This gorgeous direct lakefront private residence is a completely remodeled multi-level home featuring a gourmet kitchen with Subzero/Viking appliances, all new cabinetry and granite countertops. The half bar kitchen stool seating opens into the large dining area with seating for10+ as well as the expansive 2X HEIGHT GREAT ROOM with exposed wood beams, stone surrounded gas fireplace and couch/lounging area all framed by the WALL OF WINDOWS displaying gorgeous UNOBSTRUCTED 'DOWN THE LAKE' VIEWS OF LAKE BOMOSEEN!

Enjoy morning coffee and afternoon naps in the charming entertainers loft. Eat and entertain on the OVERSIZED LAKESIDE DECK that features a large round table, multiple lounge chairs and outdoor shower.

The beautiful and cozy lower level contains a large family room with oversized furniture, 65” UHD TV with surround sound and is completed by a beautiful full bathroom with heated floors! Access to the properties LAUNDRY ROOM and 2nd refrigerator is located off of the lower level entertainment room.

WATER: The water in front of the house is SAND BOTTOM! Easy grade allows you to walk out for 100+ yards! No weeds, no rocks!


LOT AND PARKING: Large level lot on an established and very well maintained private road. The VERY LARGE flat driveway features a basketball hoop and room for 4+ vehicles. Very wide and plenty long enough to fit boat trailers also. EV Charger (Level 2 Tesla) located on the exterior of the house next to the driveway! Lakeside there is a large gentle sloping lawn that leads to the lake.


DOCK: Park your boat right in front of the house at our private dock. Water is plenty deep enough to dock your boat.


STREET: Only accessed by the 15-20 homes that are on that shore of the lake. Wonderful private area for quiet walks and strolls through the forested area across the street. Many forest hiking paths are accessible directly off of our street.


BEDROOM #1: The large bedroom #1 suite with HW floors and exposed beamed ceiling has 1 KING bed, full bathroom and direct views onto the lake.


BEDROOM #2: The oversized bedroom #2 features TWO queen beds and a private half bath. Similar size to a basic hotel room, there is plenty of additional floor space for an air bed or use of an included (2 total avail) single stow away cot, if needed. Also access to the shared full bathroom with glass shower enclosure.


BEDROOM #3: The very spacious bedroom #3 has 1 QUEEN bed and 1 SINGLE bed. There is also plenty of additional floor space for an air bed or use of an included (2 total) single stow away cot, if needed.


EXTRAS BEDS: There are TWO roll away twin beds that can easily fit into any of the 3 bedrooms.


AIR CONDITIONING:: Each bedroom has a built in split system AC! The common main living room also has a large built in split system AC! Lower level is below ground and stays cool all summer and also has two automatic dehumidifiers!


HEATING: Two furnaces provide plenty of heat to all levels of this house on demand!


EASY ACCESS: Best location on the lake! House is centrally located just 5 minutes off of US route 4 and VT route 30 as well as under 5 minutes on local streets to get to all local shopping centers and restaurants.


SUMMERTIME VISITORS! The shoreline has SAND BOTTOM water that stretches across the entire shoreline and allows you to walk out into the lake for 100+ yards! NO WEEDS! NO ROCKS! Just very kid and adult friendly swimming! Bring your boat (*) or rent one from Woodards Marina on the lake. There is also a kayak and paddleboard available for your use. Lake Bomoseen has many local and lakeside dining options! BIKE AND HIKE around the neighborhood and on the well worn forest trails that surround the house.


WINTERTIME VISITORS! Amazing winter views across the lake! 35 minutes to PICO and 40 minutes to KILLINGTON! The local SNOWMOBILE TRAILS are accessible at the end of our street! The trails and the frozen lake are also perfect for snowshoeing, hiking or cross country skiing. Ice skate and/or ICE FISH right out front of the house on the lake!


SPRING AND FALL VISITORS: Dock gets installed in mid May each year and comes out mid October. No matter if you want to get a head start on the nice springtime weather or want to enjoy the beautiful FALL FOLIAGE VIEWS across the lake and all through Vermont, this house will not disappoint! MOUNTAIN BIKING and general hiking trails are accessible at the end of our street.


RENTALS: This property typically has a 1 week minimum stay for the summertime months and 3 night minimum stay for the remaining 3 seasons. Discounts available for longer stays (non-summer months only). The calendar and rates are updated in real time and reflect current availability!

Although I currently live just outside Boston and am originally from upstate New York, I have a very strong love for, and connection to, the state of Vermont. Both my wife and I graduated from UVM along with some of our very closest friends to this day. With my wife being a native of Vermont (10 min from Lake Bomoseen), we are still lucky enough to have many dear friends and family to come visit as often as our busy work and parenting lives allow. We have been vacationing on Lake Bomoseen for the past 10+ years with our three very active and sports oriented children and absolutely love it.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The size and feel of the lake, it's clean water, beautiful views, year round enjoyment and wonderful residents just feel like they are the best of what Vermont has to offer. My father and brother in law, who live 10 minutes away from the lake, own a landscaping business that takes care of a large amount of the homes on the lake. They took care of the house for the previous owner and also considered him a very close friend. With many local and out of town residents considering Abatiell Road and the 'sand bar' area the top location on the lake, when the previous owner decided it was time for him to sell, it was an opportunity that we just could not pass up.

* Oversized lakeside porch for early morning coffee, entertaining outdoor meals and evening beverages.
* Fully remodeled but also keeps the proper lakeside VT charm.
* The lake bottom is SAND. No weeds. No rocks. Just SAND. You can walk out 100 yards and it's still sand. Amazing!
* "Down the lake' view looking directly North. Tons of sunlight but no need to fight to squint directly into the sun at any point during the day
* Flat lot with very gently sloping grassy area leading to the lake. Most lakeside homes are built into the side of a steep hill. Very easy in/out access.
* Quiet street with almost no traffic. If you don't in one of the homes on the street, there's no need to go on the street. Perfect for riding bikes and hikes!
* The house is less than 5 minutes to all the best restaurants, grocery stores and shops the area has to offer. You can even walk! The further away you get from our house, the more time it takes you to access those amenities. Some lakeside homes are 20-30 min away from the closest grocery store.
