Home away from home

Home was immaculately clean and well furnished. Beds were very comfortable and the amenities were terrific for a several night stay. Communication with the host was excellent. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable stay.

Fabulous retreat

We stayed for a long weekend for a family get together. Spacious and comfortable home with all amenities! We loved the wood burning fireplace outside and relaxing time together in the theater room. Comfy beds, exquisite furnishings, room to roam inside and out and very close to PA and DE. 20 minutes from PHL airport and all things Philadelphia! Highly recommend!

Excellent Home

Beautiful and clean home. Amazing hostess Carol. The only issue was that I did not initially realize that the bonus room was attached to the Master bedroom suite. Was a little awkward since we were all adults. However, there was space for everyone. Loved It! will definitely stay here again and refer friends.

Perfect for big family

We came for army navy game in Philadelphia...it was half hr drive in....the house was beyond magnificent and so spacious...not one complaint...well stocked and very cozy house

Lovely spot for a family gathering

This property had all of the space and accommodations we were looking for to hold our holiday family gathering. It had plenty of room for our children as well as older adults. The yard was spacious and neighborhood is private. It's set in a bit of a remote location with few restaurant options- but if you don't mind ordering from the local family-owned pizza place or bringing your own food, this is the place for you. The hosts were very sweet, decor was lovely, and house was just what we were looking for. Thank you, Carol and Mike!!

Our new first choice: A perfect, fun and luxurious stay!

From start to finish we could not be more pleased with this VRBO experience! Our hosts, Carol and Mike, are most gracious and helpful from initial contact through the follow-up on our stay. Upon entering the home everything inside greets you with warmth, elegance, and beauty, beginning with the lovely curved stairway to the semi-open second floor landing and hall, all appointed with beautiful artwork and design elements!. This home is simply beautiful, well appointed, and generously spacious! It is fully equipped to make your stay wonderfully memorable! Once you begin exploring the first floor’s many offerings, you will discover two large and plush seating and dining areas, a luxurious theatre room with super-comfortable yet very supportive chaise lounges! An adjacent dry bar area just outside the theatre room is perfectly positioned to provide guests their favorite beverages! Theses areas create marvelous opportunities for socializing or by, simply closing a door or two, can be transformed into a quiet work or reading space, or, as in our case, a room in which to make music together! The spacious open kitchen’s high quality appliances, cookware, beautiful serving ware, large island with bar stools, and well designed work flow pattern made it a joy for one or many cooks to work efficiently together! The back patio, conveniently accessed from the kitchen, offers a nice BBQ, brick fireplace with chimney, a fire pit, thoughtful seating accommodations, and large beautiful lawn area, extending the ambience and fun to outside even when temps are cool. The laundry room offers great laundry appliances, laundry and ironing supplies, a 2nd refrigerator, great extra storage space, a high chair,!and port-a-crib. The en-suite bedrooms and bathrooms (first and second story) as well as the two Jack and Jill bedrooms which share a central bathroom (second story) are spacious, fully and beautifully furnished, providing amazing comfort and privacy with high quality beds and bedding, capacious closets, and luxurious linens. To further create private get-away spaces within the home, Mike and Carol have also included a refrigerator, microwave and Keurig coffee services for each bedroom!! The Master Suite is a crown jewel that is larger than my first home! It happily accommodated one entire branch of our family with the desired level of privacy and comradery for all! Thank you with all of our hearts, Mike and Carol!!

Family time

We came from three different states for my sisters 75th birthday party. Six adults and five boys under 6 years old. This home was perfect. The boys had plenty of room to run around in. The movie theater room was their favorite and enjoyed hide and seek in there too. There was a keurig, water and snacks in every room. We all enjoyed those amenities. Everything was clean and well kept. If the situation arose again we will definitely stay here.
