This sunny, waterfront condo is ready to become your home base and perfect retreat for your next family escapade to Bethany Beach! This family-friendly condo is located within the Sea Colony resort, which features a half-mile of private beach, 12 pools (two indoor), world-class tennis, fitness centers, activities for all ages, a community shuttle, and year-round security. Sea Colony is ranked among Tennis magazine's Best U.S. Resorts and by Tennis Resorts Online as one of the finest in the world.

The open floor plan of this well-appointed condo seamlessly combines the living room, dining area, and kitchen into one space. The living room boasts gorgeous navy blue and white accents and decor, adding a coastal touch to your stay. Kick back and relax in front of the large flatscreen TV with cable, and if you are visiting during the colder months, the wood-burning fireplace will keep you all warm in the blink of an eye. The living room opens up to a waterfront deck with plenty of seating, including an outdoor dining area. The kitchen is complete with modern appliances, including a Samsung refrigerator, a double oven, a five-burner stovetop, microwave, Wolf toaster, and more! The dining table seats six and there are three extra stools at the breakfast bar.

THINGS TO KNOW
There are ongoing construction projects occurring throughout the off-season until mid-May 2024. Noise will be audible during working hours, but this vacation rental will be accessible at all times.
The Sea Colony Recreational Association requires a per person resort fee for guests ages 4 and older. This fee varies by time of year and is mandatory.
Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.
This property is managed by Vacasa Delaware LLC.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Perfect place for a weekend get away.

This place was a perfect place for a long weekend. It was myself, my wife, my wife’s parents, and my wife’s grandmother and this place fit us all perfectly! It’s in a really quiet and charming park of the sea colony neighborhood with lots to do. We were able to enjoy the sea colony beach and pool all days.

The community is very nice. The unit was not as clean as it should have been. The living room furniture was extremely uncomfortable.

Great Sea Colony house

4.5 stars This was a great rental. The house was totally updated and very, very clean. The primary bed was comfortable (we did not try the others). The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars was because there were a couple of little funky things. We thought it odd the primary bedroom did not have a dresser and three days into our stay, we realized the bed had underneath storage. It really was not apparent. There probably should have been a note. I also had to call vacasa because we could not figure out how to work the roman shades in the bedroom - and we have them in our house. Vacasa sent someone out who also had problems figuring it out, but he finally reached up under the top of the valance and manually rolled the shade up a few inches. Then we could work the shade from the bottom. It seemed the shades were pulled down too far. I was worried about breaking the shades and so probably would not have done that. Finally, there was something wrong with the tv in the primary (the sound and picture kept going in and out). The person who came out for the shade, said he did not get a work order for the tv, but would look at it. He could not get the tv to work, but said vacasa would probably send the tv guy out. We never received a notification that someone came out and it was not until the day before we left, that I tried the tv again and it seemed to work. None of these are big deals and we otherwise loved the house, but there should have been better communication with us.
