Outdoor wonderland

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! This place is so great looking from the outside we had people stop to ask if it was a public park or a restaurant! Endless fun outdoors, stone steps leading to the babbling brook with mini waterfalls is not done justice from the pics… this is where we spent a great deal of time! Bring your beach chairs & oversize floats for endless lounging. Charcoal grills with lump coal was great but we did forget once or twice the lead time so ended cooking on the stove. There is not a gas grill or griddle. Kitchen is stocked with over abundance of cups, plates & silverware, pots & pans and serving dishes…tons of linens too! No Keurig but courtesy coffee was provided. No air fryer but a multifunction toaster oven fit the bill. The futons are exceptionally comfortable both for couches & sleeping. The house has character in mildly squeaky doors, a finicky dishwasher & no screens in the windows but don’t let that steer you away! I have had multiple friends ask for the listing just looking at the outside pics. Highly recommend stopping at the Dixie restaurant on fri or sat for local bands & good food… get there early as the homemade pies sell out quick! We felt safe & comfortable in this home and had a great time. This is a dry town but TN is only 5 miles away for beer or spirits. I would highly recommend & would choose to stay here again.

Excellent property for a family get together

We had a fanatic time! The property is huge and lots of things to do. We played in the creek, fished as well, caught some small trout and blue gill. Viewed the family of bats living in the nearby bridge. The teatherball, swings and pool table were favorites. Lots of fridge space to keep all the drinks and food. The fire pit was fantastic, plenty of seating for everyone. There are two grills, we only used one. Loved the back porch and resting area outside. Plenty of space in the house as well, so we could watch tv together or have our quiet time alone. Great memories made, the weather didn't cooperate well, but we still had a great time relaxing here.

Winter Bliss

The snow had just fallen and made the scenery even more beautiful. We are unsure that we would be able to enjoy all of the outdoor activities with the snow and low temperatures, but everything was perfect! We played pool, made s’mores in the campfire, grilled dinners, watched the games on the outdoor tvs, played cornhole, air hockey, and enjoyed the swings and hammocks. We brought our disc golf basket and discs and had plenty of room to play that as well. We enjoyed it so much we are planning on going again!!! There was something for everyone and we would highly recommend staying at Mike’s oasis. It was perfect!!!

A WONDERFUL PLACE TO MAKE MEMORIES!

To say this place was amazing feels a bit of an understatement! It is absolutely PERFECT. All kinds of activities for all ages. We stayed October 6-10, 2022 - with never a dull moment! The place is also an outdoor grill/cook's dream! Everything you could think of was right there. My husband is already looking at our back yard to see how he can duplicate this place! Michael (the owner) was great to work with...always replying quickly to any questions we had. I could go on and on - but to say it plainly, without being to wordy - This place will NOT DISAPPOINT! Thank you Michael!

It was very nice! Looked just like the pictures on VRBO. The owner was very nice and helpful and always quick to answer any questions I had. I would definitely come back.

Amazing!

This place was just perfect! We loved all of the options for entertainment. The pool table was almost as big of a hit as the creek. This location is ideal for a group. We had 10 people stay comfortably with everything we needed. It is just a short drive to Dale Hollow lake, which is beautiful! The owner was very easy to get in touch with and handled everything we needed promptly. We can't wait to book again!

We had a great time!

Property was perfect for our 2 families. Adults and teens. Lots of activities to keep everyone occupied. Loved the screened porch and the extra covered patio. Huge!! Great for the very hot week we had. Especially for our 2 dogs. We would definitely recommend to families that love the outdoors and have dogs. Owner communication was great! Thanks for a great stay!

Lake retreat

This was a fantastic property! We had a great time! Such an excellent set up! Plenty of parking for our 4 boats, trucks, and trailers. We loved the Bar area with pool table, corn hole, and the amazing fire pit! And yes the adults all used the swing set as well! An amazing place to hang out with friends before and after the lake!

Excellent place to stay

Had a great time here. Host was great on communication. Place was close to lake and marina most everything we needed other than food was there. Everyone had a blast and was comfortable. Definitely will be back !!!

Excellent. Exactly what we wanted.

We were looking for a peaceful getaway to spend the week while visiting my family when we came across this little gem. It was perfect. The children loved the swings and playing in creek. We especially loved the fire pit to roast hotdogs and marshmallows. The house was clean and the beds were so comfortable, was great having WiFi, TV’s in every bedroom and living areas and outside, owners were so helpful and accommodating!! Can’t say enough about this place!! We will definitely be back again next year. It’s now our Happy Place!!

Outdoor relaxation

We come to dale hollow every spring for fishing. This property provided everything we needed. Relaxing outdoor space, fish cleaning station, grill, fire pit. We really had alot of fun out there. The inside was comfortable and a nice layout. The location is close to the marina, to town, and one of the best restaurants the Farmhouse. We would stay here again.

Great family getaway!!

We were looking for a place that would allow us to have our pups on vacation, where we could have some family time and enjoy the outdoors! This was it! Lots to do here. Kids all loved the outdoor games, fishing and hammocks. We ALL enjoyed the fire each evening. Great getaway!!

My wife is an RN and I am a landscaper and we are two adventure loving people who first came to Dale Hollow in 2015. We stayed at a campground in a tent and rented a jet ski at the local marina. While out on the lake we realized that we had finally found our happy place. We have 3 German Shepherds, and over the years we've stayed at multiple campgrounds and vrbos, all of which seemed to lack the privacy and space we needed. We have worked hard over the years to create a vacation spot with the amenities and great location of a campground, but with the privacy and space of a home.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The worst part about this property is that there's so much to do you can easily forget about Dale Hollow lake. We chose this property because its absolutely one of a kind! Nestled in the foothills of the Appalachians this house sits amongst a walnut grove along Spring Creek. The creek IS spring fed a few miles upstream and the water is crystal clear. This is one of the main creeks that feed in to Dale Hollow and the creek supports an abundance of wildlife. River otters, blue heron, turtles, crawdads, fish, bald eagles you name it they are around this creek! There is not a place on the property you cannot hear waterfalls and flowing water. The main 2 acres of the property is graveled with a giant pull through loop driveway. No boat or camper to big for this place! All of the parking you could ever need! We have a pavilion and picnic tables along the creek as well a steps to get you into it! If you walk across the smaller creek on the property there is a wooded 2 acre ISLAND for exploring! Plenty of hammocks around for your afternoon naps by the creek, or sit on the adult swing set and watch the water flow by. This property is located less than 5 miles to local restaurants and shopping.

** 2.5 hours to NASHVILLE

**30 minutes to Lake Cumberland

What makes this property unique is the resort like atmosphere. You can stay on the property all week and never get bored. There is so many things to to from playing in the creek to shooting a game of pool, outdoor cooking, cable tv, large outdoor living area, that you won't ever want to leave! There is nothing like this anywhere around!!
