Welcome to our university Griz Getaway. This beautiful brick home is located two blocks from the University of Montana and less than one block from Bonner park! The park has tennis courts, pickle ball basketball courts, volleyball courts, eating pavilion, water park and band shelter with Wednesday evening bands. Just minutes from restaurants, fine dining, shopping, carousel, parks, River, fishing, breweries and nightlife. The house is located on a large fenced corner lot with two bedrooms plus air mattress, formal dinning room, large living room, laundry room with new washer & Dryer, utility sink, two full bathrooms and mud room. Spacious kitchen with all the essentials you will need. Spend your evenings on porch swing in the enclosed porch and enjoying the beautiful days and nights in Missoula. Come stay with us and enjoy our property.

The host was very welcoming and helpful. The home was very clean and had everything I needed and more! I really appreciated the little touches like having nonstick spray for cooking and small snacks and drinks upon arrival. It was very close to campus, about a 7 minute walk to Craig Hall or 1 minute drive :). There were deer lounging in the yard every day which was fun. I would definitely stay at this home again.

We were able to make my college son a home cooked meal. The kitchen was very well stocked. The only item missing was a can opener There was even baggies for leftovers. The house was clean and comfortable. Location was perfect for my boys to walk from dorm room to us. The hostess was friendly and willing to let us check out a couple hours later to align better with our flight. Would definitely stay here again

Summertime in Missoula

Staying at Griz Getaway has become an annual event for my wife and me. The home is terrific, the neighborhood is great, and the city is the best. Lisa is very helpful and accessible. Girz Getaway is perfect if you want to stay in Missoula and engage in the city.

This property provided exactly what we were looking for: a comfortable, relaxing place with easy access to interesting shopping and nature. Clean, comfy, quiet. Kitchen had everything needed to make a meal and a market was within a brief walk to get the ingredients and a big dining room table to eat at. City park half a block away. University campus two blocks. Downtown a 20-30 minute walk. It was a fantastic week!

Wonderful cottage!

I've stayed in a lot of VRBOs and this was one of the best appointed, most comfortable houses! Two bedrooms, two full baths, extra blankets, a washer/dryer, Keurig and pods, games, DVDs, coffee, water, and more. It was a great location for coming to a football game. A nice, easy walk of about 20-25 minutes to the stadium. Close to downtown. 15 minutes from the airport. If I ever come back to Missoula, I know where I'm staying!

Peaceful Relaxing Convenient

It is a nice home in a beautiful neighborhood. We walked to Bonner Park every morning. We swung on front porch swing every evening. The home and neighborhood are very relaxing. The location is fantastic. You will not need to rent a car as you can walk to everything. Lisa is a great host and easy to connect to if you need anything.

Homecoming 2024

We stayed at the Beckwith home to enjoy Homecoming 2024 and celebrate family birthdays. Once we got there, we were able to walk everywhere. We loved all of the space and enjoyed sitting in the backyard to enjoy the lovely fall weather. The owners had the home stocked with everything one would need and are great communicators. Perfect! We will be back!

Great neighborhood and place

The house was very comfortable and had all that we needed. We appreciated there was laundry detergent and other items that you might have forgotten at home. We also enjoyed the collection of books and the front porch swing. The host was very helpful and responded quickly to my questions. We love staying in this neighborhood. There is a beautiful park in the next block and you can easily walk to the river and downtown or the University. There is a small grocery and wonderful deli just 2 blocks down on Higgins. This is our second visit to this area and would certainly stay here again.

Had a wonderful time in this very cool home. 3 of us in town for a griz game. So close to the stadium, as well as downtown. Very comfortable beds. The second bathroom is in the basement, but worked well. Thanks so much!

Summer in Missoula

The house was comfortable and well stocked, including a full spice rack. The AC was heavenly on those hot days. We sat on the front porch one evening relaxing and enjoying the sounds of summer. This location was perfect. I hope to return someday

This was the perfect place to visit our daughter at UM and spend the weekend enjoying Missoula. Lisa was very responsive allowing us to check in early and stay a day longer. Would highly recommend this property!

I have been a property manager and own rentals for 20 years. My husband thought we should try to make one of our units into a Vrbo. So my daughter and I decided to try it and we loved it. I have three daughters and married for 26yrs.

My family and parents wanted to share our home that we enjoyed for many years to other family’s that will enjoy the park, bbq, concerts in the park and the beauty of Missoula.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

enjoy the views of the mountains by swinging on the porch or eating breakfast out there. We have tennis racks, basketballs, volleyballs for the park that is one block away. Enjoy the coffee bar in the dinning room and the bar area for the evening. Ridding bikes to the University and walking to the farmers market.
