The perfect place to stay right next to Denali National Park! The entire property had beautiful views and the den was clean and well maintained with plenty of amenities for a longer stay. We 100% recommend this to fellow travelers!
The Wolf Den was a perfect, cozy place for our family to stay while visiting the Denali area. Comfy beds and a nice kitchenette in a beautiful setting. Saw a moose right outside.
Our family of 4 had a great stay. Close to the park and beautiful surroundings. Even though itâs a studio, there is plenty of space to not feel cramped. Clean and cozy.
Great property with easy parking, nice view, and it is very quiet. It is very cozy. We stayed for 3 nights and would stay again. The owner is very good at communicating and very easy to talk to.
Property is as described, clean and comfortable, with treed views and a quiet setting. It is in a rural neighborhood, convenient to AK 3, Healy restaurants, groceries, gas, etc. It was our base to explore Denali National Park. We liked that it gave us access things we wanted to do, but wasn't in the middle of a touristy environment, and that we had a responsive and caring host. We would stay again.
We stayed 3 nights. This rental was perfect for us. Nothing fancy but the studio is comfortable, very clean and pleasant. Magnificent view, southern exposure with full sun. Excellent location, very quiet. The owner is very helpful, but very discreet.
This was a great property very close to Denali national park. Is it at the park every day while we were in the area? This was the first leg of our trip in Alaska. Abby was very responsive to any questions I had.
We had an excellent stay. The room was perfect for our family and had all the amenities we needed! Great communication with the owner and had zero complaints. Would 10/10 stay here again!
We had a lovely stay at the Wolf Den. Itâs about 10 miles from the Park Entrance. Abbyâs directions were to the point and we found the place easily.
The place is exactly as listed and very clean and had wonderful views of Mt Healy.
The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was quite well stocked though it was a little cramped for 4 adults.
It would have been great to have wifi, but we understand itâs spotty and Abby did her best.
All in all, a lovely stay and canât wait to return.
The Wolf Den was spotless and comfortable. We felt fortunate to have found your place so near Denali park in a quiet area near gas, groceries, and restaurants. Thanks!
Follow the printed directions the owner will give you - we tried using Google Maps all the way - seemed easier - until it brought us in the "back" way to this house. Printed directions are much easier on your car. Very nice, quiet unit and close to the local grocery store and 49th State Brewing. There are steps up to this second floor rental - I was not recalling that from when I booked, but something some people may want to keep in mind.
Great little place just about 15mins north of Denali National Park.
Nice, clean place. I especially like the little kitchen with cutlery and dishes since I like to cook my own food. Everything is nicely setup. I did not have to bother the host for anything since they thought of everything. I would definitely recommend it.
Originally from the Midwest. As a seasoned traveler I have made Alaska my home and look forward to sharing it with others. I love being outside, traveling, animals, cooking & baking, volunteering, DIY projects and hosting.
After deciding to make Healy my year round home, I started looking for a place to purchase. This house just felt like home from the beginning. It is a space I love to share with others and want everyone to feel welcome in this home away from home.
