What makes Ocean Marsh so unique is how it is a secluded tropical forest on Harbor Island. You get the best of all worlds: privacy, serenity, amazing views and lush tropical landscape all around you.
About the house - it has a reverse floor plan. On the bottom level, you’ll find a bonus room that includes a queen sleeper sofa with a screened-in porch, bathroom and stall shower. Outside the house, you’ll find a two-stall car port and a small fenced in courtyard with stair access to the upper deck. In addition, there is an outdoor shower and picnic table for lunch with a view. We have also provided a GOLF CART for your personal use + FREE WIFI
There are 3 bedrooms on the second floor, one of which is a luxurious master suite with king bed, soaking tub and walk-in shower with rain faucets. The other two bedrooms on this floor have queen beds and in-suite bathrooms. In the middle of the floor plan is a living area with fireplace for enjoying the views on the deck with screened in porch. A laundry room with washer and dryer complete the second floor.
On the third floor, you’ll find a cozy reading nook plus a central area for enjoying the views or hanging out. The upgraded chef’s kitchen as well as a dining area is on the third floor as well. You’ll find another deck for enjoying the spectacular views. One of the coolest rooms in the house is on the fourth floor. Modeled after a ship's watch is the 4th bedroom where there are two twin beds. Simply enjoy taking a nap, reading a book or looking out at the wonderful views from this unique room.
The booking fee includes one (1) car pass for one (1) week. Additional car passes are $80 each and we do require a check to be mailed to us prior to your stay. If you are staying longer than one (1) week, there is an additional charge to be determined by the length of your stay.
Nearby Attractions: Restaurants within two miles of Harbor Island, Johnson Creek Tavern offers live entertainment on weekends, in and out dining, and The Shrimp Shack has been featured several times in Southern Living Magazine. Many waterfront dining choices in Beaufort, along with antique shops, carriage rides, parks, water parks, movie theaters and much more.

Fripp Island offers Golf on their two golf courses along the Ocean, Charleston is only 80 miles from Harbor, Savannah is only 60 miles away, and Hilton Head is about 45 miles away. Water activities include kayak rentals, ocean and marsh tours from Kayak Farm, ACE Basin ecological and dolphin tours, boat charters, horseback riding and much more. You can rent Kayaks and additional bikes from Barefoot Bubba's right outside the Island gate. Bicycles can also be rented on the island.
