Profitez de ce charmant 1br / 1ba (2-4 personnes +) sous-sol anglais avec entrée privée dans une maison de ville historique des années 1890 à distance de marche de Dupont Circle, Logan Circle et le U Street Corridor. Cet appartement meublé avec goût comprend une chambre avec un lit queen-size, un canapé-lit queen-size et plusieurs lits gonflables de différentes tailles. C'est un endroit parfait pour un voyage d'affaires ou une visite aux nombreux sites incroyables de DC.

L'appartement est à deux pas de dizaines de restaurants, boutiques, clubs et à distance de marche de deux lignes de métro. Il n'y a pas de stationnement hors rue pour l'unité, mais un stationnement résidentiel temporaire peut être organisé pour que les visiteurs puissent profiter du stationnement dans la rue abondant dans le quartier. Vous serez également proche de la location de vélos à court terme grâce au formidable nouveau service de DC, Capital Bikeshare.

Wonderful private space in a great location. The ground floor apartment (English Basement) has a great bed, updated bathroom, kitchen, and living area to serve as a home base during your stay in DC. Everything we needed was available. Communication was great and we plan to stay again.

I would give this stay a 12 out of 10 The apartment was clean, spacious and the host provided a welcoming atmosphere. Frank was very easy to communicate with and quickly responded to any texts. The apartment was easy to locate, marked well with easy secure entry. The kitchen boasts a full stove refrigerator microwave and dishwasher Spotless. There was a washer and dryer if needed ( we didn’t) but it was nice to know it was available. Parking on the street was easily available We were there for 3 nights (with record heat) and found it a relaxing retreat after seeing the monuments We highly recommend

This was the most amazing place to stay. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to walk. There’s a Trader Joe’s close by also lots of great restaurants close by. It was clean, plenty of extra pillows and blankets. Anything you might need while you’re here you have. Absolutely excellent I cannot wait to stay here again.

Our stay here was great. Fantastic neighborhood with lots of food options nearby. Metro was also a walkable distance. Very walkable and safe. Things I loved about this stay: it was affordable, easy to get in with a code, a lovely spacious basement unit with nice lighting despite being in the basement, instruments on the wall we could play, nice options in the cupboard, such as coffee, homey, tea, Nutella (!!), everything we could have wanted in the way of kitchen gear, convenience of a washer and dryer, and lots of other nice details that made our stay so much easier than staying in a hotel, not to mention cheaper, in a great neighborhood, close to fantastic restaurants. I highly recommend this place. Host was available and accommodating - when he found out we were getting into DC well before check in time, he let us drop our things off in his upstairs unit so we could go explore the city.

Loved staying at this property! An under 10 minute walk to the Green Line station and many restaurants. Parking was easy to find and the owner was very helpful in getting the permit and the check-in / check-out process. 10/10 would definitely recommend staying here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this basement apartment. The one-bedroom unit featured an exceptionally comfortable king-size Tempur-Pedic bed (and hubby usually doesn’t like Tempur-pedic!). The apartment was spotless upon arrival. The tile floors were immaculate, with no dust or debris anywhere, and the entire space was clearly well-maintained. The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware, utensils, and even a surprising number of refrigerator staples that made our stay more convenient.All of the amenities we needed were provided, including an iron and ironing board, and everything was in excellent working order. Although this is a basement apartment, it never felt dark, cramped, or cave-like. The space was bright, comfortable, and inviting throughout our stay.Access to the apartment was incredibly simple. The hosts programmed the entry system using the last four digits of our cell phone number, so there was no need to carry keys or worry about lockboxes. Parking instructions were clear and easy to follow, and we had a rental car parked there for several days without any issues.The host put a great deal of thought into making guests feel welcome. We would stay here again!

I'm a classical musician who's lived in Washington DC for 25 years. It's a great city in so many ways, I'm glad I can share my basement apartment with visitors from around the world. I live in the main house above the apartment, so I'm easily available to assist guests with their visits in the national's capital.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I love my neighborhood with its historical townhouses and apartment buildings, restaurants, shops and nearby public transportation. Though in the heart of Washington, the apartment is in a residential neighborhood populated with a wide variety of residents, including young Congressional and White House staffers, young families, couples and singles from all over the world. (Few people in DC are actually from DC!) One of the coolest things about where I live is the giant Masonic House of the Temple, located right across the street from the apartment. The building was designed by John Russell Pope, architect of the Jefferson Memorial and the National Archives, and it's one of the most impressive buildings in Washington. It serves as the Southern Headquarters for the 33rd degree of Scottish Rite Masonry, and a tour of the building is fascinating and entertaining. If you're a Dan Brown fan, the building plays a pivotal part in his novel, 'The Lost Symbol.'
