We welcome renting partial weeks and long weekends during the spring and fall whenever available. This house is rented full weeks during the summer and our week runs Sat to Sat. We prefer a three-night minimum on renting any other off-season time, but please contact us before booking! And 50% off if book 4 full weeks in May or Oct!!! Also renting the rest of year "by the month" at greater discount! Inquire!

Guest will have access to everything in this cottage!
Our kitchen is small but very well equipped with everything you should need for cooking! A gas grill is also provided. All linens, towels, and extra blankets are provided. We get nice breezes on the river but we do provide small bedroom fans if ever needed and there are 4 ceiling fans in the house. Guests are welcome to use our kayaks, canoes, paddle boards and our 8 bikes. There is a large shed on the property for kayak and canoe paddles, life jackets, etc. Shed also has a croquet set, horseshoes, can jam, spike ball, bocce ball corn hole etc. for yard games. Beach umbrellas, cooler etc for the beach!

Many folks ask if the river is clean enough for swimming. The answer is yes, right in front of this house! We even have our own little (about 20 feet wide) beach in front of this house! Most of vacationers love to head to one of many ocean beaches, between 5 and 15 minutes away by car! Narragansett Pier Ocean is one of the top beaches in the state. There are fees for the beaches but we have tips and suggestions for our tenants.
My husband and I are both retired and live right in the neighborhood. However, we have been renting for 35 years and we pride ourselves with giving our guest complete privacy.
We leave this rental unlocked with the keys inside, awaiting your arrival. We stay out of sight after a quick hello unless we are needed. We can be helpful with telling folks about the area but we also leave a binder about restaurants and places to go inside the house.
We have found that the majority of our tenants appreciate that we are nearby for advice and peace of mind to handle any situations that may arise but rest assured; we value your privacy!

There is a small park at the top of our street that has a playground for kids and a full basketball court. Only 3 minute walk! Ocean beach at Narragansett Pier under 5 minutes by car! There are 3 hiking trails nearby that lead out to ocean and Narragansett Bay. We do ask our renters to drive 5mph at all times on our dead end street as we have several families with small children living nearby.

The house is located on the shoreline of Narrow River which is located in a valley between Rt 1 and Rt 1A. The river is the boundary line between the towns of Narragansett and South Kingstown. We have convenient shopping close by and many popular restaurants (Coast Guard House, Matunuck Oyster Bar etc.) just minutes away! Historic Wickford and Wakefield villages are also nearby and Newport and Jamestown just 20 minutes away. The active fishing village of Galilee is 15 minutes away and is where the popular Block Island ferry departs from, a must day trip during your stay!
