Pool, Hot Tub, Games Room, Firepit...Private Patios and Views!
A little slice of old Palm Springs - midcentury modern architecture with the retro vibe that pays homage to the classic Palm Springs playground. Multiple patios with San Jacinto mountain views enclosed within a private courtyard surrounded by classic sonoran desert landscape complete with hammocks to enjoy the view.
Kidney shaped pool and hot tub offer a great place to cool off and relax. A large games room opening up through an overhead garage door off of the pool will be a hit with both adults and kids with a big-screen TV, shuffle board table, ping pong table, foosball table, bar stools and couch.
Inside, you'll enjoy separate entertaining areas, a large dining room seating 8 with views to the pool, a modern kitchen with concrete countertops and polished concrete floor and a few funky places to lounge. Three art-deco inspired bedrooms offer each guest their own place to chill - all with smart TV's. Two over-the-top tiled bathrooms with large walk-in showers complete your stay in this classic throwback.
Just a short drive from all of the restaurants and shopping downtown has to offer and surrounded by world class golf courses and hiking.

The property was exactly as it was described in the write-up. It truly had all the amenities you would need. The host was very quick to respond and very accommodating. We would highly recommend this place and will definitely come back!
This house was very fun and cute - wonderful game room, great open kitchen, and cute patio and pool. My family and I had a great time. Just would like to note for others - that the house had many maintenance issues. Hot tub was not working, outdoor furniture was run down, door handles, locks, curtains, fireplace, etc were not working or falling off.
I did contact manager and she said maintenance on many of these things was scheduled. One other note, as other reviews mentioned, this house is directly in flight path. I was trying to do remote meetings from the house and had to mute myself every 10/15 minutes for planes - they are very loud.
This was a great place to stay, short ride from Downtown and awesome pool. I just wish the hot tub was cleaner and water pressure in showers was not great. Otherwise awesome place!
Nice house with a pool and hot tub, located close to the airport and downtown Palm Springs. Great for a family of 5-6. Clean and well equipped for a very comfortable stay.
VERY authentic mid-century home to "staycation" at. Check - in was the easiest of all VRBO properties we've stayed at. Home was ready even before check-in - but due to holiday traffic and torrential rains... we arrived later. Fully stocked kitchen with double gas top-grade stoves and two giant - industrial grade refrigerator and freezer. Fun aqua and orange decor - with brand new dining room set. We brought all of our own food, and then did some extra shopping at the Albertsons 1/2 mile away. BRAND new outdoor grill for the steaks. I think we were the first to use it. Cool, fun kitchen vibe with retro small appliances. There was a large laundry set up off the kitchen that led to a door to the pool/bbq area. Great to just heat up the towels on that cool night.
Shaun is a great host. He responded to questions within 5 minutes and was always gracious and helpful. He notified us of a problem with the hot tub and adjusted the pool temperature to a warm 90 degrees for us.
The property is located in a nice, very safe neighborhood- which we enjoyed walking around while there - both day and evening. There are lots of secluded little spots on this large lot, and one of our favorite things was to sit on the patio off the living room and master bedroom that had spectacular views of San Jacinto Mt.... Watching that mountain light up every morning by the sun's rays was amazing. And the fire-pit, was warm and great to watch and relax every afternoon and evening.
Another great thing about this property is that they have converted the garage into a game room - ... with one garage door opening up to the pool and outdoor dining set up. Since we were here in the winter, we turned on the heat in the morning and evening to play; but in the afternoon - the door was open right into the pool area.
I highly recommend this property as a very family friendly location.... only about 5 minutes from the airport, 5 minutes from San Jacinto Tramway, and 10 minutes from the center of the hustle and bustle of Palm Springs.... which was nice to walk around, but we enjoyed eating our own food and relaxing at this fabulous home.
Great value, fantastic kitchen, responsive property management
Overall, this is a good house at a fair price. The kitchen is enormous and wonderful to cook in, the property manager (?owner?) is super responsive, understanding and fair. That said, just know that the house/property has seen better days and some things are a bit a run down. Youâre also under a flight path for the airport, so while not overwhelming, things can get loud at times. The lounge chairs by the pool are ripping and one of them had a completely broken back that came unattached while I was sitting in it. The grillâs handle is broken off entirely and it was a little greasy/slimyâŠthere was also a random paint can lid left on it and it looked like a small critter had walked through the lid and on the grill. The hot tub wasnât clean when we arrived and while the pool guy âcleanedâ it when he was there, it still didnât look clean enough for us to use it during our 7 day stay. The area around the hot tub had planters that had a variety of broken junk in them â broken lamps, pool chemical bottles, discarded irrigation tubing, and other random trash. Part of the game room, and the game boards were covered in a sand-like substance (possibly from the ceiling?). One of the bathroom sinks wouldnât drain. Legs on an outdoor stool were clearly bent and the stool shouldnât be used. The living room rug, while vacuumed, was dingy and gray. None of these issues on their own were a big dealâŠjust indicative that the house has been well-used and could use some updates, deep cleaning and a bit of love.
Two couples escaped the cold and rain in Seattle for the warmth and comfort of Sarah's Palm Springs home - for a 2nd time and we'll be back. The location is fantastic - short drive to all the shops and restaurants in downtown Palm Springs. The house is so fun, colorful and welcoming. We love the pool, the game room and the outdoor fire chimney. Sarah is great to communicate with. You are in the flight path, but the house is so great that we really didn't care. Can't wait to return!
