Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located place. You canât beat this quiet, tree lined street in the NE part of Capitol Hill. Just 1 block from Whole Foods, multiple coffee shops, local restaurants and shopping! 10 minute walk to Union Market (the hottest place to be in DC right now!) and a 15 minute walk to the Capitol building/ National Mall.
Free street parking Friday afternoon-Monday morning!
The apartment was comfortable and perfectly located. The neighborhood is quiet and family-friendly and also walking distance to the Capitol and National Mall. It was perfect for my husband and I and two little kids.
We had a great stay with our two teen daughters. The place was clean, communication with Caity was easy, and the location was convenient. We utilized the Whole Foods around the corner multiple times and loved Union Market nearby. Would stay again!
A cute and cozy apartment to stay at while going to a concert at Capital One Arena! It was very comfortable and quiet during my stay and I would definitely stay here again !!
Great house to stay for a few days. Close to H Street and the Atlas District with Union station about 12 minutes away by foot for easy access to the rest of DC!
Thanks Caity for letting 18 year olds stay at your house, it wasnât easy to find somewhere we could stay :)
This apartment is in a lovely quiet neighbourhood near to shops, restaurants, union market, union station and the monuments. All walkable distances or easy and cheap to Uber to/from. Check in was easy- Caity provided the details for the door lock well in advance of our arrival. Not sure if I missed it in the description but the apartment is 514B- the basement apartment (I tried to open the wrong door originally until I realised!) The apartment is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We had plenty of space for 2 adults and our 2 teenage daughters. There were plenty of towels and bedding to use. The air con is great and was much needed after walking around in 35 temps each day. Everything is well kept and clean. The neighbourhood is quiet and feels pretty safe to walk around at night. The street isnât very well lit so I struggled every night to find the right apartment but thatâs probably just my bad eyesight The only negative we found was the noise from the house above. From around 6.30am until around 8.30am there was quite a lot of noise each day-footsteps, voices, baby crying- there are earplugs in the bathroom so we made use of those which helped but I thought it only fair to mention in my review incase some people are not early risers and want somewhere really quiet. If we ever visit DC again though we would most likely book to stay here again.
Nice apartment with everything you need. The neighborhood is calm and central to explore the city. The host is very kind and responsive. I warmly recommend.
This was a terrific spot for our quick summer outing. The property is easy walking distance from Union Station. It is about 1 block away from a Whole Foods store. Easy to get around and lime scooters are easily accessible as well. The property owner was very considerate and friendly. We felt right at home! A great stay for the value!
We arrived on a Tuesday evening and got settled in very quickly. We walked to HStreet for dinner. We grabbed some groceries at Whole Foods and walked back to the apartment. The bed was very comfortable and my grandson slept on the sofa.
The kitchen was well equipped for our needs. The washer and dryer came in handy.
The walk to Union Station was only about 4 blocks. We caught public transportation there.
We would stay here again.
I stayed here with two teenage boys. The apartment is clean and comfortable. I stayed in the bedroom and boys slept in living room on the couch and inflatable mattress the host provided. The location was absolutely perfect -- we did a mix of walking and inexpensive Uber trips. I could walk and grab coffee from a local shop while the boys slept in. We walked to all of the major sites and to dinner both nights. A great weekend!
Pros: spacious, great quiet and safe neighborhood, full kitchen. Great communication with host.
Cons: nearly no water pressure in shower or bathroom faucet. Washer was broken. Thin walls- we could hear the dog running around upstairs. The place was much darker than the photos showed. Very little natural light, and only one lowly lit mirror in the bathroom. Itâs a bit far to walk to nearly everything touristy.
Apartment was in a good location- walkable distance to the Capitol building or a short Uber ride. Was more spacious than I expected & everything was clean & nicely furnished. Owner was very responsive to answer our pre-trip questions.
Lovely family and pet friendly neighborhood. Great location to catch easily catch an Uber. Whole Foods a block away, as well as CVS/Starbucks/ and many restaurant choices. The rental was super clean and cozy, and the host was accessible and very nice! Would definitely stay again!
The owner was especially helpful by letting us drop off our luggage prior to check-in time. Also, the 10-15 minute walk to Union Station made this property a perfect place to stay while touring D.C.
Easy check in process. Good location; very convenient to Whole Foods and reasonably close to the Metro. Washing machine not in service while we were there (6 nights), cursory cooking/eating items.
