Our stay was near perfect. A little hiccup occurred (not the owners fault) but the owner was quick to respond and correct the issue. We had the beach at the condo almost completely to ourselves. Its also a quick drive to Manasota/Caspersen for some good shark tooth hunting. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

Our stay at Summer Wind was absolutely wonderful. The condo is beautiful and perfectly situated by a gorgeous beach. The owners truly thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and relaxing: plenty of towels, a fully equipped kitchen, and all the little details that made it feel like home. Check-in was easy, and the owners were attentive, checking in and responding promptly whenever we had a question. Beach access was simple and convenient, and we enjoyed spending time at the clean, cool pool where the buildings also provided some welcome shade. This was such a peaceful, well-kept property. We would happily stay here again!

We had a relaxing time at The Summer Wind. The condo had everything we needed, very clean. Easy check in, no issues at all. The owners were quick to respond and very accommodating! Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay at this condo again! Thanks again!

Spring break her away

This place is so far removed from the commercial rhetoric, feels like the original low key Florida lifestyle! Beautiful condo, well equipped, the owners are very quick to respond and are great to work with. The hurricane rebuild is still going on, but I would rate this place 5 STARS, without hesitation.

Beautiful Condo Great Location

We loved our stay at The Summer Wind. Condo was perfect for 2 people. Updated and decorated nicely. Had everything we needed including towels, beach chairs, kitchen items, etc. Screened lanai was great to sit on. Beach was just a few steps away! Amazing sunsets. Found lots of shells and sharks teeth. Lots of restaurants on the Key to choose from. Owner was very responsive if we had any questions. Will definitely book here again!

Clean and comfortable

The condo was clean and very comfortable. The decor is perfectly beachy! The location is fantastic, we thoroughly enjoyed the beach, just a short walk away, and the heated pool is steps away. Having laundry inside the unit is convenient. The kitchen and bathroom are well appointed (a picture of the bathroom on the listing may be helpful.)

We enjoyed our stay at Summerwind. Jackie was a wonderful host. She was a quick responder to messages. The kitchen was well equipped. The bed and all furniture were comfortable. I enjoyed the screened in porch for my morning tea and evenings. It had a table with chairs, a lounger and electric grill. The AC worked great. There is a closet in the carport with lots of beach accessories. Chairs, umbrellas, coolers and beach towels. The pool was warm and relaxing. The beach is just steps away. Book a stay at Summer wind. You won't be disappointed.

Great complex and clean condo on the beach!

This is our second stay at this complex and first time at Summer Wind. Our owner Jacky was beyond wonderful and kept in contact checking on our needs. This condo is nicely updated and beautiful from the tiled walk in shower to the updated kitchen and living area. The storage room was stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas and other water items. The scheduled lanai was our favorite area to relax and listen to the waves. The pool is heated to a very comfortable temperature and a great place to enjoy when not on the beach. Many restaurants/bars are in walking distance or Stumpy's shuttle will take you there. This is a condo we would not hesitate to rent again in the future. The only issue if stairs are a problem for you is the numerous steps from the garage level up to the condo since there is no elevator. Otherwise this property is beautiful!
