Notre maison d'île barrière de 3 200 pieds carrés vous laissera sans voix!
Idéalement situé sur une impasse, à quelques pas de l'océan, il a un accès privé à une plage à couper le souffle, large et isolée et sans fin. Depuis cette magnifique plage de sable, vous pourrez découvrir l'émerveillement des tortues de mer géantes nichant, une grande variété d'oiseaux de mer, ou même regarder un lancement de fusée ou des parachutistes à leur atterrissage.

Notre véranda et notre grande piscine pour la nage en longueur sont un favori de tous les temps, pour prendre des siestes dans le hamac de la piscine ou le lit de repos extérieur. Il est également merveilleux pour les grillades et les beaux repas en plein air, ou tout simplement pour la détente et la conversation dans les confortables chaises pivotantes rembourrées.

Nous avons quatre chambres spacieuses, dont deux avec des lits king size et de grandes télévisions. Chacune des quatre chambres peut accueillir confortablement deux personnes chacune pour un total de huit personnes. Il y a 3 bains à l'intérieur, dont un avec un bain à remous relaxant, un jacuzzi pour deux personnes et deux douches chaudes et froides à l'extérieur, dont l'une est même fermée pour plus d'intimité.

Vos journées parfaites à la plage comprendront des kayaks et des planches de surf, des chaises de plage et des parasols, des serviettes de plage, des cerfs-volants et des jouets de plage. Il y a aussi du tennis de table et un panier de basket, Tout cela est prévu pour vous.

Prenez nos vélos de croisière à seulement un mile de distance pour explorer la charmante ville. Golf, pêche, canotage, tennis, surf et tous les sports nautiques sont disponibles en un instant. Situé à quelques minutes en voiture de Disney’s Beach Resort.

Vacation Paradise

Property is super nice, in a safe quiet location with easy access to the beach. Probably the best overall rental I’ve been in. Perfect place to relax with family at the beach, without all the crowds.

Great springbreak!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time. It was a very quiet beach and the home matched the pictures and the overall description. It was a very nice set up for our family with a great pool and easy access to the beach. We also enjoyed Vero and all the restaurants and shops. Maria was a wonderful host and communicated clearly before and during our stay.

Amazing host, safe, beach access, & fun pool

The host is the best I have ever worked with. Arriving late at night was simple. The house was in a safe area, cozy, great pool and a direct path to an amazing isolated beach. This really is a great find. We were in town for baseball at the Jackie Robinson complex which is a nice simple drive. We hated to leave. Great find!

Perfect house!

This house was absolutely amazing and perfect for 6 of us with a couple of young kids. Location, size, amenities….i cannot say enough about how great it was and how much fun we had. The pool was clean and warm, patio was huge and relaxing and the beach is steps away. This is the perfect vacation spot!

Best Vero Beach Vacation

Maria’s property and location was perfect. Located right off A1A, close by excellent restaurants, shopping and hotels. Her property was gorgeous surrounded by palms, flowers and lots of privacy. The beach was beautiful and quiet from any large crowds. We had plenty of room for our family and would recommend to all. Trip of a lifetime for us, so many great memories made.

Lovely Home Privately located steps from the ocean.

High end home tucked away conveniently located near Vero Beach. Dozens of stores and restaurants located on the island. Plenty to do on property, pool, bicycles, beach chairs, all provided. Maria is easy to work with, greeted us when we arrived, and was flexible every step of the way.

Destination Wedding

Vero beach vacation

House was great so close to the beach. Pool was very private and cleaned twice a week. Maria was wonderful to work with and any problem was fixed immediately. Definitely a winner!

Relaxation at its finest!

We had an absolutely wonderful time, and were able to relax and unwind for a week in Maria’s beautiful home. The location is perfect. Everything was thought of and provided. The pool is gorgeous, clean, and private. We have zero complaints, and loved every minute of our vacation. We will return!

Great rental house in Vero Beach

The home is in an excellent location with very short walk to the beach and a short drive to everything you need. Quiet neighbor which feels very safe. Great kitchen which is well equipped. Owner did great job having house with more than you would expect. Back yard is awesome with beautiful pool. Dog friendly with fenced backyard. Owner super responsive to any small problems that occur. Would definitively rent again.

Beautiful property

We can't say enough about this property. It was beautiful, clean and well stocked with everything. Maria was very responsive and sweet. The pool was a great addition when the beach was too hot. The beach was beautiful and relaxing. The house came stocked with beach chairs, paddle board and a canoe. There were bikes if you cared to venture for a tour of the town. We would with out a doubt recommend this place.

