Welcome to Seagrove, an AvantStay home!

Find your place in the coastal forest at Seagrove in Manzanita, an ideal group escape thanks to its 4-bedroom main house and a 2-bedroom carriage house. Tucked into atmospheric pines with views to the sea, Seagrove features casual, family-friendly (and pet-friendly!) vibes, a roomy, wind-sheltered patio with a fire pit, and multiple indoor gathering spaces.

Unique art, curated and created by Seagrove’s artist owner, reminds you that you’re in Manzanita—a town known for its vibrant art scene. Wildlife has been known to make appearances in this forested setting, so keep an eye for deer and other locals while lounging on the decks or by the fire!

After a day of crabbing, clamming, kayaking or hiking in Manzanita’s pristine natural beauty, return to Seagrove for a group feast. Make use of two full kitchens, one in the main house and another in the guest house.

Then head out to the patio’s fire pit to toast marshmallows and share laughter and stories as the stars emerge overhead. It may feel a little like camping, but it’s way better: after the fire (and the laughter) dies down, head inside to four ultra-comfortable king-sized bedrooms, plus one full-size bedroom. Kids and teens love the bunk room.

Kitchen and Dining:
Guests in the carriage house—which connects to the main house via an elevated catwalk—will have their own kitchen, with a full-size fridge and stove, a dishwasher, a microwave, and an island with four bar stools for casual meals with an ocean view.

Sea views continue in the main house kitchen, which also features a full suite of appliances and an island with bar stool seating, as well as acres of countertops and plenty of elbow room for multiple cooks to work together. Bench-style seating in the adjacent dining area creates a cozy, restaurant-like place to dig in.

One more dinner option: a stainless steel gas grill by the fire pit, perfect for sunset burgers. While the grill-masters do their work, bring a bottle of wine to the lower deck and survey a sea view from the Adirondack chairs.

Living Spaces
Take your pick of places to gather at Seagrove. The main house living area, adjacent to the kitchen and dining area, features a cozy, double-sided fireplace and a flat-screen TV. Across the catwalk, the guest house features another lovely sitting area, which doubles as an excellent place to sneak away from the group with a good book for some alone time.

Explore the Area

Manzanita is a haven for outdoor lovers. Take big, deep breaths of fresh coastal and forest air on a hike at Oswald West State Park or Neahkahnie Mountain. Walk the 7-mile long stretch of soft sandy beach. Fish for salmon and trout in the Nehalem River. Paddle a kayak in the bay. There is plenty to love beyond the outdoors, too: fly kites with the kids on the beach, stroll Manzanita’s quaint shops or browse its art galleries. Nearby Cannon Beach offers additional opportunities for shopping, dining and more.

Home Truths:
- This home allows pets for a fee. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Home does not have AC.
- Please be aware that both Wi-Fi and cell phone coverage on the Oregon Coast can be limited and may experience interruptions due to our geographical location.
- Please note that guests do not have access to the loft.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce it. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.

We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.
