Roxy Ridge is a very unique cabin development that boast incredible National Forest and Lake Views within walking distance to Horsehead Lake and the newly developed Horsehead Lake Lodge and Event Center. Roxy Ridge 3, the third cabin in the development contains a full kitchen that overlooks the open living room and balcony. The unit has one bedroom with king bed, one queen sleeper sofa and full bathroom with jacuzzi tub. The balcony and look out tower will take your breath with the surrounding nature and tree top feel of it all.

Very cool getaway. Amazing views, neat and unique experience. Cabins are clean and the AC runs strong in the heat of the summer!

Very well thoughtout design. Our children came to visit for a family lunch and there was plenty of room to eat, visit and relax. The shade allowed us to take family strolls to view the area. The peoperties are secluded yet just a short drive to interstate. We explored the dirt roads up and around the lake and even kayaked acrossed to the recreation area. Would love to rent all 3 for a family weekend.

A must stay!

Everything was as described and looked like in the pictures! Beautiful! The bathtub was a plus! Beautiful outdoor features on each level! So relaxing! Allowing us to bring our two dogs was a huge plus! Can't wait to return!

Peaceful elegant cabin

Modern elegant cabin in a peaceful setting. Able to get away for a few days with the dogs and relax in nature. Cabin had everything we wanted and more!

Beautiful views

The property is great with a great view. My only complaint was about the lights. It would have been nice to have a reading lamp in the bedroom and the lights in the main room are so bright that it feels like a spotlight. Having a dimmer would really make things more pleasant.

Fall Getaway

We really enjoyed the cabin and the tree stand patio, everything was nice and clean, spent our mornings and evenings enjoying the view. We did allot of hiking at state parks in the area.

Perfect Getaway

Cabin 3 had all the privacy we needed for a weekend away. We were staying for a wedding at Horsehead Lake Lodge and the whole weekend was spectacular. I was able to check in early which is always a perk. And drinking coffee as the sun comes up around you in the treehouse as the sun came up each morning was perfection. Would love to stay here again.

Perfectly private and not too far

We loved this little space nestled up in the trees. The house is extremely well equipped and very nicely furnished and decorated. It’s a truly perfect couple’s getaway and I’d recommend it in a heartbeat. We were there for the 4th of July and we sat in the treetop perch watching nearly a dozen different home fireworks show with a view that stretched all the way to the horizon. Just beautiful!

Amazing yet again

This was our second year in a row to come to drive the roads, view the mountains and the fall foliage. The colors were not as vibrant due to lack of rain, but this rental is amazing as are the roads to drive. Love this area and love this unit. The Internet was quite sporadic and Robbie had a man come out to put a new receiver in that fixed the issue in less than a half hour. Great service.

This place was AMAZING! It was secluded and cozy. We went there to get away from the world and it was spot on. Beautiful view and well thought out and stocked place. Super clean. The decks felt like hanging out in treehouse.

Spectacular!

The cabin was awesome in all aspects, aesthetics, cleanliness, amenities, and setting. We enjoyed visiting with Robbie, the owner and he made us feel welcome (even brought us fresh veggies from his garden). The vista views from the crow's nest were spectacular and there are 4 levels of outdoor seating areas to choose from. Johnson County is quaint. Would definitely recommend - we traveled from Florida and loved every minute!

AWESOME and AMAZING

The property has the best amenities from ANY vbro we have stayed. Coffee pot, knives, pots and pans, linens all top quality. The stay is quite, relaxing and you can see for miles. Amazing fire place, grill and so much more. It's a property I go back to for sure and bring friends for the other cabins. Only thing I wish, was that the water was more accessible so we could have went kayaking and fishing..

Perfect mix of fun and relaxation!

I reserved this cabin for my parents anniversary (age 50-52) and they absolutely loved it! They said it was a perfect mix of fun and relaxation. The walk to the dock is steep, so they recommend a 4w drive or to just be mentally/physically prepared for that. They were able to walk it with minimal issues. Lots and lots of fish and gorgeous views!! The host is amazing with great communication and keeps the cleaniness of the cabins top‐notch!

The Great Escape

Sept 1st of 2018, we experienced the loss of a child. Sept the 1st is also my wife's birthday, so each year I try and find a place that we can get a way because her birthdays are not really happy anymore, so we try and make them good. This place allowed her to have a Great birthday. A time of solace in a serine atmosphere, this place was amazing. Truly everything about this place was fantastic, and the attention to detail is seen in every area of this cabin and property.

Fantastic! Wow!

The view is up there with anything we have seen in visiting 50+ countries. The cabin design and finishings are top notch. Owner offered to take us up the hill if our C8 Corvette could not make it but I did not even have to use the front end lift to raise it 2". Another reviewer said should have a 4x4. Not when we were here. A few things to be aware of but far outweighed by the setting. 1. Internet can be slow at times. 2. Putting TP in a bag so as not to flush it just adds to the rustic setting. 3. Not the owners issue, but Waze is iffy in this area. I had it set to prevent unpaved roads and several times on day trips it routed me on gravel- once for about 15 miles. Fortunately my Vette is a daily driver. Bottom line: I would plan our next trip to the Ozarks around this cabin's availability.

Mine and my wife's families have lived in this community for generations, we have owned this property for 15 years. We decided to build cabins so others could enjoy this area also. We enjoy fishing in Horsehead Lake and the Arkansas and Mulberry Rivers, hunting and ATV riding in the mountains or just driving around enjoying the scenery.

We are only 5 miles from I-40, yet secluded and private. You can ATV, Jeep, hike or bike from our property into the Ozark National Forest. We have private dock within walking distance and another one across the lake.
