CLEAN & COMFORTABLE condo located at the summit area of Snowshoe Resort (North side of mountain). 3 minute walk to ski slopes (conditions permitting), short bike ride to bike park. 1/2 mile from Snowshoe Village. Hiking trails right outside your door.

Walk to the Powderidge lift or take the FREE SHUTTLE (schedule & availability varies by season) anywhere else on the mountain. Enjoy the Snowshoe basin, Western Territory, Silver Creek, Shavers Lake, and shopping/dining/entertainment in the Village. Miles of hiking trails and world-class mountain biking are right in your backyard.

FREE FIREWOOD provided by HOA during ski season, with starters and lighter provided by your host.

Bike storage on private back deck. Bring your own lock. BIKE WASH station next to parking lot. Clean up towels are provided in the mudroom (entryway).

PLEASE REVIEW AND AGREE TO ABIDE BY OUR HOUSE RULES. VIOLATORS WILL BE SUBJECT TO IMMEDIATE EVICTION WITHOUT REFUND AND FORFEITURE OF THEIR SECURITY DEPOSIT.

Our HOA operates security cameras all around the building grounds and our property manager lives in a cottage across from the building. We have a security camera on the back porch.

We live at Snowshoe year-round and can easily be reached via VRBO messaging to answer questions or provide information about the condo, resort, etc. Any issues with your lodging will be addressed promptly, often by your hosts personally.

Cell calls and texting can be delayed but we answer asap. Use VRBO messaging for fastest response.

Wonderful Winter Wonderland!

It was an amazing stay! We could not have asked for more. Wish we could have stayed longer. The beds were comfortable and kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the CD collection.

Amazing stay at an amazing property

The place was perfect for our little get away to snowshoe! Super clean and the owners used the space extremely well. All appliances and cookware were in perfect condition and it supplied us when more than we needed. We will defiantly be making this a place we come to once a year

Perfect Location

Chris’s property was the perfect apartment for my group of 4 adults. It was less than a 5 minute walk to the nearest lift and only a minute or so from the shuttle stop. If we ever come back to the mountain we would stay here again!

Overall nice and clean. Only drawbacks, first floor with no view and .8 mile away from heart of resort. We preferred to walk and the trails are well light and safe.

Cozy and clean condo - great location great place!

This is a wonderful, comfy condo that seems bigger than it is. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinners and we loved drinking coffee on the back porch with the deer in the am. Bed was really comfortable and we heard no noise above us. The location is perfect - less than 10 min walk to the village with bike trails nearby (and ski slopes/lift across the street). The condo was very, very clean and well kept. All around great place, we will be staying here again.

Great property close to Powderidge slope. Just across the street. Shuttle stop to the village just a few steps away. Very clean, all amenities necessary. The highlight of our trip was the daily visitors right in the backyard (deer). My daughters had a blast. Hosts were very attentive. Thanks so much!

Great Getaway

Chris and Kate have a charming little cabin stocked with any and everything you may need! Both the shuttle stop and Powderidge lift were a short walk away. We woke up to deer in the backyard which made for an idyllic morning. The only downside was being able to hear every step and voice from the upstairs unit as the other reviewers have noted.

Snowshoe ski weekend

The unit was perfect for my two boys and I to enjoy a three day ski vacation. Walkable to the lifts, plenty of parking and thoughtful accommodations from the host, such as duraflame Firestarter logs, plenty of towels and cooking utensils. Cons included detectable noise from the unit above us, limited hot water for showers and a pipe that made consistent noise during the night. For those without babies/young children/light sleepers who are up for lots of skiing I would recommend this unit.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Our spacious studio at Ridgewood is about 200 yards from the Powderidge lift. It's on the ground floor, just to the left of the main staircase, and has a private front entrance and private, walk-out back deck. There's a mudroom with convenient storage for all your gear, a well-equipped kitchen with full-size refrigerator, a stylish, newly renovated bathroom with full-size washer and dryer, two TVs, large counter island with seating for four, a log fireplace with FREE firewood, a queen bed and queen sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress.

Snowshoe's FREE SHUTTLE will pick you up at the station in front of the parking lot and take you anywhere on the mountain. Visit the Village (dining, shopping, spa services), ski the Basin, Western Territory, and Silver Creek (night skiing, tubing), swim at Split Rock Pools (hot tubs, suana, heated indoor/outdoor pool) or Shavers Lake, and more.

Mountain bikers and hikers will enjoy miles of challenging cross-country or downhill trails--and a scenic lift ride back up to the top! "The Fingers" trail can be found right next to the Ridgewood building. Need additional information or trail suggestions? Just ask.
