The cabin is very cute and next to little stream and some woods. It's not the most updated place and the beds could be more comfortable, but it is very cozy and had all the amenities we needed. We had a wonderful time.
**Positives: The location was centralized to many attractions! Very convenient to go back to the cabin in between events. Somewhat secluded. Didn't have traffic going by the cabin. The creek running down the hill was nice!
**Negatives: We had 4 people staying 3 nights and they only left us 8 wash rags. 1 of the miniblinds was destroyed in the living room. You couldn't close it, raise it, or lower it. The couch is worn completely out. It could be 40 years old.
1 bathtub doesn't have a lever to turn on the shower. The other bathtub drains very slow. The toilets are so small, it's like sitting on a paint can. I know some people may think I'm just too picky, but how else will you know if we aren't honest with how we feel?
My husband and I went with my brother and his wife for a chance to spend some quality time together. The location of the cabin was excellent. Close to everything, but far enough away to feel the peacefulnesses of the mountains. The cabin was clean and cozy, perfect for 2 couples. My sister-in-law and I enjoyed the hot tub while the guys played pack- man. The gas fire place was a great addition.
Late check in. No problems accessing the cabin, but the concrete slab bridge spanning the creek was kind spooky at first. No guard rails.
Not sure if you'd want to test it with a loaded F450 or a similar big rig.
Everything inside was clean and in order. No interactions with staff as it wasn't needed.
No problems with the bedding or mattress. The 60 in 1 upright classic video game emulator cabinet worked fine. Beware - You can see and hear the road and duplex from the hot tub and there are other cabins far above. Plumbing, Appliances, TV and gas log all worked great. This would be a nice stay for a couple or family of 4 .
Will likely stay again during off season.
Convenient location was great, cabin itself was perfect, disappointed in overall scenery view. Need to invest in more comfortable bedding.Mattresses extremely uncomfortable. Beds , furniture, doors all squeak , arcade game and guest bdrm tv didnât work. Fantastic water pressure and hot water.
