at The Dawn, including a pool, hot tub, and fitness center. With a warm residential feel, your upscale hideaway provides the best location in the complex (far enough from the pool for ideal privacy). Whip up your favorite meals and beach snacks in the immaculate kitchen, configured with ample granite counter space and a full suite of stainless steel appliances. When it’s time to dine, the table seats four. Complimentary WiiFi and an in-unit washer/dryer are provided.

Beach days are made easy with the Gulf just steps from your door. Walk to local eateries and attractions. Plan a deep-sea fishing trip or a parasailing adventure. Additional entertainment can be found at Schlitterbahn Waterpark Galveston and Moody Gardens.

THINGS TO KNOW
The parking rate for 1-3 days is $36.70 plus tax ($3.30), a total rate of $40.00. The parking rate for 3 or more days is $45.88 plus tax ($4.12), a total rate of $50.00.
This unit is on the second floor. Elevators are not available.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Beach get away

Great location, beach is across the street. The accommodations were nice with almost anything you need for the stay. The grounds are very nice and well kept as are the pools. This is exactly what we needed for our short vacation.

Beautiful view of the beach.

We absolutely loved the place and the view was amazing. Even the pools were great for our kids. We were even able to check in a bit early. We would absolutely recommend staying at this place.

Amazing location

This condo has a great view, is close to the water and comfortable overall. There are some small amenities that would help bump it up a level like coffee, sugar, laundry detergent and extra towels and linens. Overall the cleanliness made up for some of those wishlist items, although the furniture could use a steam clean.

Our stay

The condo was very clean and cute! Easy access to beach and restaurants. It was a comfy space! Only issue was that the front door was tough to lock and unlock, and the front bedroom facing the other condo was very bright…if there was room darkening drapery that would have helped at night. All in all we would be happy to book this unit again.

Galveston beach nice family condo

Very good location across from beach. Good location to necessary shoppimg. Kuerig coffee maker. Nice pool. They do charge $37 one time parking fee No elevator but not an issue. Would rent here again. This condo is a nice location. There is some street noise but not a deal breaker unless you are very light sleeper on front bedroom. Second bedroom only sleeps one adult… it is a full bed…not a queen.

Good location, with some flaws

Overall I would stay again but some things need to be addressed Pros - great mattress in primary room - amazing location - beautiful view - reasonable price - great pool with the property Cons - wasn’t clean in the secondary bedroom at all - the blinds chipped and no drapes in secondary bedroom - a lot of fruit flies around - lacking some basic things in kitchen (salt and pepper) no coffee - issues checking in with the deadbolt code - did not provide some extra towels

Comfy and nicely decorated!

We fully enjoyed this 2-bedroom 2-bath with a balcony view directly facing the water! The AC was in proper working order to keep us cool during this 90+ Texas heat. Also loved that we were close to one of the pools but not "too close" to hear the noise from people in the pool. The available pots, pans, plates, cups, utensils etc made it so easy to prepare family meals. Both a Keurig and standard coffee maker were available and we used the Keurig. Good sized washer and dryer as well! The only hiccup was that the electronic door lock wasn't working. There was a standard key available to use and that was fine with us. We would not hesitate to book this location again!

Property not equipped adequately for VRBO. No toaster, No Blender, No ice Maker. Bath Towels very rough after showering. Not enough chairs on balcony to be enjoyed by 4 guest. Bird nesting in corner of balcony with droppings all over. Only beach chairs were broken. No one minding pool children not obeying rules no one watching. I have stayed at nicer properties with VRBO for money. Would not stay in this property again. Only being honest.

Wow!

Wow! It looked exactly like all the pictures. It was close to everything .... but, not all in the crowded areas. If I ever travel through that area again I would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable stay with a great view

This condo was just the right size for 3 of us - comfortable beds, roomy enough (more roomy than the pics portray), and a great view of the beach. You can enjoy the beach, hear the waves, quick walk across the busy street to the beach, nice pools, and easy access to main road. Bathrooms are nice; space was clean.

Dawn Condo #1021

The 2nd bathroom did not have a hairdryer, the Keurig did not work properly, we had to poke a hole in our coffee pods each time in order for the coffee to come through. We called and they did bring another coffee pot. They only supplied 2 sets of towels in each bathroom (they were very rough towels). The drawers in the master bedroom did not shut properly, we had to be very careful with them and the 2nd bedrooms closet was totally full of things. Also, there were underwear left in the top drawer in the 2nd bedroom (we did not remove them).

Great Place!

The property was a great place to stay and a very secure property.. Beautiful view!! It would have been nice to get a notice each day of what the new gate code was. The circle K is alittle sketchy.. Everything was very nice overall, but could have used some foil maybe some sandwich baggies, and more than 2 trash bags. I didn't want to stock the place with those items from the grocery store, as we did not have much room to take it all home.

We had an excellent time at the condo. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, the view was amazing. Andy was a huge help when we had questions. The staff was very polite and helpful. We will be back.

Great weekend getaway

Our family had a great time the condo was very clean and updated. The location was great for us bc the beach was less busy, it was right next to the store for groceries. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the mornings and late evening.
