Creekside Cabin Vacation Rental

Quaint, secluded 3 bedroom cabin located within walking distance of the PA state game lands with a beautiful stream side setting. Hiking opportunities as well as fishing, hunting, golf, biking, and scenic drives near by. Located 30 minutes from Lake Raystown and 5 minutes from the Juniata River. The Mid State trail and HB&T rail trail are nearby. Nice get away for families, couples, girls/guy weekends. Nestled beside a working farm. Sleeps 7 comfortably. There is a propane grill and a fire pit.

What a wonderful vacation cabin nestled in the woods!

Loved this cabin! Will definitely come back. One of my favorite vacation homes that I have rented. Well stocked, peaceful and cozy. Was perfect for reading, resting and putting puzzles together.

Great place to relax

Such a nice place. Wether it was sitting around the firepit, or sitting on the rocking chairs on the front porch, it was a great place to sit back, relax, and just enjoy the countryside.

Perfectly Away From It All

This property was perfect for a short father/son getaway. The property is "off the beaten path" which was perfect for us. The cabin was wonderful and so nice that it seemed in its own little world. This really was a memorable stay, one I will not forget.

Weekend getaway!

Absolutely the best place for a weekend trip!!! The location was perfect and quiet! Communication with the property owner could have not been better, she answered back within minutes!!! The cabin was everything you could have wanted for a camping trip!! Our family loved this place and we plan to visit again in the fall!!!

Mountain getaway

Beautiful private cabin nestled in the woods beside a mountain stream. Perfect place to catch up with old friends or to bring the whole family. The cabin has all the comforts of home combined with the rustic charm of yesteryear. It would be a pleasure to stay here again.

Lovely little cabin in the woods

We enjoyed spending some quiet time in this cute, quiet cabin. The creek is lovely to listen to and the location is private yet close enough to restaurants and stores. It is well stocked and very clean. It is a very nice place and qe hope to visit again in the warmer months.

Perfect Getaway!

We visited with our kids who range from 15-26 and we had a wonderful! The cabin is perfectly tucked in a wooded area, but still close to the main road for quick trips to the store if needed. The cabin had every amenity needed and it is decorated beautifully! We hope to return in the future!

Perect get away

This property is amazing. Completly secluded with a nice little creek right there. The cabin was completely clean and decorated beautiful. Me and my wife book it for our anniversary weekend and we loved it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to get away. They advertise no cable but there is a tv with roku we watched a scary movie cuddled on the couch.

It was a complete dream vacation spot! The whole cabin was like a antique museum


I would love to go back again!! Nice touch to be able to get steaks from the owner!! You can even see the cows in the pasture before their on your table!! Awesome experience. Words cannot express how much I love this place

very private

we had a great relaxing weekend. the place is very private and had a nice fire pit. One thing to note is there is no oven if you plan to cook. It has a small toaster oven but that didn't quite work for the Ham we brought. Otherwise we enjoyed our weekend and will come back.

Great place

Overall it was great place to stay! We’ve been staying there for 3 years for every summer. We only had one big problem this year was a couple of porcupines to through our brake lines on our car and got in our engine, not sure what else damages they caused on the car, but we had to have it towed and get a rental car. We shoot 2 of them and the owner set a trap and caught one! Other than that we all had a wonderful time!!😄😄

The PERFECT getaway!

We enjoyed our stay so much! The photos don't do this place enough justice, we were so amazed when we got there!😍 Owner was responsive with questions (thinking there was a glitch with the listing when we first booked but no issues!) Although it was chilly with the wind (mid-march), we spent alot of time outside with a nice cozy fire & loved how the stream is right there and how peaceful the whole place is. Enough room to set up cornhole in the driveway too. Would definitely love to come back again!😊

Incredible getaway

The cabin was tucked away by itself in the woods next to a gentle stream. We loved how the cabin was decorated with antiques. Half of our trip was raining but we still enjoyed sitting on the patio listening to the pitter-patter of the rain on the tin roof. Happy we finally got to build a campfire on the last night. We checked out and enjoyed the Museum of the American Coverlet as a rainy day activity. Our last day was a beautiful winter day in the 50’s and we went up to Trough Creek State Park for a magnificent hike (Cooperas trail, to Ledge trail and ended the loop on Rhododendron trail). This adorable and comfortable cabin is definitely worth a return visit!

Great Cabin in the Woods

We selected this cabin for it's proximity to Raystown Lake. It was a perfect stay for a family of 6. Three bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, one with full size and one with twins. The furnishings/decorations were perfect for a cabin. Loved the natural wood interior. The cabin is well stocked for a stay. Even though it does not have a full-size oven, it was easy to make do with the other appliances including a cooktop, toaster oven, and microwave. Also has plenty of pots, pans, coffee maker, and cookware. There is only one bathroom, but we had not problem making it work for our weekend stay. I would note that the tub/shower is a clawfoot and does require one to be able to step into bathtub (perhaps a note for anyone with mobility issues). There is a nice porch with 4 rocking chairs and fire pit beside a babbling creek. This makes for a relaxing morning with coffee or evening by the fire. Communication, directions, and instructions were perfect. Proximity to Raystown Lake is nice, only about a 30-40 minute drive to the Marina/park. The town of Everett, only several miles away is cute with several good cafes and restaurants including the Union Hotel Restaurant for brunch. We would definitely return for another stay. Thank you!

We loved the cabin. The kids walked in and we're so excited..We were close to everything we wanted to see..The Coral Caverns are amazing. Bedford old time village was better than expected. And of course Flight 93. Ate at historic Jean Bonnet Tavern. So great. Anyway, we had a great stay. Had everything we needed. Very comfortable stay. So glad I found this great cabin on Vrbo..A big thanks to Crystal
