Located in a quiet neighborhood, a wonderful backyard with lots of shade and plants to provide an Oasis in the desert. Our home is 2 bedroom with 2 bathrooms, a spacious kitchen, island, dining table and comfortable living area. Our home is decorated with local artist work of Gary Ladd. Gary has captured the many beauties of our area that you are sure to want to seek out!
Accommodations were outstanding, perfect central location for enjoying all that Arizona had to offer. Highly recommend it for anyone traveling to the area!
We could not have been more comfortable. Even though youâre in a neighborhood, the back patio is serene. And a short walk will take you to Grandview Overlook - with spectacular 50 mile views of Glen Canyon. Highly recommend.
Great home, comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood. Great location for our stay in Page, AZ. The host was excellent! We would definitely stay here again.
Great location for exploring Page. We stayed with another couple. The home was perfect. We were afraid we may not have enough propane to grill streaks, the owner was so nice and came over to provide another tank.
We stayed four nights and very much enjoyed our stay.
I would recommend "Oasis in the desert " to anyone looking for a a lovely home and a beautiful property.
Truly an Oasis in Page AZ.
This was a true oasis in the desert for us. Perfectly located, this home has everything you need for a nice rest after enjoying the area. If I could give more stars, I would. You will love this place :).
This home is beautiful, comfortable, and stocked well. It is in the perfect location. It has a beautiful garden. It has everything you need for cooking and laundry. The beds are comfortable as are the couches. It was clean and just perfect. We could not have enjoyed our stay more and hope to return one day!
We stayed with friends and the space was very comfortable to hang out on the patio and in the living room. Great location. Was nicely decorated overall. Only complaints : the fireplace didnât work, the toilet paper was really cheap and most of all, the framed murdered elk on the wall was really distasteful.
The property was amazing. Very clean & well equipped. Amy was a fantastic host. Very helpful.
Just my granddaughter & I visiting family & a few business clients. I always enjoy Lake Powell and having my own space. We will stay again.
We absolutely loved our stay in this house. It was large, well-furnished, and very comfortable. We loved spending time in the backyard under the foliage canopy, watching the birds and critters. Having a washer and dryer was a tremendous help during our long trip to Nevada/Utah/Arizona-- we were able to pack much lighter because we could do laundry in the middle of the trip. This was honestly one of the nicest Vrbo houses we've ever stayed in, and I would definitely stay here again in the future.
My sister, her spouse and I stayed at this beautiful home for a few days, after completing a mission trip. We were tired and ready to relax. This home was exactly what we needed. The air was cool, the furnishings comfortable, the beds super comfortable (but they're pretty high! Both bedrooms had a small stool to give us a boost up into them.) We especially enjoyed relaxing on the patio in the backyard, with the vine covered trellises. Quiet and peaceful... Oasis fits this home perfectly!
We stayed at this home for just a couple of days in between two other family/friend gatherings. It was a clean, comfortable home with beautiful photography throughout. We did some sightseeing and hiking, and it was nice to come back to this cool, clean place each evening. The only thing we would have liked was to have access to streaming apps on the TV for some evening relaxing. There is a DVD player, but we couldnât access streaming services to sign into our own accounts. Otherwise, a great place to stay!!
Clean and cozy with lots of really nice photos of the canyons, lake, and more, shot by the owner. I didnât realize as I booked in a hasty manner but Mr. Ladd is an accomplished photographer with several books published. The outside of the home is beautifully landscaped and even though it was too chilly to spend much time out there the leaves were a really stunning red and it was so nice to have just outside the window to look at. Perfect spot for a small group looking to take in the sights of Page, AZ. I would say that perhaps a wee bit dated in some things, but in a nice grandparents kind of way. Make sure to bring a cube or wall connector for your phone chargers as there are no USB ports.
Lastly be prepared for wildlife trophies. Itâs neat but may be a surprise to any vegetarian/vegan guests (one of our kiddos). Location is great for touring Antelope Canyon or Lake Powell. After flying in from Baltimore and then driving from Phoenix,we were all glad the drive was literally 4 minutes to meet our guide. Inside, there is an incredible Hoya(?) growing in the kitchen.
As a longtime resident of Page, I call my self a local. I came to the SW USA from the East coast and never looked back. I have run river on the Colorado River, worked on the North Rim of Grand Canyon, owned and operated Hidden Canyon Kayak on the wonderful and scenic Lake Powell! So happy to call this home!
This home is a true oasis. After a wonderful day out in the sun and water you will not be disappointed to come back and relax in the shade of the backyard with the greenery and birds. A great place to gather with friends and family.
The artwork of Gary Ladd on the inside and the backyard outside makes you feel relaxed and content! This will give you lots of ideas on your next adventures here in our area.
