It was a perfect location that is a close walk to the South Beach area where there are bike rentals, Salty Dog Cafe, a ice cream shop, a general store, pickleball courts, a pier, marina and more. It was also a short walk to the beach. The house has direct access to the beach path from the back gate of the pool. It was accessible for my 85 year old parents with some limited mobility issues.

Very clean home and close to the beach. Roomy and highly recommend. Used to visit HHI years ago and it’s good to see not much has changed in Sea Pines.

Very comfortable home for our group of 7 adults. So close to the beach. And even easier walk to South Beach tennis, shops and restaurants. Bike rental credit was an unexpected bonus!

Perfect Hilton Head Location with room for kids and parents

House is lovely with a great kitchen. The set up is perfect to let kids have their own space- bedrooms upstairs and a separate family room. It’s a short walk to the beach or to The Salty Dog for a bite/drink/treat. Tons of shady paths for walking or biking. This trip was easier and more relaxing than I could have dreamed!!

Beautiful Sea Pines Beach House Perfect for Families

We loved our stay for spring break - this house is super close to the beach (right off #11 path and just second house in) plus to Salty Dog and Jake's Pizza (our kids favorite places to eat in HHI). The house is well appointed and laid out - perfect for a combined group of families and kids of various ages. We loved the heated pool, separate family room area and kids rooms upstairs! The hosts were super responsive to a pool cleaning issue and very welcoming. We look forward to a return stay!!

Size and layout was great. Could use updating. Dissatisfied with the overall cleanliness of the house. Had to vacuum up bugs from floors and bathrooms, and killed mosquitoes inside the house during our entire stay! Pool was nice, and water temperature was great! Proximity to beach and Southbeach was also great.

The home is treated regularly for pests, though the heavy rainfall this season has made keeping up with mosquitoes and other bugs more challenging than usual (it’s the most rain we’ve seen in quite some time down here!). Great Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Coastal Home & Villa were very accommodating and responded to any issues we had promptly. They even had a man help us unload our fully packed van. Two things come to mind regarding the house. Of the 3 toilets on the main floor, only the master bathroom had a low toilet that is hard for elderly people to use. I would recommend updating that. Also, the refrigerator was missing some shelves in the both the fridge and freezer.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Outside of the main sliding door out to the pool, a drain was backed up and flooded the whole are making it impossible to walk outside without being in ankle deep gross water. I emailed and sent pics the first day and no one came out to assess. Also- I don’t feel as though it was cleaned up to standards.

2 burners on stove did not work. Igniter on grill did not work as well as thermometer and 3 burners. Drain by the sliding glass door plugged and water stood.

Since your review, the stove has been completely replaced - so there is a brand new one there now working great. We also have a maintenance technician looking into the exterior drain. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second time staying in this house because our experience last year was so great. The house, particularly the kitchen, is very well stocked. Pool is warm without extra fees and great for kids. We had another great stay this year however I did find changes in the beach a little disappointing. There has been erosion from recent storms on South Beach so there is very little beach the several hours before and after high tide. This limited the amount of time we could be on the beach without driving to a different public beach on the island. Additionally, the ramp of the boardwalk to the beach broke off so you have to jump 2.5 feet from the end of the boardwalk to the beach which made it difficult for wagons and kids and grandparents. This is no fault of the rental company. Just fyi for renters.

When you have that many people, the kitchen is not functional. Overall it was a good house.
