The property itself was amazing with lots of amenities. It was more remote than I thought, which I absolutely loved! Owner was awesome and easy to work with and quick to respond. Highly recommend!

The cleanest inside home we have ever stayed especially for the size. Nice cooking pots & pans with a wonderful dining space. Lovely space to hang out with friends.

Large property, reasonable price

Our family of 30 people of all ages really enjoyed our stay. There are 11 bedrooms which worked out great. The kids loved the two gigantic game rooms with pool table, ping pong table, poker and large screen TV’s. The property is located high up a mountain so you have lots of privacy. The property is rustic but is a good bargain for so many people.

Excellent getaway

We stayed at Wesser Creek Village with our College and Youth Groups from our church and it had all space our group needed. It was a great place for our group to connect and spend much needed time together. Everything was perfect. Had enough spacious rooms for everyone, well stocked kitchen, games and activities for them to do and keep them entertained. Brian was an excellent host and took great care of us. Thank you for a great experience!

Fantastic, spacious mountain property

We were happy with our stay at the Wesser Creek Village. We loved the spacious entertaining area and open concept and that we could comfortably fit multiple families with small children in the same house. While we did not utilize the second property it was nice to have the option. We enjoyed the outdoor firepit next to the creek and the serenity of the property. I think the online description of the property is fairly accurate but we were disappointed that there were no Christmas decorations although it was stated that there would be. Overall, great property and highly recommend!

Very old and run down.

This rental was very old and dirty. The outside coming in was a dead bird in front of the door the porch was very dirty. The inside was outdated and in need of a remodel. The cost to rent this was excessive for what we received.

Unfortunately, this is a retaliatory review. Indeed, this is an old building as advertised. The listing photos were taken 3 months prior to this date of stay when the upstairs remodel was complete. Most certainly not outdated.

Hidden Solitude

Brian & Sarah described the house exactly as it was. They were very helpful in giving accurate directions to the house. As well as to the local area. Once we arrived they were able to answer any questions that came up. The 2 houses were clean and the property well kept. What surprised me was the small mountain streams on each side of the house. Where you could sit outside and enjoy the sound of the water and wildlife.Everyone enjoyed their stay there. We had a large family there and we didn’t feel as though we were on top of one another. Very spacious house. The scenery is gorgeous in that area. And the Cherokee Reservation is just a short 30 minute drive away. Gatlinburg is about an hour and a half drive over the mountain range from there. Lots of wildlife to see on that drive.

Four generations gathered for Polar Express - Our experience here was a roaring SUCCESS!!!

PERFECT in every way!! We had both the HIVE and the OLD GUN LODGE. These beautiful locations homed 26 of us plus one very exhausted Pug for 5 days. Everyone had there own space. There was tons to do both inside and out without ever getting in our vehicles. Kudos Brian & Sarah!!!

Excellent retreat location

This is an outstanding location for a small-to-medium sized group retreat. Absolutely perfect for our group. The turn off the paved road caught us a little off guard (it was at night!) but the Hive and Ol' Gun Range were amazing. Beautiful, quiet, plenty to do without going anywhere. Only two suggestions: Better darts, and a larger grill/charcoal bin would be helpful. Website info was extremely detailed and easy to access.

Thank you for your review. We understand some have never driven on a mountain road which is why we offer so much driving info on our guest information webpage that is sent upon booking. We also recommending arriving during the day the first time f a mountain road is alarming. Either way this is one of the wider mountain roads and as you say isnt alarming after the first time or two. We no longer offer darts. Unfortunately, every time we try a small number of guests ruin it for others. Thanks again.

Great spot for family reunion!

Large family of adults and kids aged 1-10. Close to Deep Creek for tubing, hiking, and splashing in water! Our crew really enjoyed the open layout of the dining, kitchen, and rec room. Plenty of space to cook a big meal and play indoors and out. One concern was the steepness and a couple rough patches on the gravel driveway. It was listed in the description, but we were still a little surprised by it. Recommend 4 wheel drive or an SUV. Thank you Brian & Sarah for a comfortable home to enjoy time with family. Looking forward to returning!

We had a great time. The house is spacious and has many amenities. In the area we played golf, went trout fishing, hiking, and embellished our Highschool adventures. Good times.
