The property was exactly as pictured online, it was so close to everything in Split. The apartment itself was so spacious, comfortable and clean and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The location was perfect, short walk to the ferry terminal, train station, shopping, restaurants and most importantly beaches. Ani was an amazing and attentive host!
The property was outstanding, location and view of marina, harbor and city were beautiful both day and night. Access to Old Town, shopping, dining, market and historical sites were all easily accessed within walking distance. Host and her husband were kind, hospitable and incredible people. My wife and I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Split Crotia.
We had an amazing stay in Split. Ani was a terrific host, she met us on arrival and helped us with our bags. Her apartment was charming and well stocked with everything youâll need for your stay. A short walk and youâll arrive at Diocletianâs Palace and the heart of Old Town. Bacvice Beach Is a short walk from the apartment. Ani was a pleasure to correspond with and you wonât regret staying there.
Found this great little apartment in Split, close to everything. Our host Ani, was an absolute gem to deal with and was very helpful in guiding us to some restaurants and areas that we might want to visit. Apartment was as per the pictures on vrbo, and was well furnished and clean!
Apartment in fantastic position near all the sights of Split. The balcony is great for just sitting and watching the world go by. The apartment has all the facilities mentioned, and more. Ani was very easy to communicate with. If you want a place to stay with access to ferries, day trips or just looking around Split we can recommend this.
Our stay at Valentina was wonderful. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well-stocked, very comfortable, and in just the right spot â an easy walk to BaÄvice beach, the harbor, market, and the palace. We enjoyed having coffee on the balcony in the morning and watching the harbor lights from the same spot at night.Ani and Josip were both extremely helpful and accommodating amid a schedule change and VRBO app billing glitches. We loved our time here!
I stayed here for a week working remotely while being a tourist and it was perfect. All the rooms were spotless, in perfect condition, and well equipped, and the balcony gave an amazing view of the sunset and the water. I spent a lot of time out there just relaxing and looking
Ani is better than a super host. My wife had fallen and broken her foot. After checking in, she showed up with an ice pack for her. Aniâs place is the very best of accommodations among 7 properties we have stayed at so far since this July. The prestine balcony with comfortable chairs and a table has a view to die for, looking at the bay and the promenade. The property is only 10 minutes to amazing historical places and to great restaurants. What is amazing is how immaculate the place is. There is no mold or dust anywhere. The shower and the floor are so clean that I can even describe (and I am picky as hell). The bed is the best king size bed you ever wished for. The AC works great. The full kitchens is well stocked and has everything you need. One reason Ani is a super host is that she cares about all the hygiene products and provides ample supply of them, great great coffee. The last thing Iâd say is that because we are on a loooong trip, we have a lot of suitcases. Aniâs neighbor, Mr Gomez, was so king and generous. He really cared. He took all of our suitcase up to the apartment on the second floor, and even woke up early to bring them down went we departed. We made a mistake to offer him compensation. He was doing it from the bottom of his heart and offering compensation was the wrong thing to do. Ani, we love you and your LOVED apartment. Please give Mr Gomes our outmost respect and a big hug.
Well positioned apartment not far from ferry lines and other transportation. Short walk to Diocletions Palace, markets and old town. Host met usnon arrival and showed us the property. Easy to communicate with. Just watch out for the step in the kitchen!!
We loved this place and it's location. Only a 10 minute walk to downtown but still in a quite neighborhood. The view every morning and evening just made our day. The apartment was furnished with everything we needed and Ema met us upon arrival and showed us everything. Ani was in touch with us the whole time before arrival which made you feel comfortable
Split amd Croatia are gorgeous we will be back again.
We had such a wonderful stay in Ani's fabulous apartment. The kitchen was equipped with everything you'd need (plus extras like coffee machine, dishwasher etc) and the general layout and decoration of the flat was so classy - yet comfy! Also spotlessly clean. We couldn't fault it!
Ani was brilliantly helpful from the beginning which added to our wonderful stay in this beautiful city (she also sent on my glasses the day after we left which was so kind).
