White Fence Main House on Suttons Bay Waterfront!
This classic coastal farmhouse has been restored with classic style and design with new windows in December 2020! This beach home features quality finishes and timeless designs throughout the 2022 square footage. Three covered porches and two large gazebo's along with multiple decks, extensively landscaped and manicured grounds, and unobstructed bay views from throughout the estate make this a one of a kind property. Known for its classic white and black awnings, White Fence creates a wonderful relaxing setting that enjoys over 127ft of private sandy frontage on Suttons Bay. Outdoor fire pit and beach front seating make this the ideal vacation property and Suttons Bay is the ideal northern Michigan destination year round. Guests have access to kayaks, jet ski hoist and boat hoist with dock for their private watercraft in the summer months. Hoist will hold up to a 21â boat.
The location of the property is less than 1/4 mile south of Suttons Bay, off M-22 on South Shore Dr. Walking to the many restaurants and shops in town is very easy with sidewalk access directly from the property. The Hop Lot, Hanson's Food Market, Tart Trail and other stores are all within a 1/8 mile from the property!
The Main House at White Fence boasts two large bedrooms and full bath upstairs and a queen sofa bed in the main floor living room that can serve as a semi-private bedroom. The queen bedroom also has a trundle bed with two additional twin beds. There is a third room upstairs that is technically not a bedroom but has a twin bed with private door.
There is also a dining room and living room on the main floor. In addition the jewel of this property is the fully equipped gourmet kitchen with a new Wolf 6 burner cooktop added in 2020! The family room boasts large lakeview windows with a wood fireplace for our winter guests.
This rental is only for the main house but guests are welcome to also rent out our Carriage House via listing #1172449. The Carriage House is ideal for a couple, in-laws or visitors. The Carriage house suite boasts a queen bedroom, living room suite, full bath, gas stove, two flat screen tvâs, kitchenette and separate private living quarters.
White Fence is an exclusive property that has been meticulously maintained. The grounds, private beach, seating areas indoors and out, make this an ideal retreat for adults or two adult couples. This property is only available to accommodate up to 6 guests. While we love pets, White Fence has a no pet policy however Sutton's Bay Animal Hospital will gladly board your pet while you stay.
Summer rentals are available by the week and only for the whole property at listing
#1172449. Winter rentals at the Main House have a two day minimum is required in the fall, spring and winter.

White Fence of Suttons Bay was purchased by 26 year Suttons Bay residents Greg and Shirley Hodge and their Daughter and Son in-law Mike and Hilarie Krumm. Greg and Shirley live just down the road on South Shore. Mike and his family have been coming to the area for the past 26 years and fell in love with this property when it came up for sale in 2017. We love sharing this wonderful property with our guests and hope your stay will be memorable for your families!

White Fence is a signature property in the Village of Suttons Bay. The Black and White awnings are reminiscent of a home you would find on Mackinac Island. The completely redesigned farmhouse by the previous owners is now being made available to share for those wishing a private, exclusive stay at an exquisite property. New updates include new windows which allow for great lake breezes, new TV's, new siding on the Carriage House, new gas stove, new grill, new king bedroom furniture and more.

You will not find a better location for enjoying your stay in Suttons Bay! We are located within the village limits on a dead end one lane road and are 1/8 mile from the TART trail, Hop Lot and Hansen's Shopping area. Our guest love the fact that they have a private beach right out the front door and can easily walk to town for dinner or shops. The layout of the property is designed with many sitting area's, porches, and serene water front areas.
