Ce chalet de montagne à trois niveaux mis à jour dans Big Trees Village est l'endroit idéal pour une escapade en Sierra quelle que soit la saison! Avec une cuisine bien approvisionnée, une grande salle spacieuse, une salle de jeux avec table de billard, un foyer au gaz et une grande terrasse avec barbecue, vous aurez tout ce dont vous avez besoin à la cabine de Kevko. De plus: accès invité aux installations de loisirs de Big Trees Village (des frais s'appliquent).

Chambres: La cabine de Kevko est une maison à 3 niveaux de 1950 pieds carrés qui peut accueillir jusqu'à 12 personnes dans 3 chambres plus un loft: la première avec un lit King, la seconde avec un lit Queen et la troisième avec un lit Queen et 2 lits jumeaux (un lit gigogne). Couchage supplémentaire comprend un lit superposé (2 lits jumeaux) et un futon complet dans le grenier. Cette maison a deux salles de bain complètes et une demi-salle de bain.

Commodités: Accès invité aux installations de loisirs de Big Trees Village (payant), Wi-Fi, télévision par câble, salle de jeux, table de billard, foyer au gaz, chauffage électrique, barbecue au charbon (charbon de bois non fourni), laveuse et sécheuse, lave-vaisselle, cafetière .

Great family getaway

4 generations of our family enjoyed a beautiful weekend at Kevko’s cabin. The home was clean and comfortable, with lots of spaces to hang out, play games and eat. We hiked at Big Trees, just 10 min drive away.

Spacious, comfortable and well equipped

Great house in a great location. Lots of space, great pool table and a well equipped kitchen. Beds and couches were comfortable. It was quite hot when we visited but there were several fans to help cool us down. The only negative I can think of was that the grill was a bit old and difficult to light. Would definitely recommend.

Too Hot

This house was extremely hot. The only place that was cool was the downstairs pool room, which had a strong musty, moldy smell. We ended up leaving a day early.

Late Snow Mini-Trip

Awesome stay! Our two families wanted to do a mini snow trip, but the timing dates for our two families worked out to be the end of March - not much hope for a lot of snow. That stated, we rented Kevko's Cabin - Classic Chalet in Big Trees Village. Checking in, there were just a few mini snow patches - not what we had hoped for, but realized we had to drive 20 miles east on Highway 4 to Bear Valley to see more snow. Up at Bear Valley we had more snow and had a great time cross-country skiing. Fantastic! That night in Camp Cornell, we had major thunder and lightning storms, which were a great nature treat. Even better, we also got 9 inches of snowfall that night, an even better treat! Nature aside, the cabin met all our expectations. Thanks for the great new memories.

Scammers - Be Aware!

Don’t rent from anything from Cedar Creek! They talk smoothly to sell and yell at you if you ask for what you paid for. I rented the house with swimming pool which does exist in the community but they don’t pay the membership so you cannot use. Called 4 times went there once and they treat us super bad, as if we were disturbing their peace. The even manager yelled at my pregnant wife. Please do yourself a favor and rent from someone else.

Hi Ed, We can see how it may be frustrating to know that a community you rented in has a pool available to some home owners and guests that choose to purchase that pass, but it is not listed in the amenities. Kevkos Cabin

The size of this cabin fit 6 adults and three children well. The cabin was very dirty. I spilled water on the kitchen floor; the towel used for cleanup came back very dirty. Every floor was dirty and the living room carpet was very stained. When we were cleaning up before we departed, we looked under the bunk beds to make sure we hadn't left anything and found two diapers...eew! We don't have any child in diapers so there were left by some former occupants.The shams on the king bed had stains and needed washing. The two queen bed mattresses were in such bad shape that you could not sleep on either side witout rolling towards the huge slump in the middle. If you are a migraine sufferer, avoid the living and dining room where uncovered fluorescent lights hang on beams and some of us could see the flickering continually. We tried not to turn them on, but the few table lights were so dim it was hard to see without the flourescents. I would not recommend this cabin in its current condition. Its unfortunate because the cabin could be a great place to come back to each year with just a few fairly obvious corrections. Our kids loved the hill outside the cabin and used it to sled a lot. They also loved the pool table.

Thank you for your review and in response to these issues a thorough deep cleaning has been done and the linens have been laundered. Beds seem to be an individual preference, we have actually had recent comments on how comfortable they are. The lighting is often mentioned as a plus, had we known it was an issue for you we would have sent someone over immediately with lighting better suited to your needs. We are always happy to accommodate special requests.

