Summary:
This classic a-frame home with a recent addition is conveniently located with only a 5 minute drive to Mount Snow and a 10-minute drive to downtown Wilmington. You will enjoy the open floorplan main living area with a wood-burning stove! There's also no shortage of room to fit your whole group with an additional family room, and 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
The Space:
This home has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, there's no shortage of room to fit everyone comfortably. A bunk bed room with plenty of space for kids, every bed is supplied with fresh linens, and the bathrooms are stocked with towels and paper products, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.
There are two two family rooms, hang out together or send the kids off to the TV room to watch a movie or enjoy the x-box with a variety of games. The kitchen is equipped with all the pots, pans, utensils, dishes etc you could need to prepare meals. WiFi throughout the home if you need to stay connected or get some work done while you're enjoying your stay. 2 of the upstairs bedrooms have open ceilings, so they are not completely enclosed.
Please be advised that we do consider security for our guests safety as well as for the sake of our property, as such there are outdoor cameras installed for these reasons. This also allows us to monitor the number of people entering the house as well as the number of cars parked on our private road. In addition to trying to be good hosts for you we also take very seriously our obligation to be good neighbors to the other property owners on our street.
Maximum occupancy of 10 people. Cleaning fee & pet fee for those staying with pets will be charged in addition to rental fee ($150). Please advise if you are bringing a dog.
STRICT NO SMOKING rule in the house. A fee of $250 will be charged for smoking inside the house. We are serious about this and have zero tolerance for smoking inside the house.
** During winter months 4WD or AWD is strongly suggested **
The home is located on a private road and we do have a top notch plow contractor, but the gravel road can get a bit slick in the winter months.
Other Things to Note:
- Primary renter must be at least 25 years of age.
- Primary guest will be required to execute a rental agreement within 48 hours of booking the property or the reservation will be subject to cancellation. If you enter the property without signing the rental agreement, you concurrently agree to all terms of the rental agreement upon arrival at the Property grounds.
-During the winter season, you can expect snowy conditions, icy roads, and occasional snowstorms. An All-Wheel Drive (AWD) or Four-Wheel Drive (4WD) vehicle is required to book this property. Please exercise extra caution when driving and ensure your vehicle is adequately prepared for snowy conditions.
-Please be aware that inclement weather may lead to power outages or internet disruptions. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds for circumstances beyond our control, such as power or internet loss.
-We are unable to make any exceptions from our cancellation policy. We recommend that you explore traveler's insurance as a means to safeguard your travel plans.
-Damage waiver The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to a limited amount, as specified in your rental contract, for Property damage (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
