Filled with natural light the home features a chefs kitchen and and open dining room with views that allow for effortless entertaining. Quartz countertops, stainless appliances, counter seating and wine storage. Dining Room with French doors that open to dining terrace with lake, fairway and mountain views. Master Suite with views, access to terrace and bath with custom tile work. Second Master Suite includes an office or retreat area and overlooks the pool terrace. Terrace overlooking the lake, mountains and golf course features a fire pit, BBQ area and space to enjoy the sunset views. Home is solar equipped. Former home of a famed LPGA pro, this special compound is for those looking for a truly custom retreat. The 4th bedroom is a casita that is currently mostly empty and can serve as open space for Yoga, Ballet, or other workout purpose.
* this home is not a short term rental. The owner uses this home a portion of the season, when they are not using it they rent it seasonally furnished for not less than 28 consecutive calendar days.
Other things to note:
Mission Hills Country Club is a private club; like any other private club, membership does not attach to the house, but to membership. I do not know of any private club in the country( maybe there is one) where renting a house gives access to a private club. The Mission Hills club is part of Club Corps.
If you are a club corps member, one can play 2 times a month. Maybe there are short-term memberships to the CC, I recommend calling Mission Hills CC directly as options change often.
The pool heat is on-demand, meaning we do not heat it when it's not in use or when no guests are staying. It heats up about 3 degrees per hour and it can get down into the 60's during the winter so if you want it heated upon your arrival please keep that in mind and notify us. October Through end of May the charge is $125/day if pool heating is paid upfront for every day of the stay or $175/day if not. Spa only heating is $35/day if prepaid for the entire stay and $50/day if not. Most resorts heat pools into the low 80's we allow guests that pay for pool heat to heat pool to the mid-80's and spas as high as they like. Please keep in mind, mid-winter, larger pools will have a hard time even reaching mid-80's, pool temperature is not guaranteed, however, generally low to mid 80's is common, even mid-winter.
During the colder months the pool and spa cannot be efficiently heated at the same time. It's best to heat the pool to desired temp, then start heating spa about 45 minutes prior to use. If you elect to pay for pool heat, you can message us 24 hours prior to arrival to start heating the pool. We recommend that you download the app and control the temperature yourself upon arrival.
You will receive a $500 utility credit for gas and electricity, and you will be responsible for gas and electricity bills over $500. Payment is due within 2 weeks of departure. If you want to heat the pool/spa, you must mail a $2,000 check at least 2 weeks prior to your stay or wire $2,000 prior to using the pool or spa.
Rentspree application required and approved based on the report by the owner.
Pets are subject to owner approval and may or may not be approved. If they are approved a pet fee applies. Please inquire with breed, age, and weight of your pet prior to booking. If your pet is approved, it can not be left unattended in the unit. No Cats Allowed.
Absolutely no smoking. Smoking fines start at $500
If you smoke fine is $500, if smoking bothers other guests you will be responsible for any compensation to other guests.
The desert has extreme temperatures, including sustained daytime temperatures of over 100 degrees. With such high temperatures, ACs can struggle to cool homes by more than 25 degrees. Boatman bugs are common in pools with biologically safe water. If food is left out, ants will come, and if doors are left open, flies will come.
These are a part of life in the desert and not grounds for a refund.
We use the top pest control, pool cleaners, and home cleaners in the area. Please contact us if you have an issue, and we will do our best to assist.
