Lochloosa by Sliding Rock Cabins is a dog-friendly mountain cabin rental in the gated Walnut Mountain community near Ellijay, Georgia. Enjoy mountain views, a beautifully styled interior, and a covered hot tub. Four bedrooms across three levels accommodate up to eight guests, while a fenced dog area and no pet fees make it easy to bring your dogs along.

OUTDOOR LIVING
Settle into a rocking chair or the porch swing, take in the mountain views at sunset, and listen for nearby Turniptown Creek. Enjoy a meal at the outdoor table or cook on the gas grill. The covered terrace-level patio offers a hot tub, café table and chairs, and access to the fenced dog area. Turniptown Creek is a short walk away.

INDOORS
The open living area features leather seating, a gas log fireplace, and mountain views. The indoor dining table seats eight; outdoor dining seats six.

The equipped kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, solid-surface countertops, a gas stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, coffee grinder, cookware, dishes, glassware, utensils, and cutlery. Bring your food, beverages, and condiments.

DOGS ARE FAMILY HERE
Lochloosa welcomes up to four dogs with no pet fees, breed restrictions, or weight limits. The fenced dog area is accessed from the terrace level.

Every stay includes our complimentary Paws on the Porch™ Experience: a large dog bed, food and water bowls, treats, toys, muddy-paw towels, furniture protection blankets, and cleanup bags.

LOCATION AND COMMUNITY
Lochloosa is located in Walnut Mountain near Ellijay in the North Georgia mountains, approximately 15 minutes from downtown Ellijay and 20 minutes from Blue Ridge. Paved roads provide access through the community. Keyless self check-in is available at the cabin.

Walnut Mountain offers shared community facilities, including a swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball court, lakes, playground, and hiking trails. Facility access is subject to community rules and operating schedules.

Before arrival, guests must provide the guest names and count, number of vehicles, and vehicle identification information required by Walnut Mountain for community registration.
