(A Good Life) This quaint, cozy cottage is located on the sandy shores of Lake Huron along Sand Point's finest stretch of beach with a birds eye view of Charity Island. Nested in the woods on over an acre of property, our cottage combines a beautiful beach with privacy and seclusion. The cottage itself is clean, spacious and extremely charming. You instantly feel relaxed when you are surrounded by the original knotty pine, exposed beams, vaulted ceilings, stone fireplace, warm wood floors and a large sunroom overlooking the water. It's an authentic up North cabin, but it is updated enough to afford you all of the modern amenities. And it sits on the most beautiful stretch of private, sandy beach!!
Inside you will find the cottage is nicely furnished, well- appointed and spacious enough for the whole family to enjoy ! Aside from the warm, shallow, sandy, shoreline, you will find a small woods on the property that provides privacy from the road, creates a perfect up north atmosphere and is home to several white tail deer and the occasional fox. There is a BBQ grill, two kayaks and a fire pit for awesome beach bon-fires. Did I mention the sunsets? We have the most beautiful sunsets imaginable!

Sand Point is located in Michigan's Thumb. Just a couple of hours North of metro Detroit. The area is home to 90 miles of shoreline that is dotted with quaint, small beachside towns that are perfect for exploring. Our cottage is just five miles from Caseville and the many festivals throughout the year, and is only 30 minutes from Port Austin and its famous Farmers Market and Pt Aux Barques and pure Michigan's featured turnup rock.
