The condo was wonderful--panoramic views of Estero bay from the moment you walk in. Enjoyed just sitting on the couch and staring out at passing boats and birds flying by. Even saw a couple of dolphins. Condo was very clean and had the basics but if you intend to eat in, bring cooking oil, any spices you need (incl salt, pepper, sugar etc) and foil. Also helpful to bring a beach towel.

Great weekend get away

Condo was very clean and updated. Great view, lovely area, nice pool. Enjoyed the convenience and great food at Flippers next door. Would come back again!

The room was very nice. The VIEW was amazing. We are already making plans to come back ! Our daughter and son-in-law stayed in the apt next to ours and their view was just as spectacular!

Awesome stay!

Very clean and wonderful property. Great view and pool was very nice. Needs more cooking items. Like non stick pans, etc. But would return.

Lovely

Condo was clean, updated, beautiful view. Unit needed a minor repair, which they did the day we called about it. Nice size fitness center by lobby. Laundry by lobby was clean and easy to use. Would stay here again.

Great place

The place was great. Beautiful view. Close to the beach. The only problem is that there were bugs. Cockroaches. I was killing them everyday.

Beautiful condo and view!!

The condo was beautiful! Perfect size for my husband and I. The view was superb!! Watching dolphins, skiers and boaters was relaxing. The patio is tiny and seriously needs new furniture. We were afraid to sit in the chairs. Overall, a lovely place to stay with a very nice pool.

Upon arrival, the door access code did not work. The Direct TV system in the bedroom did not operate successfully. We call ed the maintenance phone number as emails had described. The response was that a repair would be completed by a repair agent would come to the unit. No maintenance personnel ever came or made any further attempt to assist us.

The View was Enough

With the pandemic going on, it was nice to get away. The view from the room and balcony was amazing. I mean, beautiful. We enjoyed reading, drinks on the balcony, and watching the dolphins. Sunrise and sunset was incredible over the bay. We ate at Flippers downstairs twice. Costly, but the food is fantastic. We had a few issues with this stay though. First, one of the two elevators was broken. The doors would open and close, but then it would just sit there. Strangely, even after front desk was notified, no sign was placed on the doors to warn guests. Second, we were told masks were mandated in Fort Myers Beach and required for guests on resort property. We thought that was a good idea, given our current situation. This was not the case at all. So, if that was the policy, it was not enforced at all. Even when we first got in the elevator, people jumped in after us without masks. We decided to use the stairs after that for the rest of our stay, just to be safe. Third, we had a bit of an issue with noise on this trip. We were on the 4th floor above the pool. We stayed Saturday through Tuesday. There was definitely a difference between the weekend feel and the weekday feel. It was crowded and noisy on Saturday. We were awaken at 4:00 a.m. by kids screaming and running in the hall. The weekday was much more subdued and relaxing. Fourth, one of the towels in the bathroom smelled like an ash tray. It was bad. We thought that was weird. Lastly, management was a bit stingy with supplies. It was enough for our stay, but usually you are stocked with more than what you need, or at least you can count on management to provide if you need more. Overall though, the view sealed the deal. We would go back. On the weekdays.

Beautiful view

The apartment is nice, modern and the view of the bayside is the best, you can see the sunset and the sunrise, the pool and the gym are maintained daily, Flippers restaurant is excellent, the food is very good, the only downside was the furniture (couch and recliner) needs to be cleaned. Other than that, we loved our standing in Lovers key Resort, definitely we will return.

Lovers Key

Terrific facility located across the street from Lovers Key State park ideal for beaching, hiking and running which we did daily. Great views w easy access rooms to the grounds and Ft Myers beach area. Excellent restaurant right next door. Only issue is not having access to a real beach on the grounds. You’ll need to go to the State Park or FMB public beaches so if you’re looking for easy beach fun out your door, this resort lacks that feature. Nice pool and hot tub are available along w a clean and well kept facility. We really enjoyed our week there and would do it again

Bugs.

Let me start by saying the view was great, and so was the location, but the condo had roaches and was in need of a thorough cleaning when we arrived. Which is exactly what we did. It was also missing many kitchen items, too many to list. I had to buy my own coffee cup. Furniture was dingy. The management team who was our point of contact was completely useless. When we reached out to them we were told they would address our concerns and nothing was done. Would not go back.

Pristine Paradise

We have been coming to Lover’s Key Resort for nearly 15 years, but this was our first stay in this particular unit. When we walked in, everything was pristinely clean and the view from the floor to ceiling windows was absolutely stunning. We had one issue that was promptly and attentively addressed by Distinctive Beach Rentals. We Love everything about this property and will be returning very soon!

Worth the Views Alone

We had a wonderful time staying in unit 404 with the floor to ceiling windows! They brought in all the natural beauty that is South Florida! We will definately be back soon and for a longer time!

The beauty & the roaches

The condo was absolutely beautiful but there were roaches galore! We called the property manager on Friday and they sent someone the next afternoon to spray for the roaches and the next morning there was even more! When we got back home we immediately washed our things and left the bags outside to be on the safe side.

Water views for miles

The condo is gorgeous, and you never get tired of the views. The decor is coastal chic, but could use an upholstery cleaning as it appears some guests have unfortunately stained the owner’s beautiful furniture. Honestly, though, it was very minor, and in no way detracted from our stay, and the view was a show stopper. We did encounter a few roaches, but this is Florida, and that happens here. There’s an amazing restaurant directly next door. We highly recommend it, and the food is amazing. The owners have provided beach chairs, and all items you need to enjoy the beach, and the condo is lovely and comfortable. Did I mention that the floor to ceiling water views are jaw dropping?
