What a wonderful stay in a lovely home that accommodated our size family perfectly. The easy access to the beach was wonderful. We would certainly come back!

Beautiful home

This spacious house is located right off our favorite boardwalk. We enjoyed ourselves. Property management was very responsive to the two issues that occurred.

Quick getaway

We decided to go to Kiawah at the last minute and wanted something close to the beach and near the front entrance. This house was perfect. Great bedroom set up and plenty of room for everybody.

Beautiful House/Excellent Location

The house was beautiful and we loved being so close to the beach as well as nearby shopping and restaurants. A few suggestions are…the house is described as being able to accommodate 14 for the week but there was only one extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and only 6 pool towels for the 14 people to use. Also there are many light bulbs burnt out and we couldn’t find extras to change them. We loved the house and Kiawah though and had a great vacation!

Bedding not clean, stained, hair in sheets and blood on another sheet of sheets. Bathrooms had hair on floor and men’s beard shavings in top drawer. Pool area very dirty, spider webs, pool was full of algae. I messaged host first morning and never got a response. Pool guy came one day and didn’t clean walls of pool. Too cool to swim anyway, but still was nasty to look at. The house is in a great location, but it needs a major overhaul. Rust on shower rods and finishes rubbed off in bathrooms. Carpets are stained and furniture all the way around is very worn.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed ourselves! The house overall was very nice, great location! Needs some updating on the 2nd & 3rd floor bathrooms and maybe utilize the 3rd floor bedroom with bigger beds, perfect for kids but maybe a little small for adults. The access to the beach was right there and quick to get to. We had one issue that was addressed by maintenance immediately after we called, they got there and corrected quickly. Management team was professional and quick to return our call. Location of house close to plenty of golf courses and beautiful scenery.

Disappointing

This is a beautiful house and great location but is in desperate need of upkeep. All the living room furniture is soiled and dingy. The appliances are old, the oven was very dirty and the door handle on the refrigerator came off. The repairman said he has to repair this every couple of weeks. The walls have many scuff marks and need to be repainted. Some of the carpets are soiled. Vents are dirty. One of the toilets had to be plunged every time it was used

Vintage Beach House with Excellent Location

The location is wonderful and the home is perfect for four couples... plenty of room to spread out and work in the morning and easy walk to the beach in the late AM into the early PM. If you come to the home know it is vintage early 2000s feel, all you need is in the Kitchen, the rooms are large and wonderful. We especially liked that each couple had its own full bath. The pool is the perfect size to cool off and hang around when having a cocktail or two. Bring and HDMI cable and Roku if you want to stream as the TVs are a bit out of date. The WIFI worked wonderfully. The management staff did a great job of working with us, we needed a new propane tank for the grill (make sure to check that out) and they provided us a new tank. The grill works great as gas grills go. The last full day of our trip we went into Charleston it is about a 40-min drive with traffic. Definitely recommend at least one day there. Kiawah Sanctuary hotel was wonderful as well. There is a fine dining option know you will need a jacket - they will also provide you one if you need it.... other dining options are available and shorts are just fine. Overall I am giving a high rating because of location (the beach is right there)..., the amount of space you get for the price --- it is all about creating your own fun! If you are expecting a perfect modern home and must have "perfection" it is not the place for you. If you are about the experience you will not be disappointed.

Great Family Reunion Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was perfect for our family of 11 adults.Proximity to the beach was a real plus. The only negatives was that neither the under counter icemaker or the one in the freezer worked but there was a portable icemaker on the counter which worked fine. Some lightbulbs were out (e.g., the toilet area in the first floor primary bedroom). The elevator did not work on the ground floor (appeared to be bolted from inside) but it did work on the other floors. That's a problem with bringing in luggage and groceries and for people who have a problem with steps! All in all, assuming these items get fixed, we would be happy to return!

In October it was too cold to use. The little ones could just sit at the edge and get their feet wet. My next rental I would make sure if it had a pool it also have a way to heat it.

Pool and pool deck is always an added bonus. Kitchen appliances need some work: dishwasher bottom shelf was broken and not fixed during the week in spite of calls. The ice and water dispenser on the fridge was leaking and the floor in front of the fridge was always wet (we kept a towel there). Furniture was comfortable and adequate for adults and kids.

Unfortunately, those parts were not able to arrive until after your departure, but I am pleased to advised they have since come in and been replaced. Was very grateful for the elevator for brother-in-law and bringing luggage and groceries in and out. Eugenia is a great location on the island IMO. There is a new home under construction across the street facing the ocean but the construction was not a bother. Sometimes getting out of the driveway was a little precarious with on street parking of construction vehicles but doable. Overall stay was wonderful. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

The rental process is smooth and really could not be any easier. The home is beautiful but has aged since we were last there and could use some maintenance.The dishwasher was almost unusable and is on it's last legs.

Ladies getaway

The bottom rack Is frustrating. It comes off the track when loaded and our plates didn’t come out clean. The paper towel holder is broken and needs replacing. We would recommend this house to anyone with a large group. Akers Ellis is easy to work with.

Thanksgiving getaway

We enjoyed this spacious house. The location was great for a quick walk to the beach, bike ride to the Sanctuary, tennis and shopping at Fresh Field Village. It was very close to beautiful golf courses.

Plenty of room!

We love this house and the pool. Proximity to beach is great. This is our 2nd year and I do feel the home needs some additional up keep. Grout dirty in shower, mildew on air vents, ice maker freezes up. Deck boards are flimsy in places along with railing. Love the pool but it becomes VERY slippery when wet. House needs alittle TLC.