We came down from Oregon looking for a warm place to relax. Sarahâs home was perfect! Well appointed, plenty of seating, pool and hot tub were terrific. Fantastic kitchen and living room area.
Would definitely come again!
The pictures don't do it justice! What a cute house with amazing attention to detail. We hardly left the property! The game room had double garage doors so people playing indoors could be in on the outdoor fun as well. We enjoyed the outdoor fire each night and the hot tub as well. Beds were comfortable. Lots of pillows - which I like! Sarah was great to work with and left thoughtful touches. The location is central to everything. It is in the flight path, but there aren't too many flights per day. We made a game of trying to read tail numbers as we were lounging by the pool. And - you are 5 minutes away from the airport. You can't beat that. Grocery and restaurants are mere minutes away. We have to plan a trip back because we didn't take advantage of the double ranges - we did stock the big Sub Zero refrigerator!
The place is setup for fun and a party. We were there during Covid so it was a small party. Place is very Pee Weeâs Playhouse which is part of the fun. Nice pool, yard and overall setup.
My husband and I booked this property for our honeymoon during COVID. We were very thankful for this property because we had our honeymoon booked at another location but they cancelled on us last minute due to COVID travel restrictions. They were available and accommodating which saved our honeymoon! When looking in the cabinets, there were some dishes that weren't completely cleaned but we think they were from a previous stay. We left the location cleaner than we found it, but I don't know if we can say that for the residents before us. We were able to utilize the chlorine jacuzzi. We enjoyed the game room because of the ping pong, table shuffleboard, and foosball. Throughout the home, light switches didn't seem to go to the lights you would think, so that took some time to figure out. A couple of drawers and cabinets weren't very neat or organized with some random stuff in them. They had large smart TVs throughout the house that were great to use. This property does not have blinds on all of their glass doors which was fine until there was an unexpected visit from a gardener and his wife? as they worked in the yard that made my husband and I feel uncomfortable. The welcome binder has some information to be updated. The property manager was extremely responsive, kind, and helpful. The property was very cool and located in a quite neighborhood, we felt safe during our stay. It is close enough to restaurants and stores, it is also doordash delivery friendly. There is minimalistic and cool decor throughout the home. Overall, it was a nice place to stay at during COVID when many places were closed!
Greeted by broken stagnant fountain outside front door with algae? floating and construction materials strewn about. Plain dirt yard not attractive at all where neighbors have creative desert landscaping.
Interior of house dirty with dog hair on couch and huge soiled dog bed in rec room.
Second bathroom had sewer smell.
Extra linens and pillows without cases were just thrown on dirty floor in closet.
Even the covered! spa had debris and dead insects in it. Pool not clean either.
No attention to detail. For example mismatched metal mugs with handles missing in cabinets. One smashed ping pong ball provided for play when all sporting goods stores closed. Windows smeared and dirty.
Was shocked and took pics to document all.
Company connected me to owner who said "you can leave if you want" and hung up. Company called back and she wouldn't respond.
Later she emailed and said if I left within an hour she would refund half. Over a week later company supervisors were surprised no refund or deposit return yet initiated.
Owner still has all of our cash and my family never stayed there! We last minute found a cabin in Idyllwild that was bare bones rustic but clean and cozy. Beware!
I told the owner please just return our money as I am not one to complain and write a bad review but she basically said to go ahead so here I stand by what's right. It's not too much to expect a stay to be as advertised--particularly when you may be paying a cleaning fee?!! and this is a time when sanitary and upkept surroundings are essential.
Perfect house for an adult family vacation. The game room was a huge hit. Location couldnât have been better. Just minutes to the airport, golf and downtown.
We had such a wonderful time at this property.
We were nervous because there were no reviews yet, but it turned out great. We would definitely come back here again!
OUTDOORS--
Great pool, Not super huge. Seemed like an appropriate size for the yard. The hot tub is in a separate area of the yard- it was great. My husband thought 2 bigger people could fit pretty comfortably. But would be a little snug for 4 adults to get in at once.
Fire Pit wasn't really an option or working while we were there. That was in the advertisement, but that wasn't available to us. Bummer.
Great space for our 2 dogs too! Thank you for being pet-friendly!
Very spacious outdoor areas all the way around the house.
MANY doors to access the outside.
INDOORS--
Bedrooms were spacious and had adequate storage. Comfortable beds, plenty of pillows & towels too.
Bathrooms were nice--some of the drains were a little slow, but all in all the bathrooms were really cool and showers were very spacious.
Laundry, several Sitting areas, etc... all included.
Decor was wonderful, super cool and very Palm Springs. Kitchen was really nice too, well stocked, and spacious.
Game room was fun, can imagine it would be great with a larger group.
LOCATION:
Quiet neighborhood. You felt privacy in the yard for sure.
We were about 10 minutes from everything we wanted to see. Easy access to a lot of cool areas of Palm Springs. Grocery store very close by. Airport runway is close, but honestly it didn't bother us at all. Sound was not bad.
We loved this property and would highly recommend it. The owners were great and very responsive. I think the property is a newer rental, so they don't have a lot of reviews yet. But we give them a thumbs up! We would return if we come back to Palm Springs again.
