Fully Furnished Cedar Cabin resting on stilts among the trees with a huge front deck with patio furniture and a BBQ Grill. The back porch has furniture and overlooking the woods with hammock and creek. There is a Campfire Ring and Firewood provided for your roasting marshmallows and campfire enjoyment. A short hike about 1000 feet back to Lake Lewisville through the trails in the woods and a short walk or drive to West Lake Park. 1 mile to boat launch. 3 Bedroom 2 Bathrooms just remodeled rustic decor. Full kitchen with all the needed cooking supplies and spices and some sauces. Lot’s of board games, puzzles, Corn Hole and washers. It can be a short term rental daily weekly or monthly rental. Property is over 1 acre in the Lake Dallas Hickory Creek area. 1 Queen Bed 1 Full Bed and 1 Twin Bed that can be converted to King. With 2 decks with seating on both. New Central AC/Heat, New Windows, New Water Heater, New Floors, New Paint. WiFi, New 55 inch Flat Screen for Streaming, Washer and Dryer. Includes water, sewer, trash, internet & electricity. This property is part of the Lake Dallas RV Park.

Beautiful Cabin, good amount of space in and outside, fireplace that works with wood supplied, festive decorations for Christmas were a nice touch, both porches were beautiful.

Cute cozy cottage in Lake Dallas

This place was simply lovely. It was exactly as described and photographed. The beds are extremely comfortable. It has two decks which we used and a firepit which we adored. We hosted my cousins for a small party and had a wonderful time together. We will certainly be back.

The cabin was perfect for our needs. We were visiting friends just down the road, so we really only needed a place to sleep. The s’mores and hot dogs were a nice touch!

Happy Birthday!

Siblings and spouses (6ppl) from Washington, Indiana and Florida spent a long weekend at the cabin to surprise our Mom for her 80th birthday. It was the perfect setting! It felt like a slumber party retreat with all the trees, the 2 outdoor decks and firepit. The kitchen is big enough that we could all help with meal prep and the gas grill was an added bonus. We look forward to coming back again to celebrate Mom's 90th!

Family gathering for our daughter’s engagement

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen utensils allowing us to cook at the residence as well as prep food for our daughter's engagement party. The home was adorable & beds were comfortable; the guest bath was adequate & could use a little care.

Wonderful stay!

Peace and quiet was what we were looking for. Listening to the birds chirp was really nice. 2 best restaurants in town was Elm Fork and Don Camilo Italian. Would rent again!!

Great location and host!

Cabin was clean, and very spacious! It was decorated for Christmas, too! And with plenty of firewood to give it a comforting feel. The fire pit outside was welcoming for our s’mores and family time. Host was responsive and gracious!

we brought our kids here to merge some urban outings with a cabin feel. Bryan is an excellent host. It was quiet and we enjoyed our stay. Come make some smore's and enjoy a quiet weekend!

Family Getaway

Grandkids time was perfect. We were close to the state park so they got to fish and paddle around in the kayak. At the cabin we did games and puzzles, took walks in wooded area and enjoyed the evening campfire.

Amazing Vacation

The cabin was extremely well priced for the quality! We enjoyed relaxing and looking out of the large windows as well as exploring the property. We spent a lot of time outside as well and grilled two out of three nights. The kids had a fantastic time playing games and grilling. There are local swim areas including family friendly ones and pet friendly places. The beds were super comfy and everything was clean. The included smores kit and hot dogs came in handy too! Everything was perfect. 10/10

Great cabin

We found this cabin setting to be a perfect location for us. It had a small community feel while being close to the things we wanted to do in the DFW area. The cabin had great outdoor spaces to enjoy with two deck areas and more adjacent private space for campfires and lawn games as well as adjacent trails to the lake. The decor was very clean and cozy. Communication with the host was excellent!

Quite, Wonderful, Peaceful

This cabin was AMAZING! The location was perfect. It is located in the woods, yet not far from town. The beds were so comfortable. We loved having a fire every night in the cabin. Enjoyed the smores and hotdogs on the outside fire. It was myself, wife, 2 kids (10 and 7) and my mother-in-law. Great amount of space for us all. Our kids enjoyed playing outside and exploring the area. They really liked the hammock. Try the new Italian restaurant down the road, Romas, delicious!

Cabin in the Woods

It was such a peaceful and beautiful location with plenty of outdoor area full of oak trees. My daughter and son in law with their baby joined my husband and I and we were all very comfortable. My husband and I played corn hole, and we all walked to the park across the street and made memories there. We invited 6 friends for breakfast one morning and we all felt we had a great time. We had almost all our meals at the cabin, which is a big plus for us. We are very thankful to the host for VRBOing this cabin!

Just what we needed to recharge

Thanks Brady for making it possible for us to enjoy a week of much needed calm and relaxation that included our four kitties. The bird feeder on the patio was a great hit with the kitties. It gave them nonstop entertainment watching birds and squirrels all day. Jay and I enjoyed the great selection of non-tech entertainment for a change, including the s’mores treat. We had a wonderful time. Definitely a place to share with friends and family. Thank you., again. We will return. 😊

Perfect Getaway

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a cabin in Lake Dallas, TX, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The cabin was completely furnished, providing all the essentials including linens and dishes, which made settling in a breeze. The convenience of having a washer and dryer on-site was a significant plus, allowing for a hassle-free stay. The cabin features two spacious decks, perfect for enjoying the serene surroundings. The BBQ grill was in excellent condition, making it easy to enjoy outdoor cooking. Despite its secluded location, the cabin is conveniently close to civilization, offering the best of both worlds—tranquility and accessibility. One of the highlights of my stay was the breathtaking view of the stars at night. The clear skies provided a stunning backdrop for stargazing, making for a truly magical experience. Although I did not use the fire pit, it was well-equipped with plenty of firewood provided, which is a thoughtful touch for those who enjoy evening fires. Additionally, the furnished hot dogs and s'mores kit was a delightful surprise, adding a fun and nostalgic element to my stay. Overall, I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It is the perfect place to unwind and relax, making it an ideal getaway destination.

Braden Smith is the owner and manager of the Cabin at Lake Dallas RV Park. The property was purchased in February 2020 and remodeled in 2020. I also have the RV Park next door I built and opened in Fall of 2021. I have been in Hotel and Restaurant development and management since attending the University of North Texas in Denton.
