We enjoyed our stay so much! The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our group. The location was also beautiful, closer to the scenery but not too far from the city.
The place and views are all wonderful. The host is amazing and communicates great. We got to see a bear in the driveway. I cant say enough good things about this property and host honestly. So much to do and never enough time. P.S. Do yourself a favor and visit Jack Quinns Irish Pub and enjoy some traditional food and have a Kilkenny (Irish beer you cant find many places in the US).
Clean, comfortable, and very convenient to so many places to explore, touristy and local ( loved The Blue Moose Tavern !) We had every thing we needed to cook at âhomeâ, deck view awesome ( only 4 chairs there so take your own if more people staying) The roads getting up to it and the driveway are not for the faint of heart đ Thank you Nicole for a wonderful week visiting with Family and for the opportunity to explore Colorado!
We ran out of time. Got to see red rock State Park, Garden of the Gods, red rock Canyon, Cliff dwellers, and if trout fishing, you have to try 11 mile Canyon. There was excellent fishing, the entire length and one section of catch and release where we caught serval lunker trout! The views were outstanding and got to see lots of wildlife, including deer and a bear in the driveway!
This property worked out well for our group of 5 adults. Large bedrooms with lots of beds for a large group. The deck was good size also with beautiful views but the outside seating only accommodated 4 people. The kitchen was large as shown in the photos and was nicely stocked with just a few basic items missing but I will reach out to the property owner directly. The driveway was scary, I was glad I was t driving and wouldnât want to try it in the winter.
We enjoyed our stay at this quaint house, but we did have a few issues. The banister is extremely lose and with small children, we felt it was unsafe. There were not enough sheets for the amount of beds/pullouts. Master bath had hair on the shower walls and the downstairs bath has sliding bath/shower doors that are not on the tracks and just swing back and forth. Definitely not safe. If you want ice, bring your own ice trays. The host was nice but hard to get ahold of and very slow to reply.
We had a great stay until our car accident in Denver. After we were released from the hospital I made contact with the property owner and asked if we could stay l few more