Wonderful house, location, and host!!!!

Our stay over Labor Day weekend in Vero Beach at Maria’s house was wonderful and relaxing. Starting from the beginning, when we first booked the house, Maria communicated well and answered all the questions we had. She even went so far as going to the house and counting all the boogie boards, beach chairs, etc., to make sure we had enough for everyone in our party (there were more than enough). She was easy to work with, and very fast to respond. When we got to the house, we quickly realized it was even nicer than in the pictures, and closer to the beach than it looks. Literally a two minute walk on a tiny path and you are on the sand, with private beach access. The location was absolutely perfect. And talk about privacy! We felt like we had the beach to ourselves the whole weekend! As for the house, it was perfect. Very clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Additionally, the outdoor space and pool was shady and a great place to wind down for the evening. The house had a warmth about it, and felt more like home than just a rental. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back, hopefully soon! Thank you for a great stay Maria!!!

Great Beach, Great House!

This property is a true gem - very comfortable, clean and convenient. I was there with my immediate family (4 adults), my 84 year old mom, my sister, and niece. We really enjoyed the common space and the pool area. The beach is about 100 yards down a paved path from the side gate, and there is a nice collection of beach chairs and umbrellas in good to excellent condition. We didn't use the kayak, paddleboard or bikes, but those are available for use. Maria took time out of her week to visit us to make sure everything was perfect. My communications via text message were answered promptly. We rent beach houses at least once a year in Vero Beach to visit with my mom and enjoy some time on the beach, and this was one of the best places we ever rented! As an aside, there was little to no seaweed in the ocean, but a lot of dried seaweed at the high tide line.

Lovely home, steps from the beach, helpful owner

Our family of 7 spent Christmas at Maria's lovely home in Indian Shores at the end of a quiet street just a short 1 minute walk to the beach.The home has wonderful gathering areas; the outdoor pool area is gorgeous. The weather was on the cool side for most of our stay, so we didn't use the pool, but we did spend time on the beach, which is lovely. The house is very comfortable; kitchen is well-equipped. We didn't use the outdoor grill, but we did enjoy breakfast outdoors on the lovely patio every morning... peaceful and serene way to start the day. Our time passed much too quickly - we didn't get to use the ping pong table, and the waves were too big for the kayaks and boogie boards, but it's great having those amenities available. We did enjoy riding the bikes up the street to the Village Shops and to the Village Beach Market - both very easy and pleasant bike rides. Having bikes is a really nice bonus. Maria was very helpful and accommodating and couldn't have been sweeter. Many thanks for the lovely tree and for helping to make our Christmas together special. Highly recommend staying at this lovely home!

Beautiful home very close to beach

Beautiful well appointed home 30 second walk to beach. So nice to have the boogie boards, beach cart and other fun things to try. Kids loved trying fresh coconuts, seeing the fig tree and we loved the plush tropical landscaping. It does make the pool a challenge to keep clean but that’s what the kids are for. Mosquitos were an issue around pool and on beach. Would be nice to have some citronella or repellents available around pool. We used spray but it didn’t seem to help. Lots of extra pillows, towels, linens. Huge washer & dryer. House beautifully decorated. Beach is super close, 30 seconds, but it’s a steep incline to walk to beach so anyone with a disability would find it quite challenging. We had a snag with the air conditioning the first night we arrived and even though it was fixed by am she still had someone come check on it. All our concerns/questions are addressed. I would suggest having pool guy come on Mondays or Saturdays since most guests come on Saturdays. The people prior to us had taken out the vacuum so by the time we arrived Friday pm, the pool was quite dirty. This way if you take out the chlorine and vacuum, you swim in the dirty pool not the incoming guests. Pool guy comes Wednesday and most guests arrive on Saturdays. Thats 4 days of relying on guests before you to take care of pool adequately . Would also suggest more useable glassware. Lots of coffee cups but not enough glasses for juice etc. would also suggest a garbage can for recycling and a set of melamine dishes so could take food out to table. Felt like we used lots of paper plates and cups so we could have drinks/food outside. Really lovely home and Maria was very kind to work with. Plenty of room for our family of 8.

Beautiful property with great location

Our family of 6 had a fantastic week. The house and grounds are stunning with easy access to the private beach as well as being conveniently located to all that Vero Beach has to offer. We had the pleasure of meeting Maria briefly…she is an excellent host who clearly takes pride in the home and grounds. Communication prior to and during our stay was also great.

Spring Getaway

The property is definitely a high end property. Very spacious for the 7 of us that stay there. The kids enjoyed the ocean being a short walk, no more than a few minutes. We also enjoyed the pool. Overall I would recommend this property for a classy getaway.

