Great apartment with minor improvements needed
It was a very nice, spacious apartment for my family to stay for our vacation trip. this is the second time we rented a stay in this building. We love the location, especially with a little baby, proximity to the beach, to the boardwalk is just great. When we arrived the floors were not very clean, which was a disappointment, since my 22 month old baby stays primarily on the floor and plays with his toys. The main downside is that there is no mop or brush in the condo to make a quick clean up ourselves, which we dont mind at all, and during few days going to the beach and back the situation got even worse. My suggestion, please invest into a mop for the place. Also, the kitchen is not well stock up. there were no bowls for food prep, i had to purchase those myself, there is a full kitchen, we had to cook food for the family and there were no oven mittens to handle the hot backing pan, we had to use towels from the bathroom for that. I am not sure why the kitchen is so poorly stocked. in any other place we stayed it was a lot more utensils, bowls, containers, kitchen towels for a family to make meals and keep them in the refrigerator. In my opinion, with these small additions, this property is a great stay for a family.
Ok, now about the front desk. When we arrived our room was not ready, it was 3:30 pm, which is fine. At 4 pm i went to the front desk again to make a check in, the room was ready and the front desk was busy, one person who started our check in transferred me to another person, to finish the process, which is fine, the 2nd person had some questions on the system and was asking questions the 1st one, i have assumed he is new, and/or in training. Finally he got us all settled and handed me our keys. The next day when we went to the beach, i stopped by the front desk to get beach towels, which are included in $25 per night of resort fee you pay. The 1st person from the evening before, he behaved like a manager, asked me for the towel card, i told him that we don't have one, all we were given the night before is the room keys. He said it is impossible, that we lost it and we need to pay $10 fee for it. I told him again that we were never given one(btw, towel key is a piece of paper with hand written room number and amount of people staying) He said that it is IMPOSIBLE, his exact words I NEVER MAKE MISTAKES! is this how you treat customers? He needs to learn how to talk to customers. So unprofessional. Everyone makes mistakes!
