This was our second time staying at Dottie’s. Walking in, I immediately remembered why I loved it so much the first time. It is cozy, meticulously clean, equipped with everything you might need and more, and just so darn cute! Dottie is the best host and goes the extra length to make sure her guests feel at home. Cozy Asheville Retreat

This was the perfect property for our family of 4. My kids loved the the large backyard, and the owner was extremely responsive and helpful! Perfect for a family getaway with a short drive to many Asheville locations.

Fun is Asheville

We enjoyed staying here so much. Dottie left good instructions and a lot of information about the area. She also left a nice bottle of wine for us to enjoy. The location was perfect, convenient to downtown, close to many areas we wanted to visit. Would definitely stay here again

A perfect Asheville homebase

I stayed here for 5 days with my friend and my dog while visiting family, hiking and enjoying Asheville restaurants. It’s convenient to everything and Dottie takes such care to stock the house with extras to make the stay more enjoyable. We loved spending time relaxing in the adorable backyard! It’s the perfect homebase for any Asheville stay.

A great house

We had an amazing stay. This house was perfect for us with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms and it was one of the cleanest houses I’ve stayed in. Dottie had everything you would need and it was very thought out with lamps in the right places, lots of towels and hooks in the bathroom. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at Dottie’s property. The house was very clean and cozy. Comfortable beds and a large fully fenced backyard for our pup. Dottie had wonderful communication and was very helpful in picking local hikes. We wish we could’ve stayed longer and will definitely look to stay with Dottie again next time we’re in town!

Perfect, relaxing holiday weekend

We had a wonderful time in Candler! The house was beautiful and exceptionally clean. The backyard with the fire pit was perfect to sit around at night and enjoy late spring evening weather. The house was stocked with everything we needed and more - the ingredients for s’mores was a nice touch! We will definitely stay here again next time we visit the Asheville area.

Cozy Home Away from Home

Dottie’s house is cozy and welcoming. It has everything you need. The backyard is spacious for outdoor eating, drinking coffee, or just to hear the birds - there’s even a bonfire pit. The location is perfect, not far from downtown. Thank you, Dottie!

Restful retreat

We loved our stay in Candler. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. Dottie made sure we had a wonderful experience. The house is located on a quiet road with close access to highways. We were minutes from all of Asheville's main attractions. After sightseeing all day, we were delighted to return to this lovely home to relax.

Wonderful Home Base!!

We couldn't have asked for a more cozy home away from home. Everything we needed was there for cooking at home, hanging out, etc. and we were regularly visited by a couple of hummingbirds. Our hostess was really on top of things for check-in, etc. and had great recommendations for a few must do things.

Definitely Cozy and Comfort

My family and I really enjoy stay here. The owner has a great two bed house with such a relax atmosphere. One of my family member enjoyed walking on the grass. Our family enjoyed sitting out on the back desk with lights. This is one of the best places we stayed on VRBO. Thanks Dottie.

Dottie's place was great! Not too far a drive to activities/town but just outside of town, making a nice retreat for peace and quiet. Great bird watching in the back yard, nice kitchen in which to meal prep and comfortable beds, just what we were looking for. Dottie was quick to respond via text, and we didn't have any issues. The gifted bottle of wine made our engagement weekend even more special and I enjoyed perusing the book collection. Highly recommend!

Sisters Getaway

Dottie’s home exceeded expectations! She thought of everything to make it comfortable for our visit! Furnished with everything plus more than we needed for our 3 nights! She left notes to explain everything, toys for the dog, lots of towels, cold water in the fridge and a bottle of wine with a thank you note when we arrived! Just perfect! Beautiful property!
