Newly renovated 2022!!

Gulf 416--Completely updated gulf side condo that sleeps 10. This stunning two bedroom plus bunk room corner beach front unit is unlike many others on Okaloosa Island. Located directly on the Gulf, this unit is a two bedroom, two bath unit with very unique features and all of the things you will need to feel at home.

The Master Bedroom with a king bed is facing the Gulf of Mexico, and also has direct balcony access. Attached to the Master is the private bathroom with a spacious walk in closet. There is also a chair that folds out into a sleeper for one. Enjoy lounging with a 30" flat screen..

Guest bedroom and bunk room are decorated with the beach and relaxation in mind to make you forget all about the worries of everyday life! Queen bedroom and Bunk room both have flat screen tv/dvd players with a spacious guest bathroom. Bunk room has been updated to a full bed on bottom and twin on top for additional sleeping options. Living room sofa has a sleeper sofa with all linens included.

Cooking is enjoyed in this very open kitchen, that is fully equipped and enhanced with views of the gulf. We've got you covered with everything you will need to prepare anything from a gourmet meal to a picnic lunch. If you're a coffee drinker, bring your K-cups because we have a Keurig for you as well as a standard coffee maker.

Everything you need is really at your fingertips:
*Laundry Room is located in the kitchen in it's own doored space.
*Seating for five dining table and the breakfast bar, in addition to seating for six on the patio.
*A comfortable Living Room with a 50 inch smart TV with internet for your entertainment.

What else could you think of that doesn't make this the ultimate TWO BEDROOM on the Gulf?? Guests of DestinWest have access to the beach or bay side. Bay side is the host of the 700 foot lazy river, several pools, hot tubs and a brand new marina.
The minimum acceptable ratio of occupants in our rental units is one (1) person over the age of 25 for every four (4) persons under the age of 25 occupying the rental property except during Spring Break. During Spring Break, the minimum acceptable ratio is one (1) person over the age of 25 for every two (2) persons under the age of 25.

Family vacation

We enjoyed our stay. The wagon and beach toys were an added bonus as we didn’t have room to bring ours! The beach was fantastic though more crowded than I prefer. Just know this is a larger complex than typical of fort Walton so the beach is more crowded.

Beautiful unit and location

Well-appointed unit overlooking the pool and gulf. Love the bridge to the bay for easy access to the other pool and lazy river.

Beautiful condo

Very clean. TVs didn’t all work and could not be fixed until the last day. But the view and cleanliness made up for that. Staff was very responsive and friendly. Perfect weather and a great stay.

Great Location

We stayed in this same resort building a year ago and after this time, I believe this will be our annual vacation spot! We love the location directly on the beach and the pool amenities as well. The condo was bright and clean and recently updated. We like the location next to Rockin Tacos and Al’s so we could walk to dinner. It’s close enough to the hustle and bustle to drive but far enough away to offer a more relaxing getaway.

Great stay!

We had a great time at Destin West! We loved our condo. It was nice and spacious. Great view of the ocean! Couple things was we only got 2 rolls of toilet paper for 5 people and 5 nights. That is definitely not enough. Plus two out of the four TVs worked. Other than that it was clean and a nice stay! We would definitely stay here again!!!

Family Friendly Condo

We loved our stay at Destin West! The condo was as described. We didn’t have any issues and found the condo to be clean and well stocked for our weeklong family vacation. The kids loved the bunkroom. We appreciated the sand/beach items that were available to us. The condo is right by the parking garage (though there are about 6 steps that you have to walk down in order to get to the floor the condo is on). Our kids loved the pools, especially the lazy river. I would highly recommend this condo unit - it was close to restaurants, easy walk to the beach and pools, and beautifully updated.

We loved the property! It was close to the beach, shops and restaurants! The chair in the primary bedroom that folded into a bed was not comfortable for my daughter. She chose to sleep in the pull out couch which was broken so she ended up sleeping directly on the couch itself. I sent a text to the number in my check in instructions but never received a response. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again!

Beautiful condo with plenty of space! The unit is a great easy walk to the beach (down the side stairs)! The beach chair renters can give you one right at the end of the boardwalk!!! Beautiful beach views and relaxing place to be!

Best beach vacation

This was our first beach vacation with our kids and we had an amazing time!! We would stay here again! We loved the atmosphere/decor of the condo and the views from the balcony. The condo was very comfortable and had plenty of room for us to spread out and relax. We also enjoyed all the amenities Destin West Resort had to offer. The condo is located at the very end of the building closest to the parking garage making it very convenient with coming and going from the condo.

Great condo with breathtaking views!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for a week in unit 416 on the Gulfside and had the best trip! The condo was very comfortable and the kitchen was great. It had all of the kitchenware needed to make meals at the condo during our stay. The view of the pool and the ocean was incredible from our balcony. We also found out on our second day that we are allowed to also use The Island's (next door condo) pools, restaurants, etc. With our condo combined with what The Island had to offer, it was a perfect combination! We were able to easily walk to the shops and restaurants at The Boardwalk. We went to Harborwalk Village twice and took the EC Rider Shuttle ($2.00/person) one time and an Uber the next. This condo is in a wonderful location and if we are able to return, we will stay here again! Only one issue--- the bifold door to the bunk room was broken and not on the hinges when we checked in, but our young kids slept in there anyways, so it wasn't a major deal for us.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location. We would definitely stay at this resort again, I might consider another condo unit though. You could tell they had swept and picked up but there was no way they mopped and it really needed a good mop (I’d guess it had been awhile since it had been done.) and a deep clean in the showers. Light was out in master shower. We swept multiple times which was expected with sand from the beach but baseboards need cleaned. May consider a deep cleaning every so often. Bathroom and floors especially. Other than that we were very happy. Since it was the end unit I thought it might be a pain to walk to the beach but it was a breeze. I like the parking garage.