Oh and I've not even mentioned the view from the balcony which the sun hit from the afternoon onwards... Can't recommend highly enough :)
We liked the blend of the stone walls and the modern feel of the update. The bed was comfortable and our 6-foot daughter slept comfortably on the sofa-sleeper. The unit also has a small safe to secure some belongings. The balcony seats two comfortably and has a nice view of the harbor. It does overlook the railroad tracks running between the unit and the harbor.
Friendly host, Ani, is well organized and gets you on your way quickly. She also let us know of a special presentation in Old Town.
The palace is a little more than a 10-minute walk through the neighborhood (or the trail along the railroad or a little more along the waterfront). There is Ribola grocery less than 10 minutes away. Bacvice Beach is very close too.
The free parking in front of the building is on a *very* narrow street. Ani suggested parking in the lot for Bacvice Beach. During our stay (hottest days in Split in 45 years) the beach was very popular, but I could find free street parking just east of the beach's lot.
Fantastic apartment!! We spent 5 days in Split and thoroughly enjoyed the city and loved the apartment.
Location is great, offering a view of the ferry docks with easy access to the bus station (airport shuttle could not be easier). Walking to the Old Town and Riva was very easy.
The furnishings and all appliances were top shelf. Ani obviously has a great eye for style. Everything was in perfect working order from the wifi to kitchen. The bedroom tv was an unexpected bonus.
A word on televisions; many shows and movies were English language with Croation subtitles. Nice surprise. The living room tv is a "smart tv", so you can use your Netflix account if you can't miss your favorite show.
You will not be disappointed.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Ani's apartment in Split. It was decorated lovely and a great view over the harbor from the balcony. It's a perfect location to be away from the chaos of Split, but convenient to get to.
While we didn't go there, if you want beach time, Bacvice beach is just up the street.
She has a clothes line off the balcony which allowed us to wash some clothes which was convenient (your in Europe so it takes a while). There are AC (heating) units in both the main room and bedroom. TVs in both areas as well. Very timely with the Euro Cup happening at this time.
Ani was a great host. We had a late flight to get there and she stayed up and even brought up one of the suitcases up 3 flights of stairs.
While you can take a bus to town and the stop isn't that far away, but be prepared to walk up the hill with your bags to get to the apartment. We took a cab from the airport.
Use WhatsApp to contact Ani and she will also give you the phone number for a taxi for you to use. He will be cheaper than anyone else!!
There is a grocery store nearby to pick up some snacks and drinks. There are also restaurants for breakfast and dinner nearby so you don't have to walk all the way to Split.
I would highly recomment Ani's Luxury Apartment Valentina for anyone staying in Split.
We needed a place to stay prior to joining our tour in Split. The apartment is located a stones throw away from the small cruise ship/ ferry dock and the train station. An easy walking distance to Diocesan palace and the Riva... this was a perfect location for us.Ani and Joseph met us at our car and helped move our luggage up 3 flights. The apartment is superb, fully stocked kitchen, a nice seating area for meals, a big sectional with TV. The bathroom has a washing machine, a nice bonus after being on the road for a week. The bedroom is both large and separate with a comfortable king size bed and second TV. The nicest feature is the balcony sitting area overlooking the port of Split. A beautiful place for a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night
Had a great time in Aniâs apartment . Everything was exactly as the hoots and as described . Ani organised our pick up from the airport and met us personally to hand over the keys and introduce us to the apartment even though we arrived at in the evening. Loved the location . Easy to get to everything within 10/15 mins yet a quiet and comfortable stay . Thanks especially for accommodating us when flights were changed for a later departure . Definitely would stay again
We were sitting down on the couch around 8 pm when someone started pounding on the door. My husband checks the hallway and goes to open it and the other person is trying to get in as well. As soon as he opens the door the first words out of her mouth is how did you get the code? How did you get in? (Showed up with a preteen daughter) I got up and said the code was in the app. She said show me. We pull it up on the phone and she takes a picture. Then she asks for our passports and tries to change her tone, asking if we needed anything. We didn't feel welcomed. Check in was after 3pm and we got there at 4:30. The place itself was nice and in a good location, but no handsoap in the bathroom. It would've been helpful during this pandemic. Maybe she forgot it was reserved. In the future, she might want to reach out to guests to confirm arrival time and be present at arrival.
Beautiful apartment a short walk from the bus station, ferry docks, and central area. Check-in was super easy and the apartment was very well equipped.
