My group of 10 girlfriends meets every year at this amazing property! We have everything we need and not ever enough time to fully enjoy all the house has to offer. Perfect for very large families and friend groups with plenty of space and things to do. The view is incredible and the beds are the most comfortable I've ever stayed in, and my whole group agrees.

Ultimate House/Location for “Boys” Weekend!

10 life-long friends spent a long weekend here hanging out together. We made use of the perfect back yard for playing Bocce, relaxing in the hot tub in between games. The downstairs bar was perfect place to unwind and listen to some music. Plenty of room to spread out as all 10 of us had our own rooms for some privacy when needed. We went out for dinner at the Watersview Restaurant on Friday (10 minutes from the house) which everyone enjoyed. The condition of the house was great, clean with no issues! Our group will be back! Thank for a great weekend trip!

Well-organized, lovely and plenty of room - inside and out!

"Carried Away" was a top-notch experience. We enjoyed the kitchen cabinets being labeled so we knew where to find things when cooking and where to return them! Because we had beautiful weather, the kids and grandkids spent most of their time in the water and SO enjoyed the kayaks and the paddleboards. The entire family enjoyed being on the dock, upstairs and down, watching the fun. It was nice to be able to see what was going on from the deck up at the house. We ate at the TWO outdoor tables several times and used the gas grill which worked well. We ended up with 14 adults and 7 children for one of the nights, and had plenty of room for all! If you want to bring in a meal, check out Gettin' Sauced in the City, right down the road for delicious Italian food. We are already talking about next year... :)

Yes there were activities for us to do on the property and not have to leave. The property looks just like the posted picture and videos. This was our fourth 1st cousins trip and the best out place thus far.

Mom & Dad's 50th Anniversary

Although a short stay, we absolutely loved this property!! The house was beautiful and the property was amazing! We rented the pontoon boat as well and had a wonderful time! It was especially nice sitting out by the water with the firepit at night! Would definitely recommend staying here.

Wonderful house on Lake Gaston. Great for adults and kids. This was our 2nd year at Carried Away, we will be returning next year. Game room was very good. Spacious house. Lake deck has upper and lower level and was a great place to congregate and spend the day.
