My worst ever vacation experience
Yesterday, I returned from the worst rental experience of my life.
Arrived at entry gate of the Big Pass Pond, held up at the gate for 30+ minutes. Our host hadn’t sent proper paperwork to community (or any paperwork) .Enter 1st floor kitchen, rancid smell. Fridge has expired food. Moldy onions/potatoes sit in kitchen cabinets. Freezers filled w/ boxes of ancient food..Crowded fridge/freezer space means we can only use 70% of space. bathroom has black mold. bunk bed bedroom FILLED w/ black mold. Water damaged walls. Water damaged floors, so doors don't close properly. Downstairs kitchen flooded every morning. Sliding screen door broken. Hot tub has leaves, bugs, and green water. Wifi doesn’t work for first 36 hours. Host is not fluent in english. Host forgot to pay the electricity bill, power to be turned off. Host illegally rented us house. We contest quality of home and host’s behavior. Host laughs off our complaints. I call VRBO support-- they don’t help. Host accuses us of being children, (all 18+ adults), she then hangs up on me and mocks me over text.
So now I am here, having just written a 7280 character review that I had to cut into VRBO’s 1,500 character limit. Nani, if you refuse me my rightful refund, I will do anything in my power to make sure nobody rents this nightmare of a home ever again.
