Totally Renovated Coastal Condo in Ocean Walk, Unit T-2

This 2nd floor condo (no elevator) was recently remodeled with all new flooring, cabinets, appliances, and furnishings. King bed with memory foam mattress, new linens and totally equipped kitchen. There is not a washer and dryer in the unit, but the complex has 2 laundry facilities nearby. Located in a quiet corner of the complex, the covered balcony is a pleasant spot to enjoy the outdoors. Condo is equipped with WIFI and new 2 flat screened TVs
The Ocean Walk complex offers 2 pools, tennis, pickleball, playground, Clubhouse with workout room, business office and laundry facility. The setting is enhanced by a lovely small lake with a variety of ducks and turtles. There are walking paths throughout the complex. Easy stroll to the pier village with an abundance of great restaurants and shops. This condo has received great reviews from previous guests when it was hosted by a property management company. I take personal interest in the condo. Cleanliness is very important to me as I'm sure it is to you.

Weekend Getaway for 2

This was a perfect place for our weekend getaway: convenient to town and beach (off Mallery St.), 1BR condo, tastefully redecorated with just the right touch of amenities. Ample parking, great A/C, comfortable bed. First trip to SSI in many years without kids or grandkids, whom we missed, but we loved our long weekend stay!

Perfect Couple Getaway

My husband and I stayed at this location and we couldn’t have been more pleased! The condo was so clean and decorated so cute! It was right down the street from the pier and we were able to ride our bikes everywhere from the property. The property manager has made the check in process so easy and she was very quick to respond to any questions we had. It was great to have two pools to choose from and they are well taken care of! We will definitely be using this property again in the future!

Beautiful condo

This condo is one of the nicest that we’ve stayed in. Very clean, well stocked kitchen, quiet location in the complex. Close to the tennis/pickle ball courts. Joan was very easy to contact and wonderful to talk to. We already have next vacation booked Thank you so much.

Wonderful Getaway

We had the perfect week on St. Simons Island. The Ocean Walk condo and complex were ideal for our needs. We were able to easily walk to many of our favorite destinations, relax on the balcony in the afternoon, as well as enjoy the peace & quiet in our corner of the complex. The weather was beautiful, which really allowed us to enjoy the beach & outdoor dinning that is so close by. Also, Joan was an excellent host. We made a special request, related to allergies, and she went out of her way to accommodate us. We hope to come back again soon!

Ocean Walk at St-Simons

We discovered St-Simons for the first time in April 2024 and rented Joan’s condo based on the pictures and reviews of the property. All of which were bang on and accurate. We needed a place that was dog friendly and it didn’t disappoint.We were so impressed that we booked it again this year for 3 weeks and rebooked for 4 weeks in 2026.Ocean Walk is a clean and meticulously maintained complex located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood in walking distance to the Pier village (12-15 minutes).Joan is a fantastic host who is quick to respond to any questions or concerns you might have. Should you decide to stay at this property you will no be disappointed.

Our stay was great, condo was the last one on the end of the building, only one flight of stairs, balcony looked out at another building and backyard, privacy was good. Condo had everything needed for maling meals, cleaning up etc extra trash bags/toliet paper etc. Only negative which we already knew from staying at another condo here is the hvac units are loud and kick on a lot. The condo is small so the unit is right in the middle and the air comes out hard. But for 2 people these condo sizes arw perfect. The location if the community is perfect, not too far to walk into town for meals, souveneir shopping, visiting the pier. 2 pools in the community were never too busy, and are both pretty close to the condo. Parking was easy, even had a few golf cart spaces right near the building. Wouldnt hesitate to rent here again.

Lovely Condo in St.Simons Island

Centrally located the second floor condo has all you may need. It was clean a comfortable. East Beach is a bit over a Mike away and the town center with its baby shops and restaurants is close by and walkable.If you like seafood and especially local shrimp you will love it here.

Quick stay on St. Simon’s

I'm a native of the the Golden Isles. My mother's family settled in Brunswick when she was a teenager. She met my dad during World War II when he was a Navy blimp pilot stationed at Glynco (in Brunswick). After retiring from the Navy my dad and mother got real estate licenses and managed a real estate office on Jekyll Island. Following in their footsteps, I also became a Realtor in 1979. I now live on St. Simons and work for Signature Properties Group, Inc.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I purchased T-2 Ocean Walk in 1998 when the property was converted to condominiums from previously being an apartment complex. It was rented unfurnished long term until 2019 when I decided it was time to convert it to a vacation rental property. Working with contractors, we removed almost everything except the walls - then put it all back together. If I gave a detailed description of everything that was done it would use up all the allowed characters and would be boring to most people - but I will give a few highlights:

Custom cabinetry in kitchen and bath with a slightly redesigned kitchen
All new counter tops
Shiplap siding
All new doors, hardware, trim
Removed "popcorn" ceilings
All new sub flooring and flooring
New sliding door and window
New furniture, TVs, linens, etc.

One of my hobbies is collecting sea glass - which we don't often find here any more. The aqua color has always been a favorite and I used that as my base color scheme for the condo - you will see it in the walls, backsplash and the kitchen knobs. I find that color very relaxing and surprisingly versatile. It took several months to complete the project and of course there are always hiccups that we had to figure out, but I think it all came together nicely. Let me know what you think.

The Ocean Walk complex is probably the most popular of all the non-oceanfront condo complexes on the lsland. It is in a great location and with the 2 pools, tennis/pickleball courts, playground, Clubhouse and small lake, and sidewalks throughout the complex - it has a lot to offer to the guests and owners.