Wonderful Beach House

Great location in Vero Beach- quiet neighborhood with a path from the house right to the beach. We had 7 60+ year old women for a college reunion and the property could not have been any better. Loads of room to spread out- 2 full bathroom,1 half and 1 outdoor shower. Backyard area is like out of a magazine! Big washer and dryer. Plenty of towels and beach towels. Perfectly manicured with gorgeous flowers and palms. Lots of patio furniture with 2 hammocks. Girls loved Maria who was so helpful every step of the way. We will be back!

Location Wonderful, house was good, but could have been great.

The property needs updating and the listing needs revising to reflect changes in property. Overall, nice, but if owner would spend a little more time and money could be awesome. The location for beach and town is really perfect. Just heat the dang pool and add a little to the rent, anything less is being cheap and places the burden on the renter. Again on the cheap side, water heater is turned almost off, water throughout house is luke warm, wish the pool as we well. Kitchen not adequately stocked with appropriate cookware and utensils. While there are many extras for beach use etc in garage, most are worn out, nothing organized, happy hunting in the stacks... Personal favorite was master suite bed. Pretty sure this was picked up off the street someplace. Bed frame so bent it would not support the entire far side of the bed. Mattress lumpy, as in uphill from right to left one body roll, then plateau for one body roll, then the down hill journey as you roll over lumps towards the left. I mean really. This was mentioned in prior reviews over the last couple of years, so obviously no one cares. Also, that "outside" bath, went from ooh I love an outside shower, to fear of falling in on you and a very rusted out shower head in 10 seconds, thus leaving the shortage of full baths at this property a larger issue. Oh yea, one of the two showers inside the house is barely safe, is not safe for anyone over 60, requires about a foot drop/step down into the tub for use. Our fear was some of the guest would potentially not be able to get out of the shower as a result of mobility issues, so 6 people used one shower for 4 days. Certainly added to that thought of value for this property....not Overall not sure property is to code with enough smoke detectors. Last but not least. The enjoyment of laying in the master bed, trying to relax and not roll off the bed, while watching the room flair with the rising sun (as in not a curtain in the house), listening to the soothing sounds of most likely squirrels chewing and grinding insulation and sheet rock in the wall behind your head. Just cannot get these types of experiences any other place than VRBO. :)

Return to Paradise!

This was our second of many more stays at Surf Lane. We unfortunately picked the week that Hurricane Ian devastated Florida for our family vacation. I cannot express enough how amazing Maria was through our entire stay! She checked on us, did everything she could to keep us safe, to include sending a team of people in to prepare us for the storm. Without any request on my part, Maria graciously offered to refund a portion of our rental fees because we were hunkered down and could not enjoy the beach or the pool. I give the Surf Lane home 5 stars, and give Maria 10 stars for her kindness, grace and responsiveness. I cannot wait for our 2023 family vacation at Surf Lane.

I fell in love with Vero Beach in the 1990’s, when I brought my two young boys here from Fort Lauderdale to learn surfing. I liked Vero’s barrier island so much that I sold my medical practice and moved here. Now that the boys are grown up and on their own I love sharing the magic of my Surf Lane home with those who appreciate this very unique part of Florida as much as I.
My early years were spent in an American-staffed International school, followed by medical school, in Colombia. Though my parents were of modest means they managed to make sure all six of us were bilingual by graduation. After Medical Residency in the Panama Canal Zone U.S. Army Hospital I completed my Pediatrics training in Orlando, then practiced Pediatrics for the better part of two decades in south Florida.
I take personal pride in hosting guests at Surf Lane, and enjoy doing everything I can to make their vacations memorably wonderful.

Vero Beach’s barrier island, between the placid Indian River lagoon (inter coastal waterway) and miles of fine sandy beaches on the Atlantic ocean, is very unlike most other parts of Florida – little traffic most of the year, tasteful and carefully planned commercial development (two story limit except for two grandfathered 9 story buildings), tranquil neighborhoods, and almost no souvenir or t-shirt shops. The beach just steps from my Surf Lane home is near a lifeguard station where more than two dozen bathers may only happen during Spring Break.

My Surf Lane vacation home is at the end of a cul-de-sac in a tranquil neighborhood, one home from the ocean. It is close enough to highway A1A to be convenient, but far enough to be quiet and peaceful. The location affords instant private beach access, yet is shielded from constant wind and sea spray, and rents at more economical rates than direct ocean front homes. It is also extremely sturdy, constructed fully to hurricane Code.