The cabin pictures online looked better then the cabin in person. There were stains in the carpet in the living room and bedrooms. The cabin was well stocked with the necessary kitchen items and towels. Overall a 3 star.

Amazing Mountain Cabin

Our stay was amazing! It was the first time for us in Dorrington. The place was spacious, yet cozy! I’ve never stayed at a cleaner house, the property management company clearly takes very good care of their properties. It was great for kids with a pool table and just enough snow on the ground for a sled run! Highly recommend this home! We would love to go back next year!

Mom's Family Bday

My family and I had such a wonderful time! Kevkos cabin was comfortable and spacious. Play room did have a musty smell but nothing that made our worry list. Futon cushion is definitely worn out (could stand to be replaced) but all other beds were comfortable, definitely on the firmer side. Bbq is now propane and not charcoal (very nice and easy to use). Celebrated a nice immediate family getaway with definite plans to return! Thank you.

Great location, plenty of room

Our family had a great time at the house. It was a quick 20 minute drive to Bear Valley for snowboarding. The lower level had a tv and a pool table which was great for the teens to hang out. Easy 10 minute drive to Arnold for shopping and eating if needed.

Cabin in the snow

Had a wonderful time playing in the snow and enjoying family time at this cabin. Plenty of room for the 7 of us. Kids enjoyed the pool table. No cell service for ATT customers but the wifi worked. Would stay here again.

Great place to stay. Cozy and close to the snow. Pool room was great space for the kids. Plenty of extras like body soap in the shower. Krystal was patient with all my questions.Sleds on property. Beds are comforitable. We enjoyed our stay. Will be going back.

We had a great weekend at Kevkos cabin. We've stayed there before but this is the first time there was snow, and it was a great place to play with the kids. The cabin is a comfortable family cabin with lots of room, the kitchen is well stocked and the beds are comfortable. The kids really enjoyed the cubbies under the eaves for getting away from the adults. Will return.

Mountain Retreat

My girlfriends and I found such peace and restoration at this beautiful mountain retreat. A trip to wine taste in Murphys, a wonderful walk among the redwoods and sequoias at the nearby state part, reading, playing cards...Just what the doctor ordered. Kevko's cabin was immaculate, and comfortably appointed with ample sleeping and sitting spaces. Beds were super comfortable and there were lots of "nook" spaces to find a quiet place to read away from others who wanted to visit or play cards. Will definitely return!

Girls Weekend

Great weekend at Kevko Cabin! Cabin was wonderful, very comfortable, quiet, clean and well appointed, spacious, comfortable beds, good lighting and that wonderful deck perfect place for get together's. There is game room downstairs with a pool table, wonderful for giving those kids their own space so the adults can relax upstairs. We had a great time! We will rent this cabin again soon.

Awesome place

Our family has stayed at Kevko's Cabin on two different occasions. We loved everything about the cabin. It was a warm and cozy place to call home for awhile. I have two teenage grandsons and they loved the downstairs with the pool table. I myself had not played pool in years and we all had a great time. There is plenty of space so people are not stumbling all over each other. One visit was when it was snowing and we had a great time. My grandkids made a toboggan run right next to the house so when we got cold we were able to get inside and dry off. We are all looking forward to the next time we can stay there.

Great cabin

We had a great time staying at Kevko Cabin. We were several adults and (4) children and there was plenty of room for all of us. It is a very spacious cabin with a huge pool room on the bottom floor that the kids as well as the adults took fully advantage of. The bedrooms are a good size, the beds are very comfortable and the entire house has a warm and cozy feel to it. Large dining room table with room for plenty of people to gather around for dining or playing games. Kids had a great time playing and sledding in the snow at the side of the house. All together a great house and a great trip.

The perfect cabin in the trees.

This is our third stay at the Kevko Cabin. It is a large 3 story spacious cabin with a full kitchen. The kids loved playing pool down stairs in the game room. We also loved sitting on the patio watching the squirrels in the trees during the day, and the bright starts at night. The fire at night was perfect to warm up to after playing outside on the snowy hill next to the cabin. The beds were very comfortable, and the cabin has a very relaxing, warm atmosphere. The magnificent view of the trees out the large windows makes it feel like a tree house cabin. This is the perfect place to unwind and relax, we are looking forward to returning again soon.
