The houseâs proximity to the resort amenities and its cleanliness were positives. However, our overall experience was disappointing. We booked this property specifically for the heated pool, but communication with the host was consistently untimely and unhelpful. Despite our request, the pool was never heated (it looks like the heater broke but the host never confirmed). Additionally, the host asked us to pay via Venmo or Zelle instead of through VRBO for the pool heating prior to our stay, which we declined as it felt suspicious.While the house was comfortable for our group, the lack of clear communication and failure to provide the amenities we paid for left us feeling misled. Not all arcade games were functional, we discovered mold in the AC unit, and one of the beds broke during use due to an improperly installed frame. The delayed responses became so discouraging that we stopped attempting to inform the host during our stay. Even after sharing our feedback with both the host and VRBO post-stay, there was no follow-up from the host.Given these issues, Iâm giving the property 3 stars.
