I can't pick a single thing that stood out! Almost every morning my wife and I would wake before sunrise, take one of the four inflatable (and light!) paddle boards and snorkel gear to the beach, and paddle north along the beach to swim with the sharks, stingrays, and sometimes eagle rays. In the late mornings we'd usually paddle to the little island to the south which would we would use as home base to explore the amazing coral garden that lies just past it.Location is ideal, especially considering the little grocery shop just up the street. Tipaniers is a very short drive, and the O2 Coco restaurant is a great place for live music.Joel was absolutely the perfect host. Despite the language barrier (we don't speak French) his greeting at the property was a joy with Corine on video call to give us a tour of the property in English. With the translator app there was no issue with language. Every so often Joel would come by and deliver fruit from the trees in the yard! Probably the best papayas I've ever had.I was surprised to be happy to have the chickens around. They do crow, but very politely :) and generally after we're awake anyway. I didn't use my ear plugs.We loved it all.
